Luxury Travel Diary’s writers have flown with South African Airways many times and reviewed their long-haul Business Class flights. Our trip reports can be found below.
South African Airways is the flag carrier and largest airline of South Africa. It operates a fleet of more than 50 aircraft, including 9 Airbus A340-600 planes.
The Business Class cabin looks a bit dated, although the fully flat bed seat was still very comfortable (with plenty of space for your legs). SAA has recently introduced a new product (which looks stunning), but so far it is only available on its newly delivered A330-300 aircraft.
We’ve reviewed the South African Airways Business Class Lounge in Cape Town separately.
Below you will find our most recent flight reviews on South African Airways in Business Class; you can draw your own conclusions.
For a comparison, you can read our Lufthansa First and Business Class reviews and my British Airways First and Business Class reviews.
