Which are the best Marriott Hotels In Jinan: Sheraton Vs. Four Points? There’s plenty of choice within the Marriott brand, including top brands like the Luxury Collection, EDITION, St Regis, W Hotels, and JW Marriott, as well as mid-range brands like their Autograph Collection, Renaissance, Sheraton, Le Meridien, Design Hotels, and their Westin collections. In Jinan, there is just a Sheraton and a Four Points by Sheraton. Sadly, there is no Ritz-Carlton and no Four Seasons in Jinan, Shandong.
Jinan is the capital of eastern China’s Shandong province. It is a large city known for its many natural springs, including the park-enclosed Baotu Spring. Daming Lake and its landscaped islands and parkland with temples are a highlight for tourists, as is the modern Shandong Museum, which displays a huge collection of provincial artifacts, including those from the Ming dynasty.
1. Sheraton Jinan
Sheraton Jinan is not the best luxury hotel in Jinan, but it is the best Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Jinan. Strategically located at the East New Town, the center of Jinan’s new central business district, just minutes away from the new Olympic Sports Centre. There are four restaurants and lounges at Sheraton Jinan Hotel, ranging from casual to fine-dining or enjoying a refreshing cocktail at the Connation lobby lounge.
The executive club lounge at Sheraton Jinan on level 22 is reportedly very good and large, with plenty of breakfast and evening snacks. To get an idea of what to expect with regards to style and food, and drinks, have a read of our review of the club lounge at the Sheraton Grand in London.
2. Four Points by Sheraton Tai’an
Four Points by Sheraton Tai’an is the other Marriott Bonvoy hotel in the local area, and this Rewards category 1 hotel is a great price! You get a comfortable bed, a delicious breakfast, and fresh coffee.
You will also find free Wi-Fi, free bottles of water in your room, great local beer with Best Brews, and much more. This hotel is located at the foot of Mount Tai with easy access to High-Speed Train services(CRH) to Shanghai and Beijing and the national expressway network connecting to Qingdao. Jinan Yaoqiang International Airport is 120 km away.
