El Al, has revealed photos and video of its new El Al Dreamliner Business Class cabin. They have also released details of their Premium Economy cabin on their B787 Dreamliner cabin. This is their first Premium Economy cabin which looks to be comparable to its competitors. You can see which Premium Economy airlines I think are the best in the world.
The new El Al B787 Dreamliner offers a stylish cabin with lie-flat seats in Business Class along with a brand new Premium Economy cabin.
The design has been overseen by London-based PriestmanGoode who have also updated the airline’s livery along with new aircraft cabin interiors, including Business Class, a new Premium Economy, and Economy Class. Improvements have also been made to the look of the entrance areas and galleys.
Seats Review In Premium Economy
When you look at the seat map, you will see that the premium economy cabin is arranged in a 2-3-2 configuration, with a total of 28 seats. The Premium Economy seats will offer a wider personal space. Ergonomic, with 38 inches of legroom, a dedicated footrest, and a recline of up to 7 inches. There is also an adjustable headrest, offering six modes of comfort.
In the Premium Economy Class, you will enjoy an advanced AVOD entertainment system by Panasonic, including a personal 13 inch touch screen and a wide variety of content. It is worth noting that the front row of Premium Economy offers a smaller screen size of 12 inches, making them the worst seats to choose in the cabin.
The new designs will be rolled out across the airline’s new fleet of Boeing Dreamliner aircraft. Features of the Business Class cabin include 32 fully flat bed seats, all offering aisle access. You can see the look and style of both Business Class and Premium Economy in the photos above or the video below.
What Food Can I Expect On El Al In Premium Economy?
El Al’s website says that “Premium Economy Class guests will enjoy a rich menu served on an elegant tray in porcelain dishes, with a selection of wines from Israel’s best wineries and various alcoholic beverages.” In other words, it should be better than Economy but not as good as Business Class.
El Al does not offer a decent Premium Economy product on its other planes, but this will be an interesting addition to their fleet and will be a great choice for El Al leisure travelers.
