Book A Hotel

I used to be a Hyatt Gold Passport member, but when their Gold Passport loyalty program changed to World Of Hyatt, I gave up. There was simply no way in the world that I was going to achieve the heady heights of becoming a Globalist. To do this, I would have to book 60 qualifying nights, earn 100,000 Base Points, or hold 20 qualifying meetings/events per calendar year. It was never going to happen, which meant no free upgrades or perks at Hyatt for me!

So, I hear you ask, how do I now get lots of perks on my Hyatt stay, equivalent to a Globalist, Explorist, or Discoverist member for free? How do I bypass the need to achieve these loyalty levels at all?

Let me explain. You see, Hyatt Hotels also has a travel agent loyalty club called Prive Loyalty Program. This is not the World Of Hyatt Program. It is a loyalty scheme launched specifically for travel agents, which gives guests who book with that agent extra benefits for no additional cost, such as room upgrades, free breakfasts, offers, discounts, and credit to spend in the bar, restaurant, or spa. This is most of the good stuff that you would benefit from as an elite member such as a Globalist, but crucially, you can benefit from all these extras from your very first booking when you book through our Virtuoso Luxury Travel Concierge.

These benefits are offered at the same rates as the ones you will find on the Hyatt website. The perks are relevant for stays at the most luxurious hotels in the Hyatt brand, which includes all Park Hyatt hotels, all Andaz hotels, some Grand Hyatt hotels, some Hyatt Regency hotels, and some hotels in The Unbound Collection. These incentives encourage travel agents like our concierge to recommend these Hyatt brands over other luxury brands as we can offer our clients extra valuable benefits for free at these hotels.

If you are a World Of Hyatt member, you can double up your benefits by booking through our Luxury Travel Concierge travel agency which is a member of the official Hyatt Prive. You get our benefits and your own.

How To Get Your Upgrade & Benefits

When you book a Park Hyatt hotel through our Luxury Travel Concierge, you will get all our advertised complimentary benefits added to your stay. Our benefits will also be added to a stay booked with us at Andaz and participating Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and The Unbound Collection hotels.

A two-night minimum stay is required at Grand Hyatt, Hyatt Regency, and The Unbound Collection. Park Hyatt and Andaz require a one-night stay. It is worth mentioning that Hyatt Prive rates will allow you to additionally claim your benefits from being a World Of Hyatt Member and earn points and stay credits.

How do I book a Hyatt Prive rate with all the benefits?

Consumers can’t book this directly, but rather you have to book through an eligible travel agent, which includes our own Luxury Travel Concierge. The rates should be the same as on the Hyatt website, but all our benefits will be added in for free.

Is this a good alternative to going for status?

We think yes. Instead of racking up a specific number of stays at a specific chain or brand of hotels, as hotels increasingly introduce these types of programs, the value of your elite status decreases. Just for booking through our Luxury Travel Concierge, you get the equivalent of elite status, which includes a complimentary upgrade, free breakfast, early and late check-out, (subject to availability), and hotel credit. Those are really the most valuable elite perks.

It makes you wonder whether it’s worth being loyal to any particular chain. Using a member travel agency like ours means that you don’t have to pick a chain, and you can simply stay in the hotel that you prefer or the hotel that is the best value, and you will get all the elite benefits right from your first booking.
