I have flown with China Airlines many times and have reviewed their long-haul Business Class and Premium Economy flights on A350 Vs. B777. My trip reports can be found below.

China Airlines has been named the most turnaround airline worldwide – they came from a reputation for miserable old planes and a shaky safety record to one of the safest airlines in Asia with some of the newest jets.

Whilst it’s easy to pick their new ‘Premium Business Class’ product as the true flagship product on the new aircraft, we are also attracted by their brand new premium economy class, which is phenomenal in its own right and for the price is one of the best business class minus products in the air today.

The China Airlines A350 is a great plane with a beautiful cabin. I love the design in the warm and understated colors. The seats are the same (but newer) model that you can find on China Airlines 777. It is a new version of the B/E Aerospace Super Diamond seat that is, in turn modeled after Cathay Pacific’s super successful Zodiac seat. It is a little hard to get into your seat, but it delivers privacy and plenty of room (in all directions) for a comfortable fight.
