Which is the best club or executive lounge at the best luxury hotels in Baku? Usually, the Ritz-Carlton or InterContinental offers the best club lounge in a city or resort, and there is a very good Ritz-Carlton in Baku, which is our top pick. There is also an excellent InterContinental, and the JW Marriott is also very good in Baku.

If you’re a luxury traveler, we recommend trying the impressive Four Seasons Baku, which is the best luxury hotel in Baku. In our opinion, if staying in a hotel without a club lounge isn’t a deal breaker. Straddling the Middle East, Europe, and Asia, the enigmatic capital of Azerbaijan sits on the coast of the opal-blue waters of the Caspian Sea, with the Caucasus Mountains to the west. The Four Seasons Baku is a beaux-arts–style hotel perched along the waterfront in the heart of central Baku. Medieval walls of the Inner City are just steps away, and a trio of flame-shaped, modern skyscrapers flicker nearby. It’s a contrast that perfectly sums up this evolving city: ancient, modern, and a little daring, all at once. Enjoy breakfast on the terrace at Zafferano, followed by a relaxing treatment in their sun-lit penthouse Spa.

You may or may not know that if you book a stay at any luxury hotel in Baku using an official Preferred Partner agent like our own luxury travel concierge, you will get two free breakfasts along with other fantastic benefits such as a delicious welcome gift, a prioritized room upgrade (subject to availability) and $100 resort credit.

1. Best Club Lounge: Ritz-Carlton Baku

This is easily the best club lounge in Baku. After exploring the best of the city, steps away from the hotel’s stunning tower and abundant gardens, take advantage of the complimentary amenities that await Club Level guests.

Club Level guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Baku, have access to the exclusive club lounge on the 13th floor, where a devoted Concierge caters to guests’ needs in a warm and refined environment. You can see from the photograph above that this club lounge offers a classy setting. Guests of the club lounge can also enjoy a dedicated concierge, private check-in and check-out in the Club Lounge, a Business Center, complimentary two-hour use of a meeting room, five complimentary food and beverage presentations throughout the day, complimentary Wi-Fi and complimentary pressing of two garments per day.

They say: “Enjoy spectacular views of Baku with space to relax and unwind, locally inspired culinary delights throughout the day, and thoughtful amenities such as a private room for meetings and calls.”

2. InterContinental Baku

Located in the city’s vibrant heart, InterContinental® Baku, which opened in May 2021, is just steps away from Icheri Sheher, Baku’s Old Town, a historical UNESCO Heritage site, and Baku Boulevard, laced with luxury boutiques. Shirvanshakh Palace and Maiden Tower are true representations of Azerbaijan’s architecture. A place to meet is Fountain Square and Port Baku Mall. Featuring elegantly designed rooms and a SPA with an indoor pool, the InterContinental Baku makes a relaxing base for exploring the magnificent city on the Caspian Sea.

The club lounge is an interesting design with arched ceilings, whimsical light fixtures, and dark blue and rust furnishings. The lounge also had a thin terrace outdoors where you can enjoy the city skyline or have a smoke.

A plentiful breakfast is offered in the lounge with a small array of cold buffet items and the option to order a hot omelet. The afternoon tea is delivered on a layered tray. For a happy hour, there are plentiful drinks and a limited snack menu offering croissant sandwiches and nachos, which are quite small in size. While the ambiance is nice, the offering isn’t enough to fill you up. The drinks on offer are excellent and include Moet & Chandon champagne.

3. JW Marrott Baku

The lounge at the JW Marriott Baku serves a lengthy breakfast from early til late. In the afternoon, they offer a generous selection of canapes, salads, desserts, and alcoholic drinks. In the evening there are snacks and alcoholic drinks in the early evening. The food here is enough to fill you up, which is an advantage over the InterContinental lounge above and puts these lounges on an even par. Facilities here include plenty of sofas and dining tables as well as a business center, including a small meeting room.

4. Fairmont Baku Flame Towers

Reviews suggest that this Gold lounge does not open until 11 in the morning, and the service isn’t great with old food being left on tables. The food is meant to be good but overall, this lounge takes our number 4 position in this listing.
