Best Time To Visit
London is a busy year-round destination. The weather in the UK can be very unpredictable, no matter the season, so it’s always best to carry an umbrella. If you’re searching for hot weather, June to August would be the best time to visit, with the average temperature falling between 18°C to 30°C. Perfect for rooftop bars, music festivals, strolling through the markets, and green spaces that the city has to offer. Christmas time is also wonderful, as you get to experience the festive activities, lights, and decorations that this beautiful city has to offer. Of course, the weather will be cold, with the average temperatures between 2 and 6°C, so wrap up warm!
How To Get There
If you already live in the city, the London Underground is your best form of transport. The closest stations are Tottenham Court Road, which can be reached via the Central or Northern Line, and Oxford Circus Station, which can be reached via the Bakerloo, Central, and Victoria Lines. If you’re traveling from abroad, London City Airport is the closest airport and lies just a 45-minute drive away from the Courthouse Hotel.

The hotel’s two fabulous restaurants and bar offer delicious English buffet breakfasts, brasserie lunches, beautiful afternoon teas, and elegant dinners. The Silk restaurant is dramatically and uniquely all set in the courtroom, while The Soho Wala, our favorite place to eat at the Courthouse, offers explosive flavors of Indian street food. Head Chef Preet Tandi focuses on using exquisite, fresh ingredients and the expansive flavorings of regional Indian culture. Guests recommend the sumptuous afternoon tea and mouth-watering tandoor-cooked chicken. And after dinner, why not enjoy a drink on the ‘Toy Roof’ rooftop bar, with its quirky teddy bear-filled, glass-walled bar, and ample vibrant seating.
