Which Hotels Have The Best Executive Or Club Lounges In Singapore?
I have compiled a list below containing the club lounges available across luxury hotels in Singapore. I list the ones I consider to be the best at the top. I will be reviewing each of these Singapore hotel club lounges in detail so that you know what you will get if you book a room with club lounge access.
1. The Fullerton Hotel Singapore
The Fullerton Hotel in Singapore is a great luxury hotel choice. It is located at the mouth of the Singapore River and is a mass of grand staircases, high ceilings, and marble. Super classy! This area was originally the heart of colonial Singapore. A nearby footbridge dates back as far as 1870.
When you stay here, you are a three-minute walk from the boat quay, which offers a lively nightlife with many restaurants and bars. Beyond Boat Quay, other quays again offer great options for nightlife. Chinatown and Little India are also close by if you take public transport.
This hotel is magnificent, with a pillared frontage, historic dining rooms, and glorious waterfront views. The surrounding skyscrapers actually dwarf the hotel but offers a nice slice of history on the waterfront.
The rooms are extremely generous in size, as are the bathrooms, but the highlight for me here is the pool, which is infinity in design on floor two and has great views of the river and bay.
The Straits Club Lounge at the Fullerton elevates your luxury stay further by offering breakfast, including champagne breakfast (Veuve Cliquot), afternoon tea, and evening drinks and snacks all for free if you book a club room. Crucially, our concierge can get access to this lounge included in your room booking for free.
The food at breakfast, tea, and cocktails in the evening is extensive and should fill you up. There are daily specials at each mealtime, and as you would expect from a hotel of this caliber, the food quality and the array are excellent. Although it is lovely to take advantage of these freebies, it is worth popping up to the rooftop bar to take in the views at least once during your stay.
From the rooftop Lantern Bar at the Fullerton Hotel, you can actually look out to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore with its ridiculous rooftop pool that spans the breadth of the top of three buildings. It’s quite something to look at.
They say: “The Straits Club offers the ultimate service experience to discerning travelers by providing premium accommodation and the highest level of quality and comfort. Guests of The Straits Club enjoy privileges that include round-the-clock personalized service, in-room registration, a complimentary daily Chandon breakfast, afternoon tea, evening canapés, and cocktails in a dedicated lounge with a vintage Peranakan décor featuring Straits Chinese artifacts. Other privileges include preferred laundry rates, pressing service for up to two clothing items, and late check-out (subject to availability). To accommodate guests’ meeting needs, a meeting room for up to six persons may be availed for two hours.”
2. Mandarin Oriental Singapore
Mandarin Oriental Singapore is a brilliant luxury hotel choice, not only for its club lounge but also for the incredible views from floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms. Your view will be either of the bay, the ocean, or the city. These views, along with the contemporary design with a stylish Oriental flair, make this luxury hotel a great choice.
The building’s design is an uninteresting one compared to some of the other hotel options in Singapore, but the interior is breathtaking.
A nice feature of this hotel is the walkway that connects the hotel to The Marina Square Mall, which has loads of shops, restaurants, cafés, and bars. Theatres and the Suntec Conference and Exhibition Centre are also a short walk away. Orchard Road shops are about 15 minutes away by taxi.
The rooftop pool is an absolute highlight of this hotel, with comfy loungers, tropical plants dotted about, and fountains spurting into the pool area.
This hotel is enormous, with 527 rooms and suites. The exclusive Oriental Club Lounge, located on the 19th floor, enjoys panoramic views of the Singapore skyline. The lounge has a contemporary Asian feel with floor-to-ceiling windows, wood floors, and elegant furnishings.
Guests on the four executive floors of The Oriental Club enjoy attractive benefits such as daily Champagne breakfast, evening cocktails, late check-out until 6:00 pm, complimentary internet access, a selection of three room types, and more.
They have a strict child policy here. The lounge is open to guests aged 12 years and older staying on their Club floor. Smart and casual attire is also required.

3. The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore
The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is a peaceful, exclusive retreat for leisure guests and business travelers. Located on the top floor, The Ritz-Carlton Club Lounge is an exclusive space for guests to work or play while enjoying spectacular views of the Singapore skyline. It features dedicated concierge services and five daily culinary presentations throughout the day. Club guests are invited to enjoy refined cuisine and unique experiential activities or simply unwind.
The Club Lounge is open from 6:30 am – 11:30 pm daily. Breakfast is an excellent spread of fresh fruit, pastries & other baked goods, smoked salmon with all the trimmings, and several hot offerings. In the evening, expect cocktails & substantial hors d’oeuvres along with chocolates, dessert & cordials/drinks. The offerings are varied & substantial, more than enough to fill you up.
