Book A Hotel

Four Seasons is one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world, and it is natural to ask the question, is there a Four Seasons in Marbella in Andalusia on the Costa del Sol? After all, there’s a Four Seasons in Madrid, which is one of the best luxury hotels in Madrid, so surely there must be a Four Seasons on the Costa del Sol? If there were, it would surely be one of the best Four Seasons in Europe.

Costa del Sol is located in Andalusia, in southern Spain. The main airport is Malaga, and the Mediterranean Sea sits to the south.

Wherever you are in the world, Four Seasons hotels are consistently one of the best hotels in that city or resort. This means that most Four Seasons hotel room rates generally start at $500 – $1000 USD per night and because they don’t have a Four Seasons loyalty program, you will never be able to book a free stay by racking up and redeeming points, or by collecting points on your credit card and spending them on a Four Seasons hotel stay. It can’t be done. But you can get discounts at Four Seasons hotels and benefit from special rewards at Four Seasons hotels for no extra cost by booking your next stay via our luxury travel concierge.

Is There A Four Seasons Marbella On The Costa Del Sol?

The answer is no. There is not a Four Seasons in The Canary Islands, which is a real shame. Although they are not a cheap brand of hotel to stay in, their reliably expensive room rates mean that their rooms are reliably excellent, and a Four Seasons hotel would be a blissfully peaceful retreat on this sunny costa.

But don’t despair. There are some beautiful alternative and similarly luxurious hotels that you can book into.

Where Should I Stay?

We love, love, love the Marbella Club pictured above. We reviewed the Marbella Club in more detail during our last visit there.

The Marbella Club is the epitome of beachfront luxury. Drive through the pantheon style arch at the entrance to this iconic hotel, and you drive into a slice of tropical beach-side paradise on the Marbella coastline.

The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is how perfectly manicured the beautiful grounds are. The tropical trees and flourishing bougainvillea clad the whitewashed Spanish style buildings.

Many of the rooms at the Marbella club sit in outbuildings, reached via a short golf cart drive, and then winding paths that intertwine between the buildings right down to the sea. The fact that the rooms are so spread out means that each block has its own garden area and is beautifully secluded beneath the trees.

There is an upper pool and a lower pool which is part of the beach club and which has a Hawaiian feel. In the evenings the “Champagne Room” bar and “The Grill” restaurant are atmospheric candlelit venues for your evening’s dining. There are also a number of other eateries to choose from during the day.
