Interestingly, if you are offered a choice of airline to fly out to your departure destination, we particularly liked the economy service offered on the KLM Cityhopper which we also reviewed. Unlike flying on Flybe or British Airways, on the KLM flights you get a light bite and a drink.
You will also get a bite and a drink on British Airways European Business Class but not in Economy. For a cheaper way to fly British Airways in Business Class it is worth collecting air miles for free with your credit card and we have outlined the best credit cards to collect air miles separately.

River Cruise Review: APTouring AmaVerde Springtime In Holland & Belgium
On 20-27 April 2018, we took an APTouring Springtime Discovery Of Holland and Belgium river cruise on the AmaVerde ship. APT arranged for us a complimentary VIP chauffeur-driven car to pick us up from home to Southampton airport. We then had a flight booked from Southampton direct to Amsterdam on KLM at times convenient for us. We reviewed the KLM Cityhopper flight separately. This was a pretty new plane with excellent onboard service for a European flight, and included a light bite and a drink of choice, even in economy.
