If beachside in Bali is your idea of heaven (and really, how could it not be?), then the beautiful Tijili Benoa Hotel is precisely where you need to be.
Location
The hotel is located right on a private stretch of beach in Tanjung Benoa. The spectacular Tanjung Benoa Peninsula is part of the trendy Nusa Dua resort, which lies towards the south of the Indonesian island of Bali.
Best Time To Visit
The most popular time to visit Bali is during the summer months of July and August. If you can, go just out of season, so May, June, or September when you can still avoid the rainy season (which occurs November to March) but also miss the crowds too.
How To Get There
You can fly from the UK to Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport in around 17 hours with a connection. Flights usually go via Bangkok, Singapore, or Malaysia. Tijili Benoa Hotel then lies a very convenient 15 minutes away from the airport, so in no time at all so you can be sunning yourself beachside.
Style & Character
The hotel bares the signature style of parent Tijili Hotels; creative, fun with pops of color and lots of art. It managed to be both trendy and quirky with a nod to the traditional too.
Service & Facilities
Your beachfront location means everything here. Days are spent lazing on a lounger, or as it’s Tijili Benoa, maybe a brightly colored beanbag instead, on the soft white sands. There are plenty of watersports, and the hotel has direct access to the famous Tanjung Benoa Water Sport, or if you want a break from the beach, the hotel has two swimming pools. There’s the main pool on the ground floor and the infinity sky pool, located, as the name suggests, on the rooftop! Head up there to enjoy a relaxing dip and breath-taking ocean views.
There’s also a spacious, well-equipped gym, a kids club, and, as with all Tijili Hotels, lots of services to make your stay a comfortable and laid back one; 24-hour front desk, airport transfer, and taxi service, 24-hour room service, complimentary valet parking, complimentary on-site parking and a handy shuttle service to Bali Collection Nusa Dua Mall for when you want to do a spot of holiday shopping.
Everyone working here seems to love the hotel as much as we do! There are smiling faces everywhere. They are so keen to help and manage to be unobtrusive and yet on hand when you need them.
Rooms
The tropical designer rooms are exquisitely decked out with handcrafted tiled floors, sculptural lamps, stone slab tables, and hip ethnic patterns in fabulous colors. They either have pool or city views and enjoy all the amenities that you would expect with luxury travel, including rainfall showers and 24-hour room service. Choose from the Deluxe Courtyard Balcony, the smallest room or the Deluxe Terrace. If you opt for a Deluxe Terrace definitely make it the Sea View room where you have a wonderful beach and sea view from your private terrace. Families will be delighted with the Interconnecting Deluxe Courtyard Rooms, where the two rooms give you both a little bit of privacy, but the connecting door means you can pop in and out of each other’s rooms too; great for a chat or to keep an eye on the little ones!
Food & Drink
When you need nourishment during those long days on the beach, head to the Warung Bamboo Beach Bar, conveniently open for breakfast, lunch, high tea, and dinner. The bamboo-constructed bar boasts stunning, stand-out architecture with a vast, curved umbrella-style roof. It has a lovely laid-back beachy vibe, and you can sit back and enjoy the gentle sea breeze while indulging in a cocktail or two. For slightly more traditional dining, though still with a very chilled take on formal, visit the Kakatua Restaurant for more of those cocktails, delicious tropically-inspired cuisine, and, of course, a cheery pop of color.
We love this hotel because of its fantastic beachside location and the barefoot luxury vibe throughout.
