Hawaii will begin easing its mandatory quarantine on August 1. According to CNN, Hawaiian Airlines said on July 1 that it would add hundreds of weekly flights to its schedule between Hawaii and the US mainland as the state government eases the strict quarantine.
Hawaiian Airlines expect to resume regular service between Hawaii and several non-west coast cities, including Boston, Las Vegas, New York, and Phoenix, as well as Oakland, San Francisco, and San Jose. The airline is also adding service between the islands and Portland, San Diego, and Sacramento.
Before Coronavirus, in 2019, Hawaii received a record-breaking 10 million tourists. Now some of these tourists will be able to travel back to the islands on hundreds of newly scheduled flights.

What are the COVID-19 Testing Requirements?
Many clients of our luxury travel concierge have already booked their August trip to Hawaii. This is the advice that Four Seasons hotels have shared with us regarding tourist requirements and restrictions for entering Hawaii:
Starting on Aug. 1, travelers to Hawaiʻi can obtain a COVID-19 test prior to arrival in lieu of the 14-day quarantine. A multi-layered testing and screening process will allow travelers to come to the islands in a way that continues to protect the health and safety of visitors and residents alike.
Beginning Aug. 1, travelers who have a valid negative COVID-19 test result prior to arriving at Hawaiʻi’s airports will not be subject to the 14-day quarantine.
The FDA-approved PCR test from a CLIA-certified laboratory must be done no more than 72 hours prior to arrival. Proof of a negative test must be shown upon arrival at the airport.
The 14-day quarantine will remain in place for those who choose not to get pre-tested. Please note that no testing will be provided upon arrival at the airport.
Upon Arrival: Procedures Are In Place to Reduce Risk
Temperature Checks: All travelers will undergo temperature screening upon arrival in Hawaiʻi.
State Traveler Health Form: Travelers will be required to fill out a health form.
Secondary Screening: If the traveler has a temperature over 100.4 degrees or is symptomatic, or if their answers on the Health Form require additional testing, they will have to go through secondary screening at the airport with trained healthcare staff.
