Zurich is a gorgeous city. Stroll through the cobblestone streets of Old Town and admire medieval architecture on your way to upscale shopping at Bahnhofstrasse or walk around the borders or even have a swim in Lake Zurich.
Ritz-Carlton hotels are often some of the best Marriott Bonvoy hotels in an area. They also tend to offer the best club lounges. While there are some truly gorgeous Ritz-Carlton hotels, there isn’t one in Zurich. There are also no Four Seasons in Zurich either, although there is a Four Seasons in Geneva, which is one of the best luxury hotels in Geneva.

1. Neues Schloss Privat Hotel Zurich, Autograph Collection
Neues Schloss Privat Hotel Zurich, Autograph Collection is located in the town of Zurich, with Lake Zurich just outside the door. Located in the heart of the financial and business district and only a few steps away from Lake Zurich and the lively city center, the hotel has a cozy, if generic, atmosphere. Within the hotel, pasta lovers will enjoy the Herbs Pasta & Bar, but there is no executive club lounge at this Marriott Bonvoy hotel. Worth mentioning this Marriott Bonvoy does not offer an executive club lounge.
2. Zurich Marriott Hotel
Zurich Marriott Hotel is a Rewards Category 6 Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Zurich with stunning lake views and nice decor. It is not in the ideal location as it is at the far side of the main station from the Old Town and town center, but everything remains walkable, so you are fairly central.
Nestled downtown along the banks of the Limmat River, this hotel offers the flavors of Switzerland or savor Thai dishes at their restaurants. Unwind at their New York-inspired bar featuring rare whiskeys and a smoker’s lounge with premium cigars before retiring to your room with contemporary decor, pillowtop beds, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and flat-panel TVs.
Upgrade to a suite and enjoy more space and access to their M Club executive club Lounge.
3. Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel
Renaissance Zurich Tower Hotel is located in the heart of Downtown Zurich West.
Whether you are traveling to Zurich on business or for leisure, the hotel offers good value accommodation with complimentary Internet. The location is some way out of town, up the river in the wrong direction from the Zurich Marriott Hotel, making the Zurich Marriott Hotel a better choice if you are sightseeing.
Spacious hotel rooms and suites are comfortably equipped and offer panoramic views. The Executive club lounge offers complimentary food and beverages, and the hotel offers a fitness, sauna, and steam bath area.
Enjoy tasty dishes at the EQUINOX Grill Restaurant or sit back and relax in their LUCID Bar & Lounge and savor a cocktail, drink, or snack. The “Upperdeck” is one of the highest and most exclusive event locations in Zurich, located on the 15th floor overlooking Zurich’s skyline.
4. Sheraton Zurich Hotel
Sheraton Zurich Hotel is creating its own young and cosmopolitan neighbourhood with its bar NUOVO or at the Route 26 Steakhouse in Zurich West district. The city center and the central station are only a few minutes away by tram, but this hotel lacks the city center location of the other Sheraton in Zurich.
The tram station Toni-Areal is located directly in front of the hotel to get about, and the best cozy rooms and suites have impressive views over Zurich. The kiosk in the lobby gives you the opportunity to buy a wide range of snacks and beverages 24 hours a day. Worth mentioning this Marriott Bonvoy hotel does not offer an executive club lounge.
5. Four Points by Sheraton Sihlcity
Four Points by Sheraton Sihlcity is located between Uetliberg and Lake Zurich. This architectural masterpiece was created by merging historic buildings with the most modern urban character for the rooms.
On the ground floor, their newly opened L’Amant Brasserie & Bar pamper guests with Franco-Asian dishes where above meetings take place above the rooftops in light-flooded rooms. Whether on foot or by bus and tram, from here, you can quickly reach Zurich, but this out-of-town location means that this hotel is fairly inconvenient for a leisure trip to Zurich.
Worth mentioning this Marriott Bonvoy category four hotel does not offer an executive club lounge.
6. Kameha Grand Zurich, Autograph Collection
Kameha Grand Zurich, Autograph Collection is our favorite and the best budget or non-luxury Marriott in Zurich. This Rewards Category 4 hotel is a member of the Autograph Collection, a brand of the world’s largest hotel chain Marriott.
The Kameha Grand is a prime example of the credo of the Autograph Collection Hotels: “Exactly like nothing else.” A lifestyle hotel for discerning business travelers and events with impressive architecture and festive and unpredictable decors, rounded off with numerous Swiss-inspired design elements.
The 245 rooms and suites designed by Marcel Wanders integrate “Swissness” in an impressive manner. The Kameha Grand sets further accents with 11 themed suites that are individually furnished – from a gentleman’s suite with a roulette table to a workout suite with a treadmill and dumbbells.
Seven different-sized banqueting rooms set the stage for memorable events. The heart of the hotel is the “Kameha Dome,” which already impresses with its sheer size of over 700 m², ideal for large-scale conferences, galas, and social gatherings.
This Marriott Bonvoy category four hotel does not offer an executive club lounge, nor is it well located. It is, in fact, found near the airport and is quite a distance from the center of Zurich.
7. Courtyard Zurich North
Courtyard Zurich North is in Oerlikon near the airport and 7 minutes by public transport from Zurich downtown as it is just a 3-minute walk from Zurich Oerlikon Station. Many companies, Hallenstadion, and the fairground are within walking distance.
Of course, airport hotels are not in the city center, which is why this hotel is not the best Marriott in Zurich and comes at the bottom of our list. It is, however, a fairly decent hotel with a fresh, contemporary style, plush bedding, and black-out curtains.
There is a gym and a Kitchen & Bar, with a current, seasonal, and inviting all-day food & beverage service. Worth mentioning this Marriott Bonvoy category four hotel does not offer an executive club lounge.
