The hotels with the best executive club lounges in Berlin include Ritz-Carlton Berlin, Berlin Marriott, Hilton Berlin, Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, InterContinental Berlin, Sheraton Grand Esplanade, and Sofitel Berlin Kurfuerstendamm.
I have compiled a list below containing the club lounges available across Berlin’s luxury hotels. I list the lounges that I consider to be the best of the best. I will be reviewing each of these hotel club lounges in detail in turn so that you know what you’ll get if you book a room with club lounge access or get upgraded to a club lounge for free because of your loyalty status.
1. The Ritz-Carlton Berlin
The Ritz-Carlton, Berlin offers 1920s glamour mixed with the modernity of Berlin’s cultural capital. Each of the 303 guest rooms, including 40 suites and a Penthouse apartment, is richly designed using a present-day interpretation of the Art Deco era, revealing a comfortable and inviting haven.
We particularly love this hotel for families. Each child is welcomed personally, given a treasure map with prizes, and invited for a nonalcoholic children’s cocktail at The Curtain Club. There is also a superb pool here, which is always handy for family fun.
There is also a brilliant executive club lounge here. The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is an oasis often referred to as a hotel within a hotel in a well-appointed, relaxed lounge environment. This Club Lounge is perfectly located on the top floor with views of the iconic Tiergarten, Berlin’s biggest park. Guests can enjoy the park’s seasonal views: a haven for experiential travelers above the rooftops of Berlin!
There are continuous culinary offerings in the lounge daily, complimentary wine, beer, and various other alcoholic beverages, a 24-hour “grab and go” station for soft drinks and coffee, a 24-hour Business Center, and a dedicated concierge staff on hand to personalize your stay. To gain access, you must book an executive club room or suite on the 10th floor.
2. Berlin Marriott
The recently refurbished Berlin Marriott Hotel is located in the heart of Berlin’s downtown in a convenient location in Berlin Mitte. Guest rooms feature plush, luxurious bedding, flat-screen TVs, and spacious work desks.
The executive lounge is excellent, with gorgeous views across Berlin. Breakfast is extensive, with both hot and cold breakfast items. There is a hot and cold buffet with a selection of complimentary wines, beers, and soft drinks in the evening.
3. Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin
Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin is located in the heart of the vibrant city of Berlin. Elegant guest rooms and 13 different suite types offer beautiful views of Berlin.
The hotel has two stylish bars and three refined restaurants for guests to enjoy. The illustrious Restaurant Quarré has a summer terrace, and the two-Michelin-starred Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer impresses with inspiring menus and spectacular views of Brandenburg Gate. Walk under the Brandenburg Gate to get to Tiergarten Park, with its landscaped gardens, visit the Zoo, or stroll toward Museum Island to experience beautiful cafés and historic sites.
There is an excellent executive lounge at this Kempinski hotel with a fireplace, a comfortable chair, a stylish ambiance, and food and drink offerings throughout the day.
4. InterContinental Berlin
Yet another great club lounge can be found at the InterContinental Berlin. The upscale InterContinental® Berlin hotel sits next to leafy Tiergarten Park, a pleasant walk from the iconic Brandenburg Gate. Choose an elegant room or spacious suite, swim in the inviting indoor pool, and indulge in a treatment at SPA InterContinental. After work, sip cocktails in the Marlene Bar and experience gourmet dining in a chic 14th-floor restaurant with panoramic city views.
The club lounge is located on the 8th floor, with great views. The lounge serves breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening canapes and drinks. Within the club lounge, there’s a buffet and a la carte breakfast in the morning. In the afternoon, there is tea, sandwiches, and cakes. There’s a selection of spirits in the evening, including Chopin vodka, Hendrick’s gin, Champagne, beer, and wine. Food includes hot and cold canapes and a limited buffet with a selection of cheeses, bread, dips, and veggies. Not enough for a full meal, but nice for nibbles. Throughout the day are snacks and hot and cold self-serve drinks.
5. Hilton Berlin
While The Waldorf Astoria Berlin is the best Hilton in Berlin, Diamond members only get premium Internet access in the lobby and free Wi-Fi in the room but no club lounge access. If you are looking for an executive club lounge, you need to stay at one of the Hilton hotels in Berlin.
This Hilton Berlin has a brilliant executive lounge which provides breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening drinks and canapés, two meeting rooms, and attractive dark wood modern decor. The hotel also offers a small spa and gym with a pool.
6. Sheraton Grand Esplanade
Within the Marriott brand, the Ritz-Carlton, Marriott, and Sheraton in Berlin have executive club lounges, but the Hotel is Steinplatz, Autograph Collection, Westin Grand, and Hotel Luc, Autograph Collection do not. If you get free lounge access with your loyalty membership, you will want to either stay at the Sheraton or the Marriott, as these are the only two Marriott-branded hotels that will give you free club lounge access.
The Sheraton Berlin Grand Hotel Esplanade is an urban oasis of sleek design in the heart of the city’s cultural district.
The club lounge here is on the ground floor and is a stylish space, although it lacks the views of some of the lounges featured above. The look is smart, with a parquet floor and elegant leather armchairs, seats, and tables. The breakfast buffet is not massive but has everything you need, and the evening food is accompanied by free wine and beer.
7. Hotel Palace Berlin
The Hotel Palace Berlin, a member of Leading Hotels Of The World, is located in the vibrant heart of Berlin, between the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, the Kurfuerstendamm, and the legendary KaDeWe department store. In just a few minutes by public transportation, guests can easily reach Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Berlin trade fair.
Guest rooms and luxurious suites provide the utmost comfort and meet all the needs of today`s travelers. The Palace Club Floor, with its exclusive Lounge and Club Floor guest rooms, creates a contemporary, elegant atmosphere, offering an attractive and relaxing environment for those who appreciate discretion, comfort, and individual personal service.
After a day of sightseeing or business, the Lobby Lounge is the perfect place for enjoying afternoon tea or international fare for lunch or dinner. More than 150 premium varieties of gin are served in the House of Gin.
