Book A Hotel

We review the ten best luxury hotels in UAE. We focus on beachside resorts, those inland, and in the desert. By reviewing these luxury and boutique hotels, I conclude which hotel comes in at the top and which hotel I would select as the best luxury hotel in UAE.

1. Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach

Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach captures the city’s energy and excitement in a glamorous beach resort. Equally ideal for families, couples, or high-level businesses, Four Seasons is one of Dubai’s most convenient beach hotels.

Set on a pristine, natural beach, Four Seasons Resort Dubai at Jumeirah Beach blends Arabic design with cool, contemporary style, creating an atmosphere of light, and sophisticated luxury. Two hundred thirty-seven ultra-spacious accommodations, including 49 suites, offer views of the Arabian Gulf on one side and Burj Khalifa and the downtown skyline on the other. This 5-star Dubai hotel is also home to 10 restaurants and lounges, a lavish spa, three swimming pools, and fun family activities.

Immerse yourself in the palatial lobby, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows looking out onto the beautiful gardens and Arabian Gulf. With polished marble and custom Murano chandeliers, it exudes luxury with understated elegance. Three pools, watersports, and many shopping and dining outlets provide plenty of activities to occupy all. The jewel atop the resort, the Mercury Lounge, is host to spectacular sights over both the sea and the Dubai skyline, offering romantic, uninterrupted views over the Burj Khalifa.

Wherever you are in the world, Four Seasons hotels are consistently one of the best hotels in that city or resort. There isn’t a Four Seasons loyalty program, so you will never be able to book a free stay by racking up and redeeming points, or by collecting points on your credit card and spending them at a Four Seasons hotel. It can’t be done. But you can get discounts at Four Seasons hotels and benefit from special rewards at Four Seasons hotels for no extra cost by booking your next stay via our luxury travel concierge.

2. The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah

The Chedi Al Bait Sharjah brings the history of the United Arab Emirates to life. Spread over two and a half acres. This resort is part of an Emirati conservation project. The resort’s overall design pays homage to these original four homes, and a purpose-built museum on the property tells the Al Midfa story in two generous galleries. We believe that there isn’t another hotel that demonstrates the history of the UAE with such gravitas and style.

Its 53 luxury rooms and suites, restaurants, spa, and wellness facilities are incorporated into more than a century-old heritage building. Asian-inspired design is wound about a core of the local indigenous tradition. Share Emirati gourmet favorites served family-style at The Arabic Restaurant, and find international fare from morning to evening in The Restaurant.

A sanctuary in the most real sense, The Spa at The Chedi Al Bait opens the door to traditional Middle Eastern beauty and wellness secrets while incorporating the most effective healing techniques from the Far East.

The Chedi Al Bait’s location in Sharjah is just ten miles from Dubai, and its sister hotel, The Chedi Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman, is an hour’s flight away. The Chedi Al Bait stands as Sharjah’s first luxury resort, and for the ultimate arrival, a helicopter in and lands at the hotel’s very own helipad.

3. Burj Al Arab

Burj Al Arab Jumeirah is part of the Jumeirah Group and is located on Dubai’s most renowned beach, Jumeirah Beach. Soaring 321 meters, Burj Al Arab is the world’s tallest all-suite hotel. Burj Al Arab is undoubtedly a great hotel, but some people find the level of glitz overwhelming. If you prefer less ostentatious opulence, you may prefer the Four Seasons or The Chedi Al Bait, Sharjah, outlined above. The place has so much gold that it can feel palatial, but if glitz, glamor, and over-the-top gold finishings appeal to you, you won’t find a more stunning hotel than Burj Al Arab.

With its helipad on the 28th floor and a restaurant seemingly suspended in mid-air, the hotel has already become a landmark and icon on the Dubai skyline. Comprising of 142 deluxe suites; 18 Panoramic suites; 4 Club Suites; 28 Two-Bedroom suites; 6 Diplomatic Suites; 2 Presidential Suites, and 2 Royal Suites, Burj Al Arab offers highly personalized service for every traveler, enhanced by private reception desks on every floor, in-suite check-in, and a brigade of exclusive butlers. Suites offer beautiful views over the Arabian Sea and range in size from 1800 ft² to 8400 ft²

Dining facilities include Al Mahara Seafood Restaurant; Al Muntaha Restaurant on the 27th floor; Junsui Asian Restaurant, Skyview Bar on the 27th floor; Al Iwan Restaurant on the lobby level; Bab Al Yam located by the pool and Juna Lounge on the ground floor.

There are six hotels on the premises of the Madinat. Jumeirah Al Qasr, Jumeirah Al Naseem, Jumeirah Mina A’Salam, Jumeirah Dar Al Masyaf, Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, and the Jumeirah Beach Hotel. After the Burj, mentioned above, the Madinat Jumeirah Al Qasr is one of the best hotels in UAE.

Jumeirah Al Qasr offers some of the nicest and best rooms within the Madinat Jumeirah hotel complex, showcasing Arabian Palatial luxury. Designed in the style of a Sheikh’s summer residence, palatial guestrooms decorated in the traditional Arabian style offer stunning views to the sea and the resort in opulent surroundings. This hotel is reached by traveling up an impressive driveway to the entrance.

Dubai’s longest private beach and the many facilities within Madinat Jumeirah Resort are only steps away. Souk Madinat Jumeirah features more than 80 shops, bars, and restaurants. Access to Talise Spa and Talise Fitness, tennis and squash courts, and unlimited access to Wild Wadi Waterpark™, are all available to guests.

7. Grosvenor House Dubai

The Grosvenor House Dubai is a Luxury Collection hotel and is one of the best Marriott hotels in Dubai. It has a brilliant location close to the beach, next to the marina walk. There are plenty of great bars and restaurants within the hotel, including Sidarta Lounge, Buddha Bar, Torro Torro, The Embassy, etc. The main breakfast selection at the hotel is so good that the locals and ex-pats come here for breakfast.

The Grosvenor House has excellent views of the marina from its rooms, which is a great way to wake up. Many rooms have a lovely balcony overlooking Atlantis. The club lounge is one of the best in Dubai. Overall, this is your best option if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member and are looking for luxury and the best Marriott or SPG Starwood property to earn and redeem your points, particularly if you are traveling as a couple. You also get access to all the beach and pool facilities at Le Royal Meridien via a free and regular shuttle between the two hotels, or you can just run across Al Sufouh Road between the hotels for beach access at the Royal Méridien. Alternatively, you can stick with the Grosvenor House pool, which is also excellent and tends to attract fewer children.
