We love the JW Marriott Venice and the JW Marriott Maldives Resort & Spa should be equally luxurious. This family friendly resort edges the azure waters of Shaviyani Atoll.
As per the Marriott website in Dec 2020, the resort can be reached via a 55-minute direct scenic seaplane flight from Velana International airport. Welcome Ambassadors welcome you and assist you to the seaplane check-in counter and accompany you to the dedicated JW Marriott seaplane lounge. The shared seaplane roundtrip transfer rate (for 2020) is $600 USD per adult and $360 USD for children up to 11 years. Prices are inclusive of 12% GST.
Seaplane operates only during day time between 6:00 am – 3:30 pm, subject to weather conditions. The maximum baggage allowance is 22 kg per passenger, and hand luggage should not exceed 3 kg in weight. Any excess luggage is charged at $5.50 USD per kg payable at the airport. For a smooth transfer, you will need to share your arrival and departure flight details with the hotel at least three days before your arrival.
