Book A Hotel

Which is the best Marriott Bonvoy hotel in Copenhagen? We have already reviewed the best Marriott hotels in Europe. Now, we look at Copenhagen.

All these hotels are either Marriott hotels or a subsidiary of Marriott. If you want to stay in an ultra-luxury hotel, there’s no Four Seasons or Ritz-Carlton in Copenhagen, so you must pick one of the three luxury properties below to stay in a Marriott Bonvoy hotel.

If you want to spread your wings beyond the Marriott brand, Hotel d’Angleterre, Hotel Sanders and Nimb boutique hotel are all worth a try.

You could alternatively cruise on the Ritz-Carlton Yacht to Copenhagen. Ritz-Carlton Yacht Ilma has a cruise from Copenhagen to Stockholm, departing July 24, 2025. This 7-night cruise starts in Copenhagen and visits many UNESCO treasures surrounding the Baltic Sea, including the 17th-century naval port of Karlskrona, the 18th-century fortress guarding Helsinki, and the medieval Old Town of Tallinn. We have detailed how much a Ritz-Carlton cruise costs.

The best way to book a Ritz-Carlton Yacht journey is to contact our luxury travel concierge, who will provide you with an itinerary and price. We match the prices of booking directly and will always make sure we offer something extra, just as we do with our luxury hotel bookings. You also get all your usual Marriott Bonvoy points and perks when you book via our concierge.

1. Nobis Hotel Copenhagen

Nobis Hotel Copenhagen, a Member of Design Hotels™ has an excellent location right next to Tivoli Gardens, Hovedbanegården, Rådhuspladsen and the internationally recognized Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek, so you have all the city’s biggest sights within walking distance and can enjoy the capital on foot. At the same time, you can explore and live surrounded by Scandinavian architecture in this historic building from 1903.

The interior has been designed in collaboration with the Swedish star architect Gert Wingårdh, producing an elegant and timeless feel. We reccomend visiting Copenhagen in November and December for its magnificent Christmas Markets.

2. The Socialist, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

The Socialist, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is a tiny boutique hotel housed in a former transformer station with 31 rooms and suites, as well as a restaurant, bar, lounge, wine cellar, and roof terrace.

Whether the shopping of Stroget or the attractions of Tivoli; the buzz of Vesterbro and the freedom of Christiania. Guests can discover the rich diversity of Copenhagen, all in near proximity.

At Bobo Food Studio, the restaurant, bar, lounge, and terrace, life pulsates 24/7 with breakfast, lunch, dinner, late snack, cocktails served throughout. They have you covered with everything from a quick bite to an experimental tasting menu.

3. Copenhagen Marriott Hotel

Copenhagen Marriott Hotel lacks the design and flair offered by the other two hotels in this listing. The hotel is a good Marriott with one of the best club lounges in Copenhagen, but it is set in a stark, modern block that lacks soul or character. Rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows and generic decor.

The Central Station is also within a 10-minute walk, while Copenhagen Kastrup Airport is a 15-minute drive away. Unlike the rest of the hotel, which is currently undergoing renovation, the Executive Lounge on the ground floor is a beautiful and bright space with dark wood floors and lots of dark wood bookcases on the walls, and it has a natural and stylish feel. The food is decent, and the setting is enjoyable. The lounge is your main reason to stay at this hotel.
