Which is the best airline to fly to the Middle East in Business Class? I have picked Qatar Airlines, Etihad, and Emirates.

Airlines such as British Airways, American Airlines, Qantas, Singapore Airlines, and Cathay Pacific all also fly to the Middle East. Still, the Business Class product on the Middle Eastern carriers is vastly superior to other airlines.

Long-haul Business Class flights only represent 15% of long-haul seats globally, but this is the most lucrative cabin for airlines

The Middle Eastern carriers include Qatar, who have recently introduced the excellent new Business Class Suite, which is, in effect, a First Class level of seat in Business Class. Emirates has a great onboard bar, and Etihad has probably the best First Class on their A380 (with onboard shower!).

There is little to choose between these airlines, and I have looked into which is the best; Qatar Vs. Etihad Vs. Emirates, but to be honest, convenience in terms of the departure airport and the destination airport you want to arrive in is probably more important to consider when choosing between the airlines over their onboard Business Class offering.

You might want to choose your Middle Eastern carrier by the lounge offered at its respective airport hub. I have reviewed these below, and in our humble opinion, the Qatar Airway’s Al Safwa First Class in Doha’s new Hamad International Airport is the best airline lounge in the world. I am also a fan of Etihad’s First Class Lounge & Spa in Abu Dhabi. I have also reviewed the following lounges at these respective airline hubs: Etihad Airways Premium Lounge in Abu Dhabi Airport, the Al Mourjan lounge at Hamad International Airport in Doha and the Concourse A Emirates First Class Lounge at Dubai International Airport.

That said, these airlines tend to offer a superior product on their newest planes and their A30s, so it is worth checking which aircraft you will be flying on before booking your tickets to ensure you experience their most upgraded and newest Business Class seats or pods.
