Book A Hotel

We review hotels in Aspen with the best club or executive lounges. The best hotels include Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen, Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch, Ritz-Carlton Denver, St. Regis Aspen Resort, W Aspen.

By reviewing each of these club lounges, in turn, I conclude which hotel club lounge comes in at the top and which hotel I would select as having the best club lounge in Aspen.

1. The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch

Sadly, there are no hotels with executive club lounges in Aspen. There is no Four Seasons in Aspen either. The Ritz-Carlton, Bachelor Gulch is not far away at just under 2 hours drive and has one of the best hotel club lounges in Colorado.

The Ritz-Carlton Bachelor Gulch is located in Beaver Creek, a mountainside destination in Avon, Colorado. It is just a few minutes from Vail and is part of a gated community. This year-round Five-star accommodation features a luxurious spa and ski-in/ski-out access.

Guests with club lounge access enjoy exclusive amenities. Some room types include private balconies with Colorado Mountain or Vail Valley views and in-room fireplaces (you should request one of these where possible), all of which embrace Rocky Mountain luxury and the adventurous, pioneering spirit of the American West. It is the perfect resort to enjoy being outside in the mountain air with campfires.

There is a delightful pool heated throughout the year and plenty of hot tubs to relax in. There is also an expensive resort fee at this resort, but it is currently completely waived for Globalists.

The Ritz-Carlton club level lounge at this Bachelor Gulch hotel features an almost endless array of beverage and culinary offerings throughout the day. Continental breakfast, lunch, light snacks, hor d’ouvres followed by dessert and cordials. Specialists from The Ritz-Carlton Spa also host weekly one-hour chair massage sessions exclusively for guests of Club Level.

2. St. Regis Aspen Resort

St. Regis Aspen Resort is a Marriott Bonvoy Rewards Category 8 hotel, a five-star luxury destination nestled at the base of Aspen Mountain. From here, you can enjoy world-class skiing or stroll over to historic Aspen, where luxury boutiques and charming restaurants beckon.

Remède Spa, their award-winning wellness destination, is renowned as one of the world’s premier hotel spas, while their heated outdoor pool and hot tubs overlook stunning Aspen Mountain. Velvet Buck presents modern mountain cuisine, and Mountain Social is the definitive après ski destination serving handcrafted cocktails. Luxury rooms, suites, and residences each feature sumptuous 400-thread-count Frette linens, spacious marble bathrooms, and custom furnishings by Ralph Lauren. Unfortunately, there is no club lounge at this Marriott property.

3. W Aspen

W Aspen is a Rewards Category 7 Marriott Bonvoy hotel and is the cheaper of the two Marriott hotels in Aspen when redeeming Marriott Bonvoy points, but once again, it doesn’t have an executive club lounge.

Nestled at the base of the world-renowned Aspen mountain, W Aspen has mountainside access to the world’s most coveted slopes and trails, stunning 360° mountain views, and striking architectural and interior design.

The hotel’s slopeside access gets you on the mountain for morning runs, and their street adjacent bike shop can get you outfitted in biking gear for any style of riding experience. Try paragliding, rock climbing, paddle boarding, and white water rafting, plus the hotel is only footsteps away from high-fashion and luxury retail.

4. Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen

Located just steps from the breathtaking grandeur of Ajax Mountain, Hyatt Residence Club Grand Aspen is a stunning property that offers luxurious features such as multiple fireplaces, private balconies, grand kitchens, spa tubs, and steam showers. The minimum check-in age is 21 at this resort, and there is, unfortunately, no executive club lounge here either, but I felt the hotel is worth a mention as it is one of the few hotels that you can book on points or earn points at in Aspen.

5. The Ritz-Carlton Denver

Denver is the nearest International Airport to Aspen, and if you fly into Denver, you may want to enjoy a night or two in the city. The Ritz-Carlton Denver is a luxurious base from which to experience the city’s numerous attractions and the best in innovative food and beverages, year-round sporting events, unforgettable arts, and world-class shopping.

The Ritz-Carlton, Denver, is nestled in the bustling lower downtown neighborhood. The hotel is the city’s longest-running AAA Five Diamond property, boasting luxuriously enhanced guest rooms, suites, meeting space, lobby, and spa oasis.

The hotel offers the city’s largest guestrooms, an unparalleled and exclusive Club Level, and ELWAY’S Downtown, an elevated dining experience.

Book a Club Room, which features free access to the club lounge, the best club lounge in Denver, for up to 2 guests. This club lounge features continuous culinary presentations throughout the day (breakfast, light snacks, hor’s d’ oeuvres, beverages, and sweets) all in a comfortable lounge setting, with distinctive Denver views and personalized service.

Accommodations on the Club Level also include complimentary high-speed Internet access, pressing, convenient boarding pass printing, and snacks and treats to-go. The Club Lounge is open daily from 7:00 am – 10:00 pm.

This Ritz-Carlton is a category 6 Marriott costing on average 50,000 Marriott Bonvoy per night if you book your stay by redeeming points.
