Luxury Travel Diary frequently flys with Emirates in First Class and reviewed their long-haul flights. Our trip reports can be found below. We’ve also reviewed Emirates flights in Business Class.

Emirates has more than 240 wide-body planes in its fleet, carrying more than 40 million passengers to more than 100 destinations in the world per year. The Dubai-based airliner is also the largest operator of the Airbus A380, with 74 of this aircraft type currently in its fleet and 66 more on order. The success of Emirates is very much based on the comfort and space onboard its A380s, which are used on both short-haul and long-haul. Emirates recently upgraded the on-board Lounge/Bar on its flagship Airbus A380 aircraft where you can stretch your legs and mingle with other fliers.

We love their First Class product. Gold-clad suites come with a sliding door, a personal mini-bar, and adjustable ambient lighting. At night, the crew will convert your seat to a super comfy, fully flatbed with a mattress so that you can arrive at your destination totally refreshed. If you don’t feel refreshed, take a shower in the sky. First-Class private suites are available on all Emirates Airbus A380 and A340-500 aircraft and most Boeing 777 aircraft. First Class cabins on other aircraft offer flatbed seats or deeply reclining comfort seats.

Emirates have introduced the world’s first moisturizing pajamas designed for airline use and to overcome dry air, so passengers get a better nights sleep. They are available to First Class travelers on Emirates overnight long-haul flights.
