We review the best executive club lounges at hotels in Riyadh, Al Khobar, and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Arabia, officially the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is a country in Western Asia, constituting the bulk of the Arabian Peninsula. Most travelers come to Saudi Arabia on business rather than as tourists. All visitors, including pilgrims, need a visa to enter Saudi Arabia. In fact, it was only in September 2019 that Saudi Arabia began offering visas for the first time to non-religious tourists.
I have compiled a list below containing the club lounges available across luxury hotels in Riyadh, Al Khobar, and Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. I list the lounges that I consider to be the best in each city. I will be reviewing each of these hotel club lounges in detail so that you know what you’ll get if you book a room with club lounge access or get upgraded to a club lounge for free because of your loyalty status.
1. The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh
Among the most majestic five-star hotels in Saudi Arabia, The Ritz-Carlton, Riyadh (pictured above), takes guests on a captivating journey throughout its 52 acres of lavishly landscaped gardens, spacious and sumptuous accommodations, fine-dining restaurants, and 62.000 ft² of elegant event space.
This is the best choice for travelers to Riyadh and is one of the city’s most respected five-star hotels. It offers a tempting array of amenities, including 492 guest rooms and suites, including two-bedroom Royal suites and one-bedroom Executive suites, 62,000 ft² of event space, including state-of-the-art conference rooms and two grand ballrooms. There’s also a gentlemen-only spa offering signature rituals and treatments catering to business travelers. Finally, there’s a majestic indoor heated pool offering garden views from its floor-to-ceiling windows.
The Ritz-Carlton Club® Level is located on the second floor, overlooking a stunning indoor pool. The Ritz-Carlton Club® Level offers club guests a heightened level of luxury and personalized service.
Featuring five continuous Food and beverage presentations throughout the day and exclusive lounge benefits, the club lounge is perfect for conducting business meetings or just simply relaxing while passing a day.
Club rooms are usually nicer than ordinary rooms and feature a 43 m²/462 ft² and dedicated work area, including a spacious living room and expansive windows. Amenities include wireless internet, a flat-screen TV with satellite service, and a DVD player.
Guests staying in a Club Room or Executive Club Suite are entitled to exclusive access to The Ritz-Carlton Club® Level. Club Level guests may invite visitors (subject to availability), at a supplementary charge. Ritz-Carlton club lounges tend to be the best in any city, and this Ritz-Carlton Club® Level offers the best club lounge in both Riyadh and the whole of Saudi Arabia.
2. InterContinental Riyadh
Set in 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens, the InterContinental Riyadh is a peaceful hotel just a 5-minute drive from the city’s business district. City attractions, including Masmak Fortress and Al Murabba’s Palace, can also easily be reached.
The hotel’s 275 guest rooms and suites are spread over the 6 floors, with many of the rooms featuring fine city or golf course views. All of the rooms are neatly decorated in a modern Arabian style and feature luxurious marble bathrooms.
Guests can enjoy a 9-hole golf course on-site, a 12-lane bowling alley, tennis and squash courts, as well as an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The hotel’s health club features a well-equipped gym as well as a sauna, hot tub, and wellness center.
Club lounges at InterContinental hotels are always impressive, with excellent breakfasts, including hot and cold items, food and beverages throughout the day, afternoon tea and evening drinks, and light bites. Take a look at our review of the club lounge at the InterContinental London to see what you might expect in the InterContinental in Riyadh in Saudi Arabia.
3. Nobu Hotel Riyadh
Not yet open, the Nobu Hotel Riyadh will be a contender for one of the best luxury hotels in Riyadh. Soaring and sparkling, sporting clean lines and casual elegance, Nobu Hotel Riyadh will be an urban oasis in the heart of downtown Riyadh. It will be the very first five-star luxury boutique hotel in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. A modern masterpiece, Nobu Hotel Riyadh is a 23-story glass-paneled skyscraper rising proudly above the storied skyline, elegantly styled with distinctive design touches that reflect Nobu’s Japanese heritage.
Captivating from the very first glimpse, its arabesque architecture includes innovative printed, layered glass and a highly reflective façade that balances privacy and exposure, beautifully addressing its striking surroundings with a powerful synthesis of color, reflection, and light.
Embodying the best of the brand’s effortless style and laid-back luxury, Nobu Hotel Riyadh offers 134 stylish guestrooms and suites, superb dining, a stunning spa, a full-service fitness facility, an exclusive executive club lounge, well-equipped meeting rooms, two glittering ballrooms along with the Kingdom’s very first Nobu Restaurant. All of this adds up to a desert sanctuary that artfully blends the vibrant energy of Riyadh with the understated luxury that Nobu personifies.
