Sublime Lisboa is a hidden gem in the heart of the Amoreiras neighborhood of Lisbon, surrounded by enchanting gardens, museums, historical monuments, and an Aqueduct.
Location
This sophisticated yet relaxed luxury boutique hotel is found on a tree-lined avenue, a twenty-minute walk from the downtown area of Lisbon with the designer shops of Avenida Liberdade, and equally a 20-minute walk from the waterfront. Lisbon airport is super close, just a quarter of an hour away by taxi.
Style & Character
Sublime Lisboa opened in 2022 and is an elegant boutique hotel situated in a 20th-century townhouse that has been thoughtfully refurbished. This boutique hotel comprises just 15 beautiful rooms and suites embodying Portuguese style. Downstairs is the hotel’s restaurant, which has a separate entrance and a small hall lobby.
What makes this hotel stand out is the attention to detail, the unique light fittings and headboards, and the general love that has been devoted to creating such a unique hotel.
Rooms
The colors used within each room hint at the Art Deco era with colorful mustard, turquoise, and red walls and wooden floors decorated with plush rugs. Slatted doors provide detailing to mirrors and separate bedrooms from living areas. Generous windows offer street and treetop views. We particularly like the room at the top of the house. Set in eaves, this room has a private deck framed by greenery to sun yourself on.
Service & Facilities
Whilst staying at the hotel, guests have access to an array of wellness opportunities, including Club VII, a fully equipped gym with a 25-meter-long pool, sauna, Turkish bath, Kids Club, and racket club.
If you are looking for a little relaxation for body and mind, Sublime Lisboa, has created a special “in-room” menu, allowing guests to experience a timeless collection of services, including facials, body treatments, and massages.
Finally, the hotel also features a Studio offering Pilates, Mat Pilates in groups, Yoga, and massage, amongst other therapies – it’s a place of creation, inspiration, and comfort.
Food & Drink
The hotel’s Davvero restaurant and bar serves delicious, rich Mediterranean flavors in a stylish setting with blue and red seats perched on tiled floors. The food is freshly harvested with artisanal ingredients, mouthwatering spaghetti, and local fish dishes. Tables spill out onto the pavement so you can eat alfresco on summer nights.
Breakfast is à la carte, with continental and delicious egg dishes on offer.
Conclusion
This boutique hotel does not offer the facilities of a large branded hotel, but it offers a guest experience showcasing the true heart of Lisbon. The quirky decor embraces guests providing the perfect Lisbon homestead. The delicious restaurant downstairs, means you don’t need to cook!
