While St Regis, Ritz-Carlton & W Bonvoy brands are the most expensive Marriott hotels, pick a Westin, Delta, Sheraton, or Marriott, and your stay will be cheaper. Even cheaper are brands like Courtyard, Four Points, and SpringHill Suites, which are also part of the Marriott Bonvoy brand, but these are not luxury and are not brilliant hotels.
Bulgari Hotel Milan is the best Marriott hotel in Milan and one of the best luxury hotels in Milan along with Four Seasons Milan which also features in our best Four Seasons hotels in the world.
Neither the Four Seasons or the Bulgari Milan are cheap. Usually, room rates come in at around €2,000 EUR per night. This eyewatering price is worth it as both these hotels are exquisite. If your budget doesn’t run to this, the two hotels we have picked below remain super stylish and slightly more reasonably priced.

1. Duo Milan Porta Nuova, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel
Duo Milan Porta Nuova, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel is great for its modern take on Italian style.
This hotel has been completely renovated and is located in Porta Nuova, Milan’s trendiest district. Two hundred thirty-nine rooms and suites feature vibrant colors and unexpected details. There’s an informal bistrot with Italian and international cuisine, and a fantastic top-floor panoramic Peruvian lounge & restaurant will open in mid-2024. Add in a courtyard, a fully equipped fitness center, and five meeting rooms, and you have all the ingredients for the perfect luxury hotel stay.
This hotel is not the Bulgari pictured above, but it is still brilliant because it is considerably cheaper than the Bulgari. Pricing varies, but in January, rates start at around a very reasonable €200 EUR per night, making this the cheapest luxury Marriott hotel in Milan.
2. The Westin Palace, Milan
The Westin Palace, Milan is a charismatic and modern sanctuary within the Porta Nuova district with arched ceilings hang above beautiful stone and parquet floored rooms. This stylish hotel also has a green terrace looking out onto the garden where you can eat and drink.
Two hundred thirty-one guestrooms combine the beauty of the hotel’s classical architecture with pared-back Milanese 21st-century design. Eat well at the signature Italian restaurant PanEVO, which serves traditional regional cuisine in an intimate location, or walk through the lobby to reach The Lounge Bar, the ideal backdrop for casual gatherings with an authentic salotto feel.
Pricing varies, but in January, we see rates start at around €280 EUR per night, which is slightly more than Duo Milan Porta Nuova, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, but considerably cheaper than Bulgari Milan and the other luxury hotels in Milan.
