I am not a fan of my feet so when the summer ends, although I miss the sunshine and the warmth, it is a blessing to put my flip flops in the garage and to hide my feet away in a nice pair of snuggly boots.
I actually have a pair of deeply loved Keen boots that I bought 3 years ago and that have been my favourite boots for many years.
They have been perfect for the school run as I drive in bare feet (my bohemian side coming out!) so I like to have boots that are easy to slip on and off for when I get in and out of the car. In fact, they slip on as easily as my flip-flops but make my feet as snug and warm. Just ideal for the colder weather!
Sadly, these boots are now 3 years old and although they remain my most comfortable shoe, my mud-encrusted lovelies are looking their age so I immediately headed back to Keen for a replacement pair.
My choice for this season is these Keen Winterterra Lea boots. They are stylish, comfy, and most importantly, warm.
They will be perfect for the school run along with the upcoming annual fireworks night trip. Yes, a night my son loves and that leaves my husband and I shivering in a cold field in Dorset. So when I am standing in the cold, muddy field, jogging on the spot to stay warm whilst trying to avoid the billowing smoke of the bonfire, my feet will be having the last laugh as they stay toasty while the rest of me shivers.
