We review Marriott Bonvoy hotels in Newport Beach. The Marriott brand includes Luxury Collection, EDITION, St Regis, W Hotels, and JW Marriott, as well as mid-range brands like Autograph Collection, Renaissance, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Design Hotels, and Westin.
1. Lido House, Autograph Collection
Lido House, Autograph Collection is a Rewards Category 7 Marriott hotel and offers an authentic beach house experience. This is the best and most quirky Marriott in Newport beach and is sure to delight you!
Situated near Lido Marina Village and Balboa Peninsula, this hotel is perfectly positioned on the water to discover Newport Beach’s vibrant atmosphere, bustling marina, and white-sand beaches. Constructed on the site of the former City Hall, the hotel seamlessly blends classic Cape Cod-style architecture with modern California cool.
Rooms, suites, and cottages offer coastally inspired furnishings, boutique creature comforts, and scenic views of Lido Beach. Pull up a chair at The Mayor’s Table, their acclaimed restaurant serving sumptuous seafood, or sip on a handcrafted cocktail at Topside, Newport Beach’s only rooftop bar.
Wellness enthusiasts visiting Newport Beach can revive with a treatment at Boost Spa, reboot with a workout in the light-filled fitness center, or relax poolside in a shaded cabana.
2. Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa
Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa is your only Marriott Bonvoy choice in Newport Beach and it has one of the best club lounges in Newport Beach too.
This Rewards Category 5 Southern California resort is perfectly located near the shops and restaurants of Fashion Island. Guests also have easy access to Balboa Island and Corona Del Mar State Beach.
Recharge in hotel rooms and suites which feature indulgent bedding, flat-screen TVs, ample desks, Wi-Fi, and large windows that reveal inspiring views of the golf course, city, or ocean.
Concierge rooms and suites offer exclusive access to Lounge perks, including complimentary breakfasts. Upgrade to a suite for generous living rooms and furnished balconies.
There is also a restaurant, or you can grab a snack from Starbucks®. When you want to relax, pamper yourself in the hotel day spa, take a dip in the outdoor pools, or work out in the fitness center. This executive lounge is closed at weekends, but Platinum Marriott Bonvoy members get free continental breakfast in the restaurant on these days.
3. Newport Beach Marriott Bayview
Newport Beach Marriott Bayview is a Rewards Category 5 Marriott hotel and offers a superb pool overlooking the waterfront along with a lovely patio with fire pits for evening drinks.

Lounge by the refreshing outdoor pool and terrace or stop by the modern fitness center for an energizing workout. Vista.Kitchen. The bar is great for meals, featuring upscale American cuisine with innovative Southern California touches.
Spacious rooms, sleek marble bathrooms, and plush, pillowtop bedding. Given the size of the rooms at this Marriott and the gorgeous waterfront views, this Marriott may well be your best choice if you are traveling with the family. However, it doesn’t have an executive club lounge, so it is positioned below the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa, which has a lounge. This means Platinum Bonvoy members are offered a continental breakfast in the hotel restaurant instead of lounge access.
4. Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel
Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel
Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel is a Rewards Category 4 Marriott Bonvoy boutique hotel offering seamless travel with their free airport shuttle to and from John Wayne Airport-Orange County.
With a central location, easily discover premier destinations such as pristine, sandy beaches, upscale shopping at Fashion Island, and family fun at Disneyland® Park.
After soaking up the sunshine, relaxation in modern rooms and suites, where coastal-chic décor and picturesque views will delight, this Renaissance does not offer an executive club lounge. Still, Platinum Marriott Bonvoy members get free breakfast in the hotel restaurant. This is a great Marriott but lacks some of the facilities of the Marriott’s in positions one and two and three of our listing.
