1. David Citadel, Jerusalem
Overlooking Jerusalem’s old city walls, the David Citadel hotel enjoys a stunning location in a city steeped in thousands of years of history, culture, and tradition. The timeless alleyways of the Old City, the Western Wall, and the Tower of David, the bustling Machne Yehuda market, the Mamilla Avenue, and an abundance of New City attractions are all within easy walking distance from this landmark hotel.
David Citadel Jerusalem boasts 385 impeccably designed suites and guestrooms, fine cuisine, a modernized gym, and a luxurious spa, a year-round heated pool, and a private executive lounge. The hotel’s design fuses past and future, evidenced in the local-limestone walls and in the curved steel and soaring glass-domed lobby. A highlight is the al-fresco Terrace, which overlooks the ancient city walls and the Tower of David.
Diplomats, prime ministers, celebrities, and artists arrive regularly at the hotel and enjoy the luxury, elegance, and comfort the hotel offers to all its guests.
The David Citadel hotel was recently renovated under the skillful hands of world-renowned architect Piero Lissoni. The renewal of the well-established hotel included the redesign of the public spaces, suites, and guest rooms, as well as the lobby, the pool, the spa, the gym, the banqueting spaces, the dining room, and the executive lounge.
This executive lounge is particularly renowned for its excellent staff. They will regularly refresh your drinks and offer food, as well as assisting in printing documents, making copies, and so forth. This is definitely one of the best executive club lounges in Israel.
The award-winning Executive Lounge at the Jerusalem David Citadel hotel is an adults-only concierge-level lounge, offering a range of complimentary benefits in a relaxed environment.
The exclusive lounge serves a breakfast buffet and a selection of hors d’oeuvres. Light dining and hot and cold beverages are available throughout the day, along with complimentary newspapers and magazines from around the world, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi, and a full range of business facilities.
A separated area provides the perfect space for hosting private business meetings, making it a top choice for dignitaries to meet in a more intimate atmosphere.
The Executive Lounge at the David Citadel Jerusalem hotel won first place at the Passport Awards, initiated by Israel’s leading travel magazine Passport, and was named the Leading Business Lounge in Israel 2014 by travel industry representatives.

Mamilla Hotel’s business executive lounge is located on the entrance level and is ideal for meetings in the private conference room.
The lounge has an elegant but contemporary design offering all day long light dairy dishes, pastries, and drinks. Modern plush sofas and coffee tables blend harmoniously with the antique Chinese and object trouve, ensuring a cozy living space for a relaxing break.
3. Crowne Plaza Jerusalem
Crowne Plaza Jerusalem is the worst Crowne Plaza hotels in Israel with the worst club lounge in our listing. The hotel is located on a hill at the entrance to Jerusalem. The lobby is spacious with some shops, but the rooms are small and basic, and the bathroom amenities are not noteworthy either. The blackout curtains reportedly don’t work with light coming around the edge of them.
The club lounge offers drinks and light snacks but not enough to fill you up, so this hotel does not come highly recommended, even though it does have a club lounge.
Note that The Ritz-Carlton, Herzliya is one of the best luxury hotels in the whole of Israel, but it is also one of the few Ritz-Carlton hotels without an executive club lounge.