Clubroom and suite guests enjoy personalized check-in and check-out service and a dedicated Club concierge service. Guests may also enjoy a complimentary limousine drop-off service within the vicinity.
Guests below 12 years of age are welcome between 6:30 am – 6:00 pm, unlike the Mandarin Oriental, where kids are not allowed if they are under 12 years old.
4. InterContinental Singapore
Intercontinental Singapore is a grand hotel near the Marina Bay Sands Hotel and the central business district. Expect enormous chandeliers dangling from high ceilings, Slightly gaudy carpeting in places, and a slightly old-fashioned look, but overall a classic style and sophisticated feel. Doors and tiling, in particular, have intricate designs on them.
Rooms have been put together with a more classic style and less detailing. They have decent-sized bathrooms with black and white tiling and local toiletry products.
The pool is an absolute highlight of this InterContinental. It is located on the rooftop with comfortable padded loungers placed on the decking, shaded slightly by tropical trees.
InterContinental Singapore has a spacious private club lounge. The look is oriental with decorative dark wood doors, light wood flooring, and furnishings with Oriental design and detailing. Plenty of rugs are used with a pinky hue, and the detailing on the dark wood doors is continued with screens offering the same Oriental detailing separating sitting areas within the lounge.
There is a dining area with seating and dining tables near the buffet, whilst the rest of the lounge has more relaxing sofa-style seating. The views are not particularly noteworthy here, but the food is good. In this lounge, you get a free breakfast, afternoon tea, and happy hour with canapés.
Breakfast is expansive with fresh and dried fruit, honey straight from the hive, the usual jams etc., cereals, charcuterie cheeses, hams, and bread. A la carte eggs and pancakes can be ordered from the table like eggs Benedict and so forth, along with Asian dresses like dim sung.
Afternoon tea is scones and jam with a selection of sandwiches and sweet cakes, along with tea and other soft drinks. The afternoon tea is delivered on a tiered tray, much like the afternoon tea at the InterContinental in London.
The happy hour offers particularly good cocktails, including the classic Singapore Sling. You can also choose from wines, beers, and spirits with mixers.
A self-service buffet during happy hour also has substantial snacks like sushi, Cheeses, fruit, shrimp, and desserts like tiramisu and cheesecake. Plus, a set of three small warm canapés are delivered with your drinks.
I particularly liked the homemade Belgian-style chocolate placed on a layered display case. They are good enough to take a couple back to your room in your handbag.
To access this lounge, you need to book a room with Club InterContinental access, and then your key card will give you access. This lounge’s cost is around 60 Singapore dollars per night, and you can upgrade at check-in if you like.
5. Shangri-La Hotel
Nestled amidst 15 acres of lush greenery near the vibrant Orchard Road shopping belt, Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore offers a tranquil urban retreat for business and leisure travelers alike. Renowned for its exceptional hospitality, the hotel is consistently voted as one of the best in the world.
The hotel features 792 luxurious guestrooms and suites across three distinct wings, as well as 182 spacious serviced apartments and residences. The Shangri-La Hotel Singapore offers one of the widest selections of culinary experiences and the most comprehensive family-friendly facilities among local hotels. To get access to the Horizon Club Lounge, you need to book a Horizon Club Deluxe Room with a marble bathroom, which has a separate shower and bathtub and L’Occitane Jasmine toiletries. These rooms have a view of the pool or city and are located within the newly renovated Tower Wing. You can then unwind in the exclusive Horizon Club Lounge on the 24th floor and enjoy a breakfast buffet, evening cocktails, and priority check-in and check-out.
The Horizon Club Lounge is the perfect place to take in the panoramic city views from the 24th floor. A hot breakfast buffet and afternoon tea are available daily, and canapés are served during the evening cocktail hour. Horizon Club guests at the Tower Wing may enjoy an array of personalized services such as priority check-in and check-out and concierge assistance. Children below the age of 12 years are allowed into this lounge, but they must be accompanied by an adult.
It’s worth noting that children of registered hotel guests under the age of 6 can enjoy buffet meals at no extra cost in the All Day Dining venue when accompanied by a paying adult (up to 2 children).
6. Four Seasons Singapore
The Four Seasons Singapore is one of the top hotels in Singapore. Located on the tranquil, tree-lined Orchard Boulevard, Four Seasons Hotel Singapore provides a welcome oasis of calm in the midst of the city’s bustle. Twenty-five minutes from the airport, the hotel is strategically located steps away from the shopping, entertainment, and business belt of Orchard Road and Singapore’s first UNESCO World Heritage site – Singapore Botanic Gardens.

