Oslo Airport (OSL) is located 35 kilometers outside Oslo in Gardermoen, Sweden. We review the best airport lounges if you fly in First or Business Class or have a Priority Pass or relevant credit card.

Unfortunately, Oslo Airport does not have a Priority Pass lounge, so you will need to have an alternate membership or be flying in Business or First Class to access one of these Oslo Airport lounges.

If you have not paid for Business Class or First Class, you can access airport lounges for free if you have an unlimited Priority Pass or an Amex Platinum card. To get bonus referral points and advice on the Platinum American Express and other free lounge access credit cards, have a read of our best credit cards for luxury travel.

1. SAS Gold Lounge

Oslo Airport’s airport lounges are mainly for passengers flying SAS Scandinavian Airlines. There are three SAS airport lounges.

SAS Gold Lounge is located one level up from gate E2. This lounge is only available to EuroBonus Diamond and Gold members or Star Alliance Gold travelers presenting a boarding pass for an SK operating or a Star Alliance partner flight departing from Oslo-Gardermoen airport.

Service includes a hot and cold snack & beverage bar (soft drinks, wine, beer), Free Wi-Fi, magazines, business amenities, phone rooms ad guest offices.

The modern lounge has a wooden floor, fun round lighting, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Plenty of benches are positioned along the wall or around round tables under the matching round lights. The buffet is good, and breakfast is tasty with bread and rolls, cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, cold cuts, eggs, etc. Overall, this is a super lounge with great food and drink.

2. SAS International Lounge

SAS International Lounge is located one level up from gate E2 (accessible by a glass lift) and is open to those who are flying in Business Class with SAS, Wideroe, or a Star Alliance airline. To get in, you scan your boarding pass. There is no credit card with lounge access that you can use to get into this lounge, but apparently, SAS passengers can buy day passes.

Service includes a snack & beverage bar (soft drinks, wine, beer), Free Wi-Fi, magazines, business amenities, phone rooms, SAS Travel Service, and a kid’s room. The modern lounge has a wooden floor, fun round lighting, and floor-to-ceiling glass windows.

Worth noting that there are also SAS Gold Lounges for Star Alliance Gold members, which are slightly nicer than this lounge, hence the position of this lounge as number 2.

3. SAS Domestic Lounge

This lounge is also located one level up from gate E2. It is only available to EuroBonus Diamond and Gold members or Star Alliance Gold travelers presenting a boarding pass for an SK operating or a Star Alliance partner flight departing from Oslo-Gardermoen airport.

Service includes a snack & beverage bar (soft drinks, wine, beer, alcoholic beverages), Free Wi-Fi, magazines, business amenities, a relaxing area, phone rooms, and guest offices.

This is the newest of the three lounges. SAS calls it a ‘next-generation lounge’, including details like an electric fireplace in one of the sitting areas.

The buffet is smart and stylish. It offers a cold buffet with a salad station, cold cuts, and a hot main dish like pasta. The drinks on offer include beer and wine on tap, alcohol-free beer in a fridge, juices, sodas, coffee, and tea.

There is a cafe section with a barista serving freshly brewed coffee, with a selection similar to Starbucks. Plus, this lounge has bathrooms and showers, making it one of the most impressive domestic lounges in the world.

Oslo Airport is a fair drive from Oslo, so it is worth considering staying at an airport hotel if your flight is early in the morning. Here are your two main choices:

4. Radisson Blu Airport Hotel

The Radisson Blu Airport Hotel is connected directly to Oslo Airport via a connecting passage, making it the best airport hotel. Windows are soundproofed, and rooms have everything you would need for a business or leisure trip. The Fit4Flight fitness center includes a golf simulator, hydromassage showers, and a sauna.

5. Scandic Oslo Airport Hotel

Scandic Oslo Airport Hotel is a five-minute drive from the airport and has two restaurants and a bar. The fitness center features an outdoor boule court, and you can rent walking poles or bikes to get around.
