Receive complimentary breakfast at Luxury Hotels

The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach on Oahu sits a few blocks back from the beach. But how can guests get the best deal or discount at Ritz-Carlton Waikiki?

Why Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach?

Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach has spacious high-end rooms with exquisite views from the floor to ceiling windows, and a magnificent pool area complete with sun loungers the dip their legs into the edge of the pool. When you get too hot, you can just swing around and cool your toes off in the crystal clear waters.

The views that you can enjoy from the rooms at the Ritz-Carlton Residences are breathtaking, as the hotel itself is a high-rise. There are also fantastic views from the adults-only infinity pool, which is the highest infinity pool in Waikiki. This infinity pool is a great spot to enjoy a cocktail in peace, and if you splash out on the private cabanas, you can enjoy a TV and minibar by the pool!

The Hotel has 552 Ocean view residences, starting with studios and leading up to apartments with four bedrooms, making it a great choice if you’re bringing your family or traveling in a group. Deluxe Oceanview rooms have a kitchenette, a washer, and a dryer. There’s also a hob and an empty fridge in each room, so you can stock up from the nearby ABC store with snacks.

The hotel has a number of restaurants, including Sushi Sho, as well as French and Italian eateries. To be honest, in this part of Waikiki, you are spoiled for choice in places to eat. Whip up dinner in your gourmet kitchen with Miele appliances, or savor chef Keiji Nakazawa’s omakase-style cooking at Sushi Sho.

Using the following tips, we can help you get the best deal or discount at Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach:

1. Free Benefits Are As Good As A Discount

You can maximize your discount at Ritz-Carlton Waikiki with free loyalty style benefits by booking with a luxury travel agent like our luxury travel concierge. By booking our exclusive STARS rate, you get extra benefits, including free breakfast, a free room upgrade (subject to availability), a welcome gift, and a $100 resort credit. We offer similar complimentary benefits at over 1,000 other luxury hotels across the world.

2. Join The Marriott Bonvoy Loyalty Scheme

While “there is no such thing as a free lunch”, you might as well collect what you are owed. Whether you are booking via the Ritz-Carlton website direct or with our own luxury travel agency, you can collect Marriott Bonvoy points at most Ritz-Carlton hotels, so it is worth signing up.

3. Downgrade Your Room Discount

OK, this is not exactly a discount, but it will make your stay cheaper if you book the least expensive room. Book with our luxury travel concierge, and we can get you a free room upgrade, too (subject to availability at check-in).

4. Book Early

Ritz-Carlton hotels and resorts are so popular that they often sell out. Hawaii has, in particular, seen an influx of business because COVID-19 has caused such difficulties in traveling internationally. So Ritz-Carlton doesn’t need to discount their rooms at all. The most popular nights tend to be the high season, so Christmas and New Year’s and the school holidays, as well as weekends. Sunday to Thursday in October and April usually offer the cheapest rates.

As you get closer to the dates you want to stay, the prices will undoubtedly rise. Rooms will start to sell out, often starting from the bottom room up. So you may be stuck with paying for a view that you don’t want.

5. Book Discounted Advance Purchase Rates

If you are booking in advance and are sure of your dates, you can take advantage of advance purchase discounted rates. This is one of the few ways to get you a cheaper room at the best hotels in the world. Advance purchase rates offer anywhere from 10-50% discount off the usual hotel rates. You must be sure of your dates because there are no refunds on most advance purchase rates once you have booked.

6. Change Your Holiday Dates

If you can, re-arrange your dates and plan to specifically target this Ritz-Carlton Waikiki hotel when it is cheapest and offers the best discounts. If you can travel at other times, try to avoid Christmas and New Year’s Eve. You will pay so much more during the holidays, and you can rarely take advantage of special offers or deals on these dates.

7. Stay Shorter

It sounds obvious when you say it out loud, but I would prefer three nights at an expensive Ritz-Carlton rather than a week at a cheap budget resort.

8. Book A Cheap Stay With Our Travel Auction

Right now, we have plenty of luxury hotel stays in our luxury travel auction, which offers a genuine and massive discount at certain hotels. These are one-off items, so when they’re gone, they’re gone.

Although we tend to offer some really great hotel stays around the world, the volume of Ritz-Carlton-specific stays in our auction does vary at any one time. Our auction also offers luxury stays beyond the Ritz-Carlton brand, so it is worth a look around.

9. Use Corporate Promo Codes

There are special corporate promo discount codes, so if you are an employee of a company like AAA, Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of these discounts. These codes are not widely available to the general public. In addition, the discount may not be as good as the free benefits offered by our luxury travel concierge. We suggest asking for a free quote so you can compare prices and benefits and get the complete picture before booking.

10. The Discount Is In The Location

Remember, this Ritz-Carlton Waikiki is not right on the beach, it’s a few blocks from the beach, but this is all taken into account in the price as the size and quality of the rooms at this hotel are virtually unmatched. There simply isn’t a bad room at this Ritz-Carlton. They all have fabulous views, they are all huge, and they all have balconies.
