Location
The Cosmopolitan Hotel & Spa is situated in the traditional town of Paralia Katerini, in the region of Pieria in Greece. Paralia Katerini is known for its beautiful coastline and is a natural bay with a harbor, open-air markets, cafes, bars, and those traditional Greek tavernas of course! The hotel has breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and is in the shadow of Mount Olympus; even better the suns shines here at least 200 days of the year! You are just a 5-minute stroll to Katerini Beach and are a convenient hour’s drive from Thessaloniki Airport.
Style & Character
The welcoming hotel oozes contemporary Mediterranean style. It is designed so you feel as if you are on a floating resort, and with the beach so near and the lovely pools you might as well be!
Service & Facilities
So those pools, the main outdoor pool almost seem to wrap the hotel! There is a separate kids pool too and a heated indoor pool perfect for a relaxing swim or why not laze on a lounger at the private beach accompanied by the gentle sound of the waves. You can treat yourself at the luxurious spa which offers a full range of treatments and also has a Thermal Area with a Hammam and a Sauna. To keep fit while you’re away there’s a fully equipped fitness room.
The hotel is family run and it shows; the staff are very hospitable – friendly, helpful and always there when you need them.
Rooms
There are 50 rooms in this boutique hotel. Choose from Family Rooms, Double Rooms, Junior Suite or Suites; each comes with a sea or city view; unsurprisingly perhaps we would definitely recommend the sea views – just spectacular from the panoramic windows and even better from your furnished terrace or balcony! The rooms are all sophisticated and feature all the amenities that you would expect with luxury travel but the suites are just that bit more refined and include elegant living rooms and more space.
Food & Drink
Dine at the polished 2-story Cosmopolitan restaurant which overlooks the pool. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style. In the evening you enjoy a delicious variety of Greek and international dishes with a fine wine list to match. Head to the poolside bar afterward and listen to the tunes from in-house DJ over a cocktail or two or walk into lively Paralia Katerini for an evening out Greek-style!
