Which top luxury hotels in Paris have the best pools? If you travel as a family with kids or as a couple looking for a great spa and swim, we list the best indoor pools. The Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris is one of the very best, but it is not cheap. There are only a few cheap Four Seasons hotels in the world. Other great choices include Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris, with the longest pool in Paris, and Le Bristol Paris, Oetker Collection, with the most child-friendly pool in Paris.
While these hotel options are fantastic, they are at the most luxurious end of the hotel scene in Paris, and none of our picks below offer a hotel club lounge in Paris. For this, pick the Hyatt or the InterContinental Le Grand, neither of which has a pool. In fact, no Hyatts in the center of Paris offers a pool, although if you are a Marriott Bonvoy member, you will find a pool at the Renaissance Paris Vendome Hotel, a category 7 Marriott that you can book on points. This is your best option in Paris for a pool if you are redeeming miles or points.
For those of you who travel in luxury, we have outlined your very best hotels with pools in Paris below:
1. Bulgari Hotel Paris
The hotel pool at the Bulgari Hotel Paris is huge and gorgeous, long enough for laps and in a modern setting that feels like it’s stepped out of the Egyptian or Roman times with thick pillars, stone walls, turquoise pool, and gold detailing.
The 25-meter Pool boasts a mosaic lining that sparkles in a spectrum of emerald, jade, and malachite hues, accented with streaks of gold. Reflecting the opulence of Roman baths, the entrance area features four glass columns intricately engraved with the Bulgari Serpenti Constellation motif, casting a soft, luminous glow perfect for unwinding by the poolside or lounging in one of the cabanas.
Inspired by the grandeur of the Roman baths at Caracalla, the Vitality Pool is adorned with mosaics reminiscent of the Bulgari Divas’ Dream collection. Here, a gentle waterfall cascades, offering a soothing ambiance, while the space also houses a mixed hammam and an ice fountain crafted from black granite.
We loved the Bulgari in Milan because it had a great (but smaller) pool, gorgeous and unique rooms, wonderful Bulgari amenities, and an incredible bar and restaurant that has to be one of the coolest places to hang out in the world. You can read more of our review of the Bulgari Milan below to get an idea of what you might also experience in the Bulgari Paris.
Worth noting, the Bulgari Hotel Paris is also the best hotels in Paris that falls under the Marriott umbrella.
2. Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris
Ideally located just steps from the Champs-Elysées, in the heart of the famous Golden Triangle of Paris, Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris is an original 1928 landmark Art Deco building. In addition to all the facilities you would expect of a luxury hotel, yes, it does have a pool, but it also houses an exquisite Art collection.
Redecorated rooms and suites create the unique atmosphere of luxurious Parisian apartments and include stunning views from numerous terraces. Some of the suites even have views of the Eiffel Tower.
This hotel offers five Michelin stars across three restaurants and is popular with both in-house guests and local Parisians. From the exquisite cuisine of the signature restaurant, Le Cinq by Christian Le Squer, to the hip and fashion atmosphere and Mediterranean-style cuisine of Le George by Simone Zanoni or the delicate and intimate restaurant l’Orangerie, your taste buds will be delighted.
Floral arrangements throughout the hotel and in the magnificent marble courtyard fill the air with fresh scents, but it is The Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris’s new Le Spa, officially unveiled in 2018, which we are most interested in because this is where you will find the hotel swimming pool which is pictured above!
Offering a sanctuary of haute couture in the heart of Paris, this impressive Spa is spread over 720 m² (7,750 ft²). It includes a 17-meter (55-foot) swimming pool, a vitality pool with a hydro-massage water experience circuit heated to 34 C (93 F), a 90 m² (970 ft²) cutting-edge fitness room, and a stylish hair salon. In addition to the five single treatment rooms, there are two luxury hammams for men and women and a Spa Suite for couples’ treatments.
