Stay at the chic The Apsara Rive Droite Hotel on your visit to hot 2018 destination Laos for an exclusive and intimate little gem.

Location

Us luxury travelers like to beat the rush and with Laos being very firmly on the must-visit 2018 list, it’s the time to go before the crowds descend. The ancient UNESCO heritage town of Luang Prabang is the perfect introduction to Laos; a stunning, all-year-round destination on the Mekong River with lots to do in the vicinity. Don’t miss the Kuang Si waterfalls and caves, boating on the Mekong River, shopping in the night markets, and of course, the famous morning ritual of giving of alms to the monks. The hotel is located in the heart of Luang Prabang in one of the less touristy areas on the banks of the Nam Khan River. Luang Prabang International Airport is just 3km from the hotel and the airport transfer is complimentary. Once you arrive, you can reach the center of the town using the hotel’s very own boat, The Apsarian Queen!

Style & Character

The Apsara Rive Droite Hotel is a beautiful boutique riverside hotel; comfortable and luxurious with a wonderful style that perfectly represents its location whilst making International guests feel right at home too. The hotel is housed in charming French Colonial style villas. The interiors are elegant with plenty of dark wood, designer furnishing, and heaps of natural light.

Service & Facilities

The private pool is tucked behind bamboo and tropical plants on the banks of the Nam Khan, it’s a beautifully tranquil space surrounded by manicured gardens, with comfortable lounges and sun umbrellas and is the ideal spot to recharge your batteries after a busy day exploring Laos. Or, for some extra-quiet time, head to the library with a book and a chilled beverage. During that exploring, make full use of the bicycles if you fancy a break from the boat and discover this wonderful town on your own terms.

The service has echoes of a delightfully traditional formality; the staff are dedicated, friendly, and very hospitable.

Rooms

There are just nine spacious guest rooms, all include their own balcony or terrace and huge bathroom with the ultimate luxury travel must of a separate bath and shower. Four of the rooms also have a day bed that can be made up into a single bed. Pick from the ‘Garden View Deluxe Queen’ or the ‘River View Deluxe Queen’ depending on which is your favorite view – a tough call I know!

Food & Drink

The refined and intimate bar and restaurant area serve a fine selection of modern Laos and Western dishes has an extensive wine list, and a martini with a reputation! You can also dine in-room and there’s a poolside menu too which includes a rather fabulous cocktail selection; how better to mark the end of a great day.
