Which is the best club or executive lounge at the best luxury hotels in Costa Rica? Usually, the Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental offers the best club lounge in a city or resort. There is an InterContinental hotel in Costa Rica named InterContinetal Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall, which does offer a club lounge, but there is currently no Ritz-Carlton. NEKAJUI, Ritz-Carlton Reserve, is coming soon to Costa Rica’s renowned Peninsula Papagayo, but it is not yet clear whether this hotel will offer a club lounge. Luxury-branded residences can currently be purchased here from over $3 million to over $13 million.

We have reviewed both, and both are absolutely worth a visit, but neither have club lounges. From our research, we found that there are very few hotels and no luxury hotels in Costa Rica with executive club lounges. We outline your best options below.

1. Best Club Lounge: Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen
The Costa Rica Marriott Hotel Hacienda Belen is an upscale hotel in Heredia, Costa Rica. It has a full-service spa, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and two restaurants. The hotel also has meeting and event spaces for up to 400 guests. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service to the airport and nearby attractions.
The spacious guestrooms and suites offer modern amenities such as flat-screen TVs, complimentary Wi-Fi, luxury linens, and plush bedding. Book an Executive Room, and you will get access to the Executive Lounge at the Costa Rica Marriott San Jose, which is pictured above. This lounge contains a flat-screen TV, a breakfast buffet that includes dried fruit, cold cuts, cereal, salad, pastries, and 6 hot dishes, including scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. This spread also includes a coffee machine and a choice of juices. 2. InterContinental: Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall
InterContinental Costa Rica at Multiplaza Mall is a luxury 5-star hotel located in the heart of San Jose, with stunning views of the city. The hotel offers modern amenities, including a fitness center, spa, and business center. The hotel also features a variety of dining options with a Latin-American flair. Guests can also enjoy the convenient location, close to the mall, local attractions, and nearby businesses.
Intercontinental club lounges tend to be very good, with expansive breakfast buffets containing a cold buffet and an a la carte option. 3. DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cariari San Jose
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Cariari San Jose, Costa Rica, is located in the heart of Costa Rica’s capital city. The hotel has a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, spa, business center, and outdoor pool. There are various dining options, including a gourmet restaurant, a poolside bar, and a lobby bar. The hotel also offers meeting and event space and a complimentary airport shuttle. All guest rooms feature plush bedding, complimentary Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TVs.
There is a free shuttle service, which departs from the hotel to SJO Intl. Airport each hour and from SJO Intl. Airport to the hotel on every half hour.