Renowned Parisian interior designer Pierre-Yves Rochon has created a Spa and pool space that is at once bright, modern, and elegant, drawing on ancient spa traditions with a color palette of light grey and silver tones. Inspiration from Greek, Roman, and Turkish mosaic patterns lies alongside carefully curated pieces of modern art and spectacular floral compositions designed by Jeff Leatham.
Le Spa’s facilities, including the pool, are open daily from 6:30 am – 10:00 pm, with treatments from 9:00 am – 9:00 pm. The fitness center is open 24 hours, seven days a week. The swimming pool and fitness center are reserved for Hotel guests, and external guests having booked a private sport session.
3. Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris
Le Royal Monceau offers elegance, prestige, and luxury, a few doorsteps away from “the most beautiful avenue in the world”, the Champ-Elysées, and the Arc-de-Triomphe. Only the charm of the French phrase “je-ne-sais-quoi” can begin to describe the most sensational experience that awaits you at Le Royal Monceau, 37 Avenue Hoche in the 8th arrondissement of Paris.
Hotels lovers will recognize that “wow” feeling when they walk through the hotel’s grand entrance and into the well-designed lobby. The buzzworthy Le Bar Long is definitely a place to see and be seen during Fashion Week.
Le Royal Monceau is Raffles Hotels and Resorts’ flagship hotel in France and Europe, offering 149 rooms and suites, some with private balconies, and all with an inviting and thoroughly comfortable setting decorated with artwork, an acoustic guitar, spacious bathrooms, and elegant dressing rooms. The style of the rooms and suites is inspired by the 1940s-1950s: warm, noble materials, rigorous lines, and a timeless notion of luxury. Bathrooms are wrapped in opulent beveled mirrors with trays of Clarins products and are as big as the bedrooms, with marble floors, and many have free-standing tubs beneath the large windows. So romantic.
World-renowned Chef Nobu Matsuhisa has chosen Le Royal Monceau, Raffles Paris, to be the home of his first Matsuhisa restaurant in France. Matsuhisa Paris brings with it a highly contemporary vision of Japanese cuisine, a gastronomic encounter between Asia and Latin America. There is also “Il Carpaccio”(one Michelin star), an Italian gastronomic restaurant, with its decoration inspired by the Sicilian grottos. “Le Bar Long” offers an all-day dining alternative for guests seeking a contemporary and creative food experience.
Art is a cornerstone of the hotel’s identity. This is particularly true in the public areas, where special commissions are on permanent exhibitions. The hotel has also established an in-house collection of photographs that are exhibited in the rooms and suites. The collection presently features two-hundred and eighty-five prints and will continue to grow.
Residents seeking a sophisticated luxury spa experience will find the new Spa My Blend by Clarins at Le Royal Monceau Raffles Paris an ideal sanctuary. With a beautifully designed indoor swimming pool at Le Royal Monceau Raffles and a new fitness center, you will be able to swim to your content.
This spectacular 23-meter swimming pool decked in creams and soft ambient lighting is also bathed in natural light from above and is the longest hotel pool in Paris, which is why we have put this hotel pool as a top pick as the second-best swimming pool at a luxury hotel in Paris.
4. Le Bristol Paris, Oetker Collection
Within walking distance of the Champs Elysées and the Louvre, the Le Bristol Paris occupies one of the city’s most elegant shopping streets, rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. The hotel features 190 rooms, including 100 suites, each decorated in luxurious chintz fabrics and antique furnishings. Rare for Paris, Le Bristol features a vast interior French garden, the largest of its kind.
Le Bristol, Paris, is part of the Oetker Collection, a unique collection of Masterpiece hotels, including Brenners Park-Hotel & Spa in Germany, Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Chateau Saint-Martin & Spa in French Riviera, L’Apogee Courchevel (French Alps), The Lanesborough in London, Fregate Island Private in Seychelles, Eden Rock – St Barths, Palácio Tangará in Sao Paulo and Jumby Bay Island, West Indies. Le Bristol Paris is also a member of The Leading Hotels of the World, which guarantees a certain level of luxury.