While we don’t know what the executive club lounge will be like, it will almost undoubtedly be a step up from the Crowne Plaza’s lounge below, and it may even be better than the InterContinental club lounge outlined above. Only time will tell. For now, we have placed this hotel club in position 3 in Saudi Arabia, even though it’s not yet open.
4. Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers
: Club lounge with snacks and non-alcoholic beverages
Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers is a Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Category 4 hotel and the best Marriott Bonvoy redemption hotel in Riyadh.
Strategically located in the heart of the city center, this landmark of Arabian hospitality has been connecting people in the heart of Riyadh for nearly 30 years. Sheraton Riyadh Hotel & Towers features 193 modern guest rooms, including 18 suites and 12 villas.
Business travelers will appreciate their Club Rooms, which offer complimentary access to the Sheraton Club Lounge, where you can enjoy complimentary daily breakfast, internet access, and non-alcoholic drinks. Beyond the club lounge, the hotel offers a unique dining experience with two very well-known restaurants in Riyadh, La Piazza Italian Restaurant and Al Bustan All-Day Dining.
5. Crowne Plaza Riyadh
Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace has 304 rooms and is a recent addition to the growing portfolio of IHG hotels in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace is strategically located in the Ministries Quarter, a popular business district that is close to major Saudi financial institutions and Government offices. The hotel is conveniently located 15 minutes from King Fahd Stadium and the King Fahd Cultural Centre and is less than a 30-minute drive from King Khalid International Airport, making it easily accessible for visitors to the city.
Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace is redefining the business travel experience and offers a comprehensive range of facilities to meet the needs of corporate and MICE travelers. For those in town on business, the hotel features five meeting rooms spanning 1,400 m² and a dedicated team to execute seamless events. With free Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel, the guests can stay connected to their business or home. Additionally, the 24-hour business center is fully equipped with the latest technology and amenities, providing a great working space to the hotel guests.
During downtime, guests can enjoy the hotel’s outdoor pool and Club Lounge or rejuvenate and relax at the spa. The guests staying at the hotel can keep their workouts on track at the well-equipped fitness center. At the end of a busy day, guests can sleep better with the help of the Crowne Plaza Sleep Advantage System, which includes a relaxing aromatherapy kit and ultra-soft premium bedding so that they are more alert, productive, and energized the next day.
The Club Lounge at Crowne Plaza Riyadh Palace will not be as luxurious as the club lounge at the InterContinental, but it should also provide a decent breakfast and drinks and snacks throughout the day. Usually, the quality of food at Crowne Plaza Club lounges falls below the quality you would find at the more expensive InterContinental hotels in the ihg group of hotels.

There are some more Marriott hotels in Saudi Arabia, including the Jeddah Marriott, Madinah Marriott, which has no club lounge, and Makkah Marriott, which also features a club lounge.
7. Le Meridien Al Khobar
I have placed the club lounge at Le Meridien in Al Khobar in position 5 as it is probably around the 5th best club lounge in Saudi Arabia, but it sits outside Riyadh. The club lounges in Riyadh tend to be the best, particularly those at the Ritz-Carlton, the InterContinental, and Nobu. Le Meridien Al Khobar club lounge is, however, the best club lounge in Al Khobar.
Le Méridien Al Khobar features 333 guestrooms that display beautiful views of the Arabian Gulf. The hotel has three distinct dining venues, 14 meeting rooms that can accommodate up to 450 guests, a sun-drenched outdoor pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, and extensive health and leisure facilities for tennis, pool, and a fitness center.

Various massage treatments can be scheduled at Plaza Al Khobar’s spa. It features 2 separate well-equipped gyms, one for ladies and one for men and a sauna.
There’s a nice selection of snacks and beverages in the club lounge, including breakfast and evening snacks and beverages.
9. Jeddah Hilton Hotel
Located just 20 minutes from the bustling downtown area, the Jeddah Hilton offers contemporary rooms with stunning views. Whether you’re there for business or leisure, enjoy excellent dining, meeting, and conference facilities, as well as easy access to Jeddah’s many nearby attractions. The hotel’s location puts you within easy reach of the airport, city center, and the Holy City of Makkah.
The top attraction in Jeddah is the Old City of Jeddah, a UNESCO heritage site, the Red Sea shopping Mall & Vox Cinema, the Jeddah Waterfront Corniche area, and The Floating Mosque.
The hotel houses a private mosque for hotel guests, indoor and outdoor swimming pool facilities, and the hotel itself overlooks the new Jeddah Waterfront corniche area.
