Which are the best luxury hotels with executive club lounges in Switzerland: Zurich, Geneva, Basel, Bern Lausanne & Lucern? We have already reviewed the best Marriott hotels in Zurich and the best luxury hotels in Geneva. Unfortunately, most luxury hotels in Switzerland do not have executive club lounges or concierge floors with rooms offering complimentary food and drink. But there are some more average hotels that do offer club lounges, and we explore these below.

1. Zurich Marriott Hotel

Zurich Marriott Hotel is a Rewards Category 6 Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Zurich with stunning lake views and nice decor. It is not in the ideal location is it is at the far side of the main station from the Old Town and town center, but everything remains walkable, so you are fairly central.

Nestled downtown along the banks of the Limmat River, this hotel offers the flavors of Switzerland or savor Thai dishes at their restaurants. Unwind at their New York-inspired bar featuring rare whiskeys and smoker’s lounge with premium cigars before retiring to your room with contemporary decor, pillowtop beds, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and flat-panel TVs.

Upgrade to a premium room and enjoy more space and access to their M Club executive club lounge. Boasting a sophisticated design and flexible spaces to work, this is a 24/7 lounge where you can connect and recharge. Offerings include daily complimentary breakfast every morning, upscale all-day food and drink options, plus high-speed internet access.

The M Club Lounge is a wholly contemporary concept. Located on the lobby level, the new sophisticated design by architectural firm Joi Design in Hamburg brings with it a host of extra perks for travelers to this iconic Zurich hotel.

Featuring a hosted entrance and concierge services, the lounge is accessible 24/7 with a guest keycard, which included free access for Marriott Rewards Gold and Platinum members. The lounge hosts a breakfast daily and offers up snacks, and light bites 24/7.

In the evening guests can enjoy upscale hors ‘doeuvres, including house charcuterie, artisanal cheeses, and pickled vegetables. Wi-Fi keeps guests connected at all times, and their concierge is on hand for any assistance or local recommendations.

Following the opening of M Club Lounge, Zurich Marriott’s renamed premium rooms offer the best way to experience everything the new lounge has to offer. A stay in the hotel’s premium rooms, such as the Club rooms and suites, Business suites, and Panorama suites, includes incredible views of Zurich and beyond, as well as exclusive access to the M Club Lounge.

2. Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel

Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Zurich West.

Whether you are traveling to Zurich on business or for leisure, the hotel offers good-value accommodation with complimentary Internet. The location is some way out of town, up the river in the wrong direction from the Zurich Marriott Hotel, making the Zurich Marriott Hotel a better choice if you are sightseeing.

Spacious hotel rooms and suites are comfortably equipped and offer panoramic views. The Executive club lounge offers complimentary food and beverages, and the hotel offers fitness, a sauna, and a steam bath area.

Enjoy tasty dishes at the EQUINOX Grill Restaurant or sit back and relax in their LUCID Bar & Lounge and savor a cocktail, drink, or snack. The “Upperdeck” is one of the highest and most exclusive event locations in Zurich, located on the 15th floor overlooking Zurich’s skyline.

There are more Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Zurich, including the Kameha Grand Zurich, Autograph Collection, but there is no club lounge in this hotel. The Sheraton Neues Schloss is another Marriott Bonvoy in Zurich with no club lounge.

While both these properties have club lounges, our favorite hotels in Zurich are the Park Hyatt, which is stylish and chic, and the Atlantis Giardino which is pictured above and is the best Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Zurich.

3. Crowne Plaza Geneva

Crowne Plaza Geneva is elegant superior 4-star hotel with 366 rooms, a contemporary design and a relaxing atmosphere. It looks to be the only hotel in Geneva with a club lounge.

Located near the airport and the Palexpo conference and exhibition center, the hotel not exactly ideal for walking around Geneva, but you are able to get to the city center in only fifteen minutes if you take public transport, so it is a good-value base for Geneva.

Enjoy the tourist attractions, the walks around the lake, the vibrant streets, and luxury shops in the city center. Feel like shopping? Geneva’s biggest commercial center is located a few minutes away from the hotel.

There is a fairly good club lounge at this Crowne Plaza in Geneva. Given that this is only a four-star hotel, just manage your expectations as this hotel is functional rather than ultra-luxurious.

Relax in the Club Lounge, located on the top floor, with amazing views over the mountains and the city. Enjoy a free breakfast, snacks, and drinks at any time of the day in a restful atmosphere. To take advantage of this club lounge, you need to book a Club room with access to the Club Lounge.

The Crowne Plaza Zurich is another Crowne Plaza in Switzerland, which was the former InterContinental Zurich. It offers compact rooms but no club lounge.

In Geneva, as far as we know, the only hotel with a club lounge is the Crowne Plaza. The Marriott Bonvoy luxury Hotel President Wilson by their Luxury Collection has no executive club lounge. Hotel Rotary Geneva – MGallery by Sofitel is your best Accor hotel in Geneva, but it doesn’t offer an executive club lounge or concierge level either.

Beyond Geneva, there is the Renaissance and The Hotel Luzern, Autograph Collection in Lucerne, but neither of these has an executive club lounge.

Montreaux is home to Grand Hotel Suisse Majestic, Autograph Collection by Marriott Bonvoy. In Verbier, you will find W Verbier, which is again Marriott Bonvoy hotel, but neither has a club lounge.

As far as our research goes, Bern, Basel, Lausanne & Lucern in Switzerland are not home to any hotel executive club lounges either, but please do get in contact via our luxury travel concierge if you know of a hotel that we have not listed with an executive club lounge.