Four Seasons Singapore has a wonderful indoor pool and spa and gym, a guarantee of luxury rooms and service, a truly glorious example of a historic hotel in Singapore. However, it does not have a club lounge, where everything is free once you have paid for the access and are through the door. Although we cannot offer free club lounge access at this Four Seasons hotel, we can book you in with some incredible benefits.
7. Rendezvous Hotel in Singapore
This hotel is not quite at the level of the Mandarin Oriental, InterContinental, or Fullerton above. Still, it remains an excellent choice in an excellent location with a cheaper price tag. The club lounge at the Rendezvous Hotel in Singapore is a decent size with a decent eating area.
Gain access by booking a club room, which is located at the top of the hotel near the lounge. Because these rooms are at the top of the hotel, they have a better view than the rest of the rooms in the hotel. Breakfast is limited but of high quality. Canapés snacks and drinks are also available in the evening, including alcoholic drinks like wine, beer, and spirits.
Rendezvous Hotel is an A.R.T. inspired hotel. The hotel is located at the start of Bras Basah Road, Close to Raffles, and within walking distance of Orchard Road, where all the shops are located. Alternatively, if it is too hot and humid, you can take public transport from right outside the hotel to Orchard Road. The Bras Basah Bencoolen MRT station is just outside the hotel. The MRT Station means that it’s easy to get around and visit the exclusive Marina Bay Sands hotel and the other iconic landmarks of Singapore.
Each floor in the hotel has a different arty style, so not all rooms are the same even though they are a similar size. The room decor is largely mushroom and cream, but the hotel has added some brightly colored furnishings, which is “just” the look. Bathrooms have also been refurbished and look classy.

8. Singapore Hilton
Located along the famous Orchard Road, the Hilton Singapore is a good option if you are a Hilton HHonors Diamond Member. The Executive Rooms at the Hilton Singapore are located on higher floors (levels 20 and 21) and come with Executive Lounge access. They have a Nespresso Coffee Machine, but are similar to other rooms in the hotel. The Executive Plus room (one room type above the Executive Room) comes with a private balcony with a seating area on floor 22.
The breakfast is decent, and the cocktail hour offers alcoholic and soft drinks along with a small selection of hot food, salads, cold cuts, and desserts from 5:30 – 7:30 pm. Book a club room here with our concierge to get club lounge access.
9. The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore

The St. Regis Singapore has no Club Lounge but is superbly located in the heart of the prestigious downtown, with 299 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites. 12. Fairmont Singapore
Book a Fairmont Gold room and you have access to this exceotional lounge which offers daily breakfast and evening cocktails with refreshments. The Fairmont Gold Lounge located on Level 25 (South Tower) offers an unparalleled view of the harbour and Singapore’s skyline with an expansive space for guests to interact, work and play.
This lounge has a large food station and bar area and hige floor to ceiling windows, although when you are sitting on the sofa seats, the view is blocked by a frosted balcony so you need to stand up or sit on an elevated bar stool to make the most of the views from this lounge.
It is worth noting that this lounge is reserved for guests above the age of 12 years between 5:30pm to 7:30pm, so if you have children, I would pick a more child friendly lounge like the lounge at the Four Seasons Singapore.
Which Is The Best Lounge Overall?
When deciding which hotel to choose for your stay in a city like Singapore, it is sensible to consider the added extras provided by a hotel club lounge. Offerings usually include complimentary drinks and snacks throughout the day, breakfast in the morning, and evening cocktails with canapés. Often, the evening food and drink offering is more than enough to replace the need to go out for the evening.
Club or executive hotel lounges provide an interesting environment in which to work and relax. Although holding meetings in the main lounge is more friendly, some lounges also provide dedicated meeting rooms. When I travel on my own for business, I’m not particularly eager to sit in restaurants on my own. Room service is also a lonely affair, so a club lounge provides the ideal environment to enjoy good food and atmosphere while being completely comfortable sitting at a table for one.
The clubrooms themselves are often a little bigger and offer more luxurious facilities than standard rooms, with more space, plus they are often on higher floors with better views.
Finally, executive and club benefits are great for early check-in / late check-out, as you can often stay in the club lounge room with all the benefits in the afternoon if you have a late flight. Conversely, you can use the club lounge and executive facilities from early in the morning if you arrive early and your room isn’t ready.
Our vote goes to The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, followed by the Ritz-Carlton and the Mandarin Oriental. These lounges are superior to most of the other lounges in Singapore. Of course, the Fullerton lounge is free if you book with our concierge, which usually makes it the best deal.
