Which are the best luxury hotels in Minsk, Belarus? Minsk is the capital and largest city of Belarus, and we investigate the best luxury hotels below. The best hotels include Renaissance, Marriott, Boutique Hotel Butaand Doubletree by Hilton.
1. Minsk Marriott
The new Minsk Marriott Hotel is a Rewards Category 3 hotel with sophisticated accommodation, outstanding service in the captivating capital city of Belarus.
This Marriott is conveniently situated close to the city center, steps away from both the main exhibition center and the exciting Minsk Arena. Many hotel rooms and suites offer private balconies with river views, and all boast free Wi-Fi and luxurious bedding.
Savor a meal at Fornello, our signature restaurant, or sample a hand-crafted cocktail as you nibble on tapas at the Barrel Bar or try the spa.
The executive lounge can be found on the ground floor and is open from 6:30 am – 11:00 pm. Breakfast is served in the lounge, as well as alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, hors d’oeuvres, and evening desserts. The lounge’s look is really stylish, with cafe tables and chunky marble surfaces offering a good selection of foods.
In the morning, there is bread, pastries, muffins, soft drinks, bottled water, juices, and a coffee machine. You have plenty of choice in cereals, plus there are two hot options, which include eggs. There are also cold cuts and cheeses, as well as smoked salmon and other smoked fish.
In the evening, you can enjoy bottled beers, wines, and spirits, along with light bites.
2. Renaissance Minsk
The Renaissance Minsk Hotel in Belarus is a Rewards Category 2 Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Marriott Minsk is part of an extensive new sports and entertainment development located approximately four kilometers from Minsk city center.
The complex provides a wide range of leisure facilities, including an excellent 20-meter swimming pool, squash courts, tennis courts, massage rooms, a fitness center, a bowling alley, and a cinema. The hotel itself has two restaurants, a lobby lounge bar, a cigar bar, and a nightclub.
Guests find themselves within walking distance of the Gates of Minsk. Admittedly, the location is not ideal as you need to take a taxi or walk 1-2 miles to most of the central sights, but there is a free shuttle to downtown meetings or attractions. The hotel is also near Minsk-Arena.
Modern rooms and suites feature generous layouts, plush bedding, marble bathrooms, workstations, free Wi-Fi, and TVs with multilingual channels. Upgrade to a deluxe room or suite to enjoy Executive Lounge amenities.
The Executive club lounge at the Renaissance Minsk Hotel in Belarus is fairly decent, and there have been reports that breakfast is served in the main restaurant as well as the club lounge. The breakfast in the restaurant is the better choice. There is hot and cold food in the evening and free wine and beer, and, of course, snacks and soft drinks out throughout the day.
3. DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk
DoubleTree by Hilton Minsk is not a very exciting hotel, but it is modern, has a decent breakfast, and is well located for the adjacent shopping mall. It is also centrally located in the city center, which is relevant if you are a tourist. It is just a few steps from the riverwalk and the old town. The highlight here is the large guest room windows, which offer an amazing view of the river and its surroundings.
4. Boutique Hotel Buta
If you are looking for a boutique hotel in Minsk city center, look no further! This hotel has fantastic chandeliers, loads of marble, a cute little spa pool, and luxurious if slightly dated, rooms.
5. Beijing Hotel Minsk
This oddly named hotel in Minsk offers an indoor pool as well as a spa and wellness center. Location-wise, it is 200 meters from Pervomayskaya Metro Station. The rooms are pleasant, and the garden-view rooms are quiet. Plus this hotel is near the metro station.
6. President Hotel
The grand and elegant President Hotel is in Minsk city centre. This is the largest 5-star hotel in Minsk and offers loads of facilities, including a large pool. The food in the restaurants here has a good reputation, and the rooms are large and luxurious.
7. Europe Hotel
Europe Hotel is another 5-star hotel in Minsk City Centre, but it does, like many of the hotels in Minsk, feel a little dated, perhaps like a hotel you would expect in the 1990s. That said, it has plenty of facilities, including a bar, and the rooms are large.
8. Astoria Boutique Hotel
This boutique hotel features a bar, a shared lounge, and views of the city. Astoria Boutique Hotel is set in Minsk, 1.5 km from the Palace of the Republic. Among the facilities of this property are a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, and room service, along with free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The foyer is rather lovely here with lots of white marble, and rooms feel grand if, once again, dated.
9. Gubernsky Hotel
Gubernsky Hotel is located in Minsk city center, in Rakovskoe Predmestye district, a 7-minute walk from Nyamiha Metro Station. The historic district of Trinity Hill is 1 km away. The hotel is not particularly special, and once again, it feels dated, with lots of white leather sofas in the foyer.
