1. Park Hyatt London River Thames
This ultra-luxurious hotel is not brilliantly located if you like to walk, but the location is fine if you are okay with taking the tube to explore the city. It has stunning communal areas with a great bar and restaurant. The pool here is impressive, and the views from the rooms over the river are extraordinary. If you are okay with the location, this is London’s best and most luxurious Hyatt hotel.
Park Hyatt London River Thames, offers 203 beautifully appointed rooms, and suites, including the opulent mega-suite and prestigious presidential suite, have been meticulously crafted to meet the demands of modern travelers. Each room, flooded with natural light, presents either captivating vistas of the city’s skyline or serene views of the Thames, offering a haven of indulgence and relaxation.
This is the best and most luxurious Hyatt hotel in London with generous rooms and a classy setting. It’s the best choice for government officials due to its proxiimity to the Houses of Parliament, but for a tourist travelling to London and wanting to explore the sites by foot, this hotel is quite some distance from everything.
Review: Park Hyatt London River Thames
The Park Hyatt London is a new luxury hotel in the heart of London with great views over the River Thames. It is teaming with facilities and can be found in an up-and-coming area, but it is not ideally located for tourists as it is a heck of a walk from London's parks, the West End, and Knightsbridge shopping. Situated in an exclusive riverside location, the 203-room Park Hyatt London River Thames is located within R&F UK's Nine Elms development on the river's south bank. The addition of the hotel to the U.K. market signifies Hyatt's continued brand growth into Europe's leading cities.
2. Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill
Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill‘s location offers convenient access to some of London’s most renowned attractions, including Oxford Street, Hyde Park, and the West End theaters. Guests can easily explore the vibrant cityscape and cultural landmarks with nearby transport links.
Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill boasts a refined ambiance throughout its interiors. The Foyer offers an old English style with plinths showcasing Winston Churchill’s head. This hotel is not up-to-the-minute stylish and instead offers a more traditional and cozy decor. A highlight here is the excellent club lounge which is one of the best club lounges in London.
Review: Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill
Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill stands as a distinguished retreat in the heart of London, situated in the upscale neighborhood of Marylebone. Named in honor of the iconic British Prime Minister, Sir Winston Churchill, the hotel exudes a blend of timeless elegance and modern sophistication. Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill's location offers convenient access to some of London's most renowned attractions, including Oxford Street, Hyde Park, and the West End theaters. 3. Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of The Unbound Collection by Hyatt
The very central Westminster location of Great Scotland Yard Hotel is a stylish hotel featured in the picture above. The impeccable and warm service and a wonderfully presentaton of this hotel blew us away on our last visit. It is both gloriously proud of its past and oozing modern British style at the same time. Add a charming selection of places to eat and drink, and recommending this hotel became very easy indeed.
This fabulously famous address, the original home of the Metropolitan Police (also known as Scotland Yard), is celebrated gloriously by the hotel that now makes use of this grand Grade II listed Edwardian building. The street itself, Great Scotland Yard, can be found steps from Trafalgar Square, connecting to both Whitehall and Northumberland Avenue. The River Thames is also mere steps away.
Review: Great Scotland Yard Hotel
On a recent jaunt to our nation's capital (London!), we were very pleasantly surprised by the delight of a hotel, the Great Scotland Yard Hotel, part of the Hyatt Hotels group. The very central Westminster location we knew to expect, 5* facilities a given; what we didn't expect was impeccable and warm service and a wonderfully presented hotel, both gloriously proud of its past and oozing modern British style at the same time. Add a charming selection of places to eat and drink, and recommending this hotel became very easy indeed.
4. Andaz London at Liverpool Street Station
Andaz London Liverpool Street is a beautiful hotel steeped in history. At the weekends this area of the City can be creepily quiet and when this is compbined with the stylish but not homely rooms, the hotel can feel remote and lonely. That said, we love the historic setting and its closeness to the Tower of London. This Andaz also offers a breather from the frenetic city center.
If you need to be in the City for business, the Andaz is one of your best picks. If you are happy to take the tube to explore London, this Andaz is incredibly well located for station connections.
However, the Andaz is a long way from the tourist center of London, the main shopping streets, and the West End. The City feels like a ghost town at the weekend, and this Andaz can feel quite isolated. This is a great hotel if a location near the tourist sites isn’t your primary concern.
Review: Andaz London Liverpool Street
Unlike Hyatt Regency - The Churchill, which feels like a cozy luxury slipper in central London and overlooks a green square, Andaz London Liverpool Street is completely different. This youthful urban hotel offers a stylish place to rest your head in the commercial City of London and is conveniently located at Liverpool Street Station. Andaz London Liverpool Street - a Concept by Hyatt is ideally located for business in the heart of London's financial district, steps away from Liverpool Street Station. If you need to be in the City for business, the Andaz is one of your best picks.
Guests staying at Andaz London Liverpool Street can easily walk to iconic sights set slightly outside the city center, such as the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and Spitalfields Market. The trendy neighborhoods of Shoreditch and Brick Lane are also nearby, offering an array of hip bars, eclectic restaurants, and fashionable boutiques to explore.
