Which Marriott Bonvoy Resort is the best in Whistler? We have already reviewed the best ski hotels and resorts in the Whistler, the best ski hotels in Europe and the best ski hotels in the world which also includes two iconic hotels in Whistler, but the Marriott hotels are not your best choices in Whistler. We have outlined the very best Marriott Bonvoy ski hotels if you are looking for a ski hotel specifically in the Marriott brand.
You could quite easily argue that the Marriott Bonvoy hotels offer the best value in Whistler. In high season, the room rates of the two best hotels in Whistler, the Four Seasons and the Fairmont, can be high, so at these times of the year, the cheaper Marriotts with cash or redemption can be a good choice. But in the low season, even the ultra-luxury Four Seasons reduces its rates to a reasonable level. Try months like November for the best deal.
In North America, the luxury resorts of Whistler and Aspen tend to be considered the best for luxury, but Jackson Hole and Vail are also worth considering as these are the locations for some of the best Four Seasons ski hotels in the world.
As you probably know, there is no Four Seasons rewards program, so you can’t spend or redeem your loyalty points at these. But you can get loyalty style free benefits at every Four Seasons Hotel, including the Four Seasons ski resorts, if you book with luxury travel concierge.
Marriott recently merged with Starwood, so their hotel portfolio includes The Luxury Collection, St. Regis, Westin, W Hotels, EDITION, Sheraton, and the Four Points by Sheraton, as well as Marriotts, JW Marriotts, Courtyard by Marriott, and more. Executive lounge access is a perk afforded to top-level Platinum Elite members across these brands, so if you hold this level of membership, it is almost always worth picking a Marriott hotel in your destination to take advantage of free room upgrades, breakfasts, and lounge access.
Which Marriott Bonvoy Resort is the best in Whistler? Well, Marriott Bonvoy members only have two choices, and they offer similar rates and levels of luxury. Neither has a club lounge in Whistler. If I am choosing between the Westin Vs. Delta, the room is usually considered to be better at the Westin as it has the best bathroom, balcony, and view, with a fairly decent dose of natural light in the living room.
In addition, premium Marriott Bonvoy members get free breakfast at the Westin but not at Delta, so it can be worth paying more for the Westin Vs. Delta. Usually, the Delta comes in cheaper than the Westin, but not always. If Delta is seriously cheaper, it is also worth considering, as the quality of these hotels is not a million miles apart. Most Marriott Bonvoy Platinum members would, however, be wise to pick Westin because of the breakfast.
You can redeem points at all of the Marriott Bonvoy properties or pay for your booking and earn them, but remember to use our luxury travel concierge as we can offer you special benefits or deals at all these hotels, whilst enabling you to benefit from your status and collect your usual points. It costs nothing to ask us for a quote, and we will be able to help you squeeze some extra value from your stay. If you are splurging, go for the Four Seasons or the Fairmont as these are the best hotels in Whistler.
