Location
La Finca Resort is located in Algorfa, 73.3 kilometers from Murcia Airport Corvera and 44 km from Alicante Airport. The hotel is located in a remote and quiet spot, but is close to Alicante while being far away from the crowds. The almost luminous greens of the fairways are a stunning backdrop in an otherwise arid area. Beaches, sailing clubs, and a host of other facilities and services are just a few minutes away.
The Safari Aitana and Safari Elche are located within 45 minutes of the resort, and both have an excellent range of animals in their natural habitats. An hour’s drive will transport you to the theme and water parks. Terra Mitica is one of the largest theme parks in Spain, and Aqualandia is an exciting water park in nearby Benidorm.
There are plenty of natural parks in the local region, specifically Salinas de Sata Pola, Salinas San Pedro del Pinatar, and Salinas de Torrevieja, only 20 minutes away from the main resort.
Best Time To Visit
There’s really no wrong time to visit, and I imagine the grounds would be bewitching any time of year. This resort offers a fabulous escape to the sun at any time of the year. Summer can be crazily hot, so our preferred months to visit are May and June, September and October.
How To Get There
La Finca Golf Resort is located on the Costa Blanca, 40 minutes drive from Alicante & Murcia Airports. Twenty minutes walk off property brings you to an area with local restaurants and bars.
Style & Character
The hotel has beautifully manicured grounds. Box hedges line the pathways and green lawns dotted with luscious palm trees frame the modern architecture and the blue hues of the pool. One of the delights of this resort are its views out over the lurid green golf course that surrounds the hotel. This luscious vegetation almost feels unreal, considering the natural flora and fauna of the arid hillsides surrounding the resort.
Service & Facilities
The swimming pool here is large and deliciously cool, with plenty of sunbeds set around an immaculate brown decked area. The hotel spa has a hot tub, sauna, outdoor pool, and a range of treatments. There is also a golf school, tennis courts, paddle courts, and a fitness center.
La Finca golf course surrounding the hotel has an exceptional layout created by renowned designer Pepe Gancedo. The golf course has been brilliantly designed with several lakes with running water and reed beds, adding complexity to the game and attracting a wide variety of migratory waterbirds.
While La Finca Golf Course remains a significant reason for staying here, the fact that you can eat al fresco on the terraces, relax at the pool and spa and listen to live music late into the night is a reason in itself to choose to spend a long weekend here under the Costa Blanca sunshine.

La Finca Resort has 118 spectacular modern hotel bedrooms. Each bedroom has the privilege of panoramic views of the golf course, gardens, and swimming pool, with the Escotera Mountains and coastline in the distance.
Rooms are modern, bright, spacious, and spotless, all with terraces or balconies. These outdoor private areas offer the perfect place to relax and enjoy a morning coffee or tea in your dressing gown while enjoying the view over the swimming pool and the golf course.
Food & Drink
The hotel restaurant, Jardines La Finca, offers Mediterranean dishes in a relaxed, elegant atmosphere. The Hub bar and cafe also offers healthy snacks and a light dinner on the gorgeous terrace overlooking the golf course and beyond. La Finca Resort has a nightclub which is an absolute highlight, with a fantastic singer, a fabulous atmosphere, and a dancefloor.
La Finca Golf’s restaurant serves creative Mediterranean food. There is also a poolside garden bar and a bar-café which has a terrace with great views.
The golf clubhouse bar is not to be missed as it offers excellent and reasonable dishes, once again surrounded by the lime green fairways.
