Book A Hotel

If you fly out of London’s Heathrow Airport on United, you should get access to the Queens Terminal United Airport Lounge. This lounge is simply stunning and is located in the new Queens Terminal at London Heathrow.

This new version of Terminal 2, now known as the Queen’s Terminal, offers some really great new lounges. Of course, this particular lounge does get packed just before a bunch of United flights are about to leave to various destinations in America, but it is stunning in design and the food and drink offering is impressive.

Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of the lounge is the stylish bar by the window (pictured above). This bar is apparently the longest at Heathrow and provides loads of seating along the bar as well as in booth-type seating beyond the bar.

Food & Drink

The food is some of the best that I’ve seen at a United Club. You can see the full menu in my pictures;

Breakfast offers a massive range of hot and cold items so you can select yourself a “full English” from the buffet (eggs, bacon, sausage, beans mushrooms and so on) along with muesli, yoghurts and bowls of fruits.

Lunch is a massive array of salads, sandwiches, crisps, ships, cooked veg and roasted potatoes and parsnips plus various dishes like curry, shepherd’s pie and pasta.

There are piles (literally) of bread and muffins and a massive range of drinks, including some excellent hand-prepared complimentary cocktails from the bar.

The view is also noteworthy, with floor-to-ceiling windows looking straight out onto the tarmac.

Even the toilets in this lounge are kinda cool, as they are immaculate with sparkly walls (see pictures), and there are as many showers as toilets for those who want to freshen up.

This lounge is definitely one of the most impressive lounges at Heathrow Airport and you can see which others I think are the best lounges at Heathrow Airport.
