1. VIP Lounge, International
The best Priority Pass Lounge in Puerto Vallarta Airport (PVR) is the International VIP lounge which is near the international gates. This is a two-level lounge with loads of space and really nice seating. This is the lounge that is the most appropriate to use if you’re flying to the US or Canada.
Cocktails and other drinks can be ordered at the bar or from the friendly servers, or you can pick up a beer and some food from the self-serve buffet. The food is good and will fill you up, certainly, it’s a great offering for a Priority Pass lounge although not comparable to some of the best airline lounges in the world. Expect sandwiches and plated salads covered in cling-film, along with small snacks to go with your drinks like nuts.
2. VIP Lounge, Domestic
The Domestic VIP Lounge is also a Priority Pass lounge and is conveniently near the domestic gates. The lounge is small and just one room and can get crowded, but it offers a bar with free cocktails, spirits and so forth, the same food and drink as the VIP International lounge, just served up in a less sophisticated and smaller space. Food is once again plated salads under clingfilm, sandwiches, and soup. It’s worth using if you have free access with your flight or your Priority Pass, even though the lounge isn’t great.
3. Arrival Lounge
This Priority Pass airport arrival lounge is available to all passengers after clearing customs. There are two entrances to the lounge, near the exit from customs and near the coffee shop by the main arrivals door.
You can access this arrivals lounge with your Priority Pass for free and it could be useful if the connection to your hotel is delayed. This lounge is tiny with a bathroom, self serve drinks including alcohol and snacks like nuts, as well as plated salads in clingfilm. If you arrive in Puerto Vallarta Airport hungry or thirsty, it might be worth picking up a bite or a drink from this arrivals lounge before you go to your hotel, but don’t plan to spend a lot of time there as it is not a place you will want to spend your day.
