Book A Hotel

Hilton has some brilliant hotels and resorts and includes the luxury brands of Waldorf Astoria, LXR Hotel & Resorts, and Conrad. The best way to get a discount, special offers, free benefits, and ultimately the cheapest rate at a Hilton hotel is to book with an elite Preferred Partner Impresario agency like our luxury travel concierge.

Impresario client programs offer extra benefits to guests who book via an Impresario agency, plus you still get all your Hilton Honors loyalty points.

If you book on the Hilton website direct, you may not get the best deal. Book your next Hilton, Waldorf Astoria, LXR Hotel & Resorts, or Conrad stay via our luxury travel concierge, and we can secure you free loyalty-style benefits on top of your own status and membership benefits, room upgrades and perks, for no extra cost.

The great thing about this is that you can get these free benefits while taking advantage of Hilton’s special offers, which you can find on their website or from our agents, who can advise on the best offers. Individual Hilton hotels and resorts will run packages that can be very attractive.

We outline how to book a Hilton hotel with a discount in more detail below:

1. Get Free Benefits With A Hilton Impresario Travel Agent

You can take advantage of our free benefits in addition to earning your Hilton points and benefiting from your Honors status. Even if you don’t have status with the Honors loyalty scheme, you will get our benefits from your very first stay at Hilton Hotels and Resorts. Book with our luxury travel agency. It really is that easy, and the rates you pay will usually be the same as those on the Hilton website.

2. Join The Hilton Honors Loyalty Program

Whether you are booking via the Hilton website direct or with our own luxury travel agency, you can collect Hilton Honors points at most Ritz-Carlton hotels, so it is worth signing up for the Hilton loyalty scheme and collecting these rewards points.

3. Book Early

Book as soon as possible and as soon as the rates come out if you can. This can be a year in advance! Last-minute discounts don’t usually happen in popular destinations, so waiting is usually not the way to go. In fact, if you book late, your ideal room may have sold out, and you could end up paying for a larger “better” room with facilities and views that you don’t really want.

This advice is relevant if you are booking via our agency, directly online, or redeeming a stay with loyalty points. If the booking is fully refundable, it is a no-brainer to book as far in advance as possible.

4. Pick Up A Discounted Stay At Our Travel Auction

Scroll through the luxury hotel stays in our luxury travel auction, which offers genuine and massive discounted hotel stays. These are one-off items, so when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Although we tend to offer some really great hotel stays worldwide, the volume of Hilton-specific stays in our auction does vary at any one time. Our auction also offers luxury stays beyond the Hilton brand, so it is worth looking around as there may be a hotel stay that you want to bid on.

5. Book Advance Purchase Rates

Are you sure about your plans and dates? If so, you should take advantage of advance purchase discounted rates. This will snag you a cheaper room at some of the best Hilton hotels in the world. Advance purchase rates offer anywhere from 10-50% discount off the usual hotel rates. Usually, there are no refunds on advance purchase rates once you have locked in the rate, so do be careful if you go for this option.

6. Avoid The Main Season

Stay at your favorite Hilton hotel or resort out of the high season. For example, Venice is massively discounted mid-winter, so you can pick up a much cheaper rate at the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice out of the main season (late May to September). Early October and early May can be the perfect time to visit Venice, and the rates tend to be much more reasonable.

You can do the same for Hawaii. Book the Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, in October or November, or May. This is one of the best Hilton hotels in Hawaii. By avoiding the main season (Winter), you are more likely to get a cheaper rate or a discounted deal.

7. Book A Brand New Hilton Hotel

Brilliant new Hilton hotels are opening all the time. Keep an eye out for one opening in a destination that you want to visit. New hotels are usually cheaper, both in paid rates and also for point redemptions.

8. Stay Shorter

It sounds obvious when you say it aloud, but I would prefer three nights at the Grand Wailea Maui, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, than a week at a Hilton in a less appealing destination. Even if you book in for one night, you can still take advantage of our early check-in and late check-out, free breakfast, resort credit, and you still get the amenity (assuming the Hilton you want to book is part of the Impresario program).

9. Promo Codes

There are corporate promo discount codes that you can use on Hilton.com, so if you are an employee of a company like Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, AAA, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of these discounts.

These discounted corporate rates can be cheaper than the Impresario benefits rates. Still, these discounted rates do not come with any valuable benefits, so these rates are not always the best deal, particularly for short stays.

As any corporate discount may not be as good as the free benefits offered by our luxury travel concierge, we suggest asking for a free quote so you can compare prices and benefits and get the full picture before booking.

10. Travel Somewhere Cheaper

Paris is always more expensive than Kuala Lumpur. Portugal and Greece tend to be cheaper than England. Much of Asia offers incredible hotels for a fraction of the price of a similar hotel in Europe or America. Shop around for a bargain destination to get a top hotel for a discounted price.
