Bratislava is the capital of Slovakia and can be found on the banks of the Danube River, which is bordered by Austria and Hungary. It’s surrounded by vineyards and the Little Carpathian mountains, with many tree-lined hiking and cycling paths. Bratislava’s old town dates back to the 18th century. Overlooking Bratislava is their reconstructed Castle, which looms over the old town and the Danube River.
Ritz-Carlton hotels are often some of the best Marriott Bonvoy hotels in an area. They also tend to offer the best club lounges. While there are some truly gorgeous Ritz-Carlton hotels, there isn’t one in Bratislava, Slovakia. In fact, there are only two Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Bratislava. There is also no Four Seasons in Bratislava either.
If you are an avid collector of Marriott Bonvoy loyalty points or want to spend your loyalty points on the best luxury hotel in this city, we have outlined everything that you need to know below.
1. Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bratislava
Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Bratislava is situated in downtown on the banks of the Danube. The nearest airports are Bratislava and Vienna international airports. This is the best Marriott Bonvoy in hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia.

More importantly, this luxury hotel has the best club lounge in Bratislava, Slovakia. It’s called the Grand Living Room and offers an excellent breakfast. Platinum Marriott Bonvoy members do not get free access to this executive club lounge, but they can pay for a club room to get club lounge access.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, around 20-30 minutes from the Old Town, and the walk feels safe. Perhaps one of the few negatives of this hotel is that the river view is pleasant but not spectacular, considering the hotel’s location right on the banks of the river.
2. Sheraton Bratislava
While the Grand Hotel River Park, a Luxury Collection Hotel, is the best Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Bratislava, Slovakia, the Sheraton is also worth considering because it is cheaper and marginally better in location, if less majestic.
This Rewards Category 4 hotel offers good value and is also located on the bank of the Danube River, as a part of the shopping boulevard with a promenade, entertainment, cultural and relaxing venues. At only a 5-minute walk from the city center, this hotel is ideal for exploring the city.

Both Port Wilson Lobby Lounge and Amber´s Bar are perfect for a business breakfast, a gathering with friends, or an elegant pre or after-dinner drink.
The Sheraton Bratislava also has a very good club lounge overlooking the lobby with all-day snacks, decent breakfast including hot dishes, soft drinks and beer (but no spirits). The happy hour food is lacking and definitely not enough to fill you up, mainly with small finger food. The look is stylish with lots of woods and reports suggest it is never too busy.