Offering elegant French cuisine, the fine dining restaurant Epicure is the recipient of three Michelin stars and is open daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The luxury brasserie 114 Faubourg was awarded its first Michelin star in 2013. Le Bristol also has two different bars. Café Antonia is the perfect place for afternoon tea, whereas Le Bar du Bristol is the new place to be seen in Paris in the evenings.
Equally impressive is Le Bristol Paris swimming pool located on the sixth floor with stunning city views. The pool actually sits at the top of the hotel with windows to either side in an environment that feels a bit like you are at sea on a boat, with a boat mural on the wall at one end.
While this is a quirky design and perhaps not as chic as some of the other pools mentioned in this best pool listing, it does boast a gorgeous private terrace, so you can grab some sunshine after your swim. Most of the hotel pools in Paris are in the hotel’s basement, so this light and airy terrace is a very unusual and sought-after feature of this pool area. Le Bristol guests may also enjoy the Spa Le Bristol by La Prairie, providing all types of facial and body treatments using expert methods.
Le Bristol Spa by La Prairie is pleased to partner with Bonpoint, the luxury spa brand dedicated to children. A Bonpoint spa menu with exclusive treatment protocols for Le Bristol Paris has been specially designed for the well-being of the very young and not so young alike, so this spa is extremely child-friendly, as is the pool.
5. Hotel Barriere Le Fouquet’s Paris
Hotel Barriere Le Fouquet’s Paris is found both avenues George V and the Champs Elysées and offers 81 rooms and suites in the heart of Paris. Rooms have a Parisian feel, elegantly designed by Jacques Garcia, to welcome guests in the utmost comfort. Rooms spread from 37m² and feature large bathrooms. They overlook the Champs-Elysées, George V Avenue, or the hotel’s interior garden.
A wide choice of restaurants includes the legendary Fouquet’s brasserie, as well as a unique spa. Escadrille bar dazzles and calls for a festive moment, thanks to the carefully chosen sounds of a DJ and the head Barman’s savoir-faire.
The Spa Diane Barrière is where you will find the pool, in a haven of serenity in the heart of Paris. Gradual tones of pearl grey are mixed and matched with the lagoon blue of this majestic and luxurious swimming pool.
6. Mandarin Oriental Paris
Mandarin Oriental, Paris is inspired by French design, art, fashion, and artistic creativity. This truly Parisian five-star hotel provides an oasis of tranquility and a cocoon of luxury. 98 chic, elegant rooms and 40 spacious suites offer guests an exceptionally stylish Parisian experience. The hotel’s best-kept secret is its inner garden, both a sanctuary and a peaceful culinary haven. Celebrated Chef Thierry Marx oversees all dining, including two Michelin-starred Sur Mesure.
The Spa at Mandarin Oriental is where you will find the stunning Mandarin Oriental indoor pool and a state-of-the-art fitness center. This swimming pool is beautiful, with lights sparkling under the water that twinkles as you swim and backlit shadows of butterflies and blossom on the walls, fronted by stylish box seating beside the pool. The entire pool area has an Oriental feel, as you would expect, making it one of our favorite pools in Paris.
7. Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel
Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and now shares the epitome of the elegance and spirit of Paris. Guests sink into the warmth and refinement of guestrooms offering a comfortable blend of 18th-century heritage and contemporary creature comforts. Dining options include Paris’s best-kept secret, L’Ecrin, the distinctive Brasserie d’Aumont the Jardin d’Hiver, and the hotel’s favored rendezvous spot, Bar des Ambassadeurs.
Sense, A Rosewood Spa has a carefully curated menu of selected East Asian- and French-inspired treatments as well as a pool with a wow factor. A natural well of light illuminates the 17,600 gold scales of the residential-style pool of Hôtel de Crillon. The light comes through a skylight in the ceiling of the pool room right above the pool so that you can see the sky as you swim. White sofa chairs sit bolt upright around the pool, and the walls are decked in whimsical silvery greys with loads of texture and golden baubles punctuating the textured surfaces. The look is unusual and modern, if a little weird. There are loungers to one end of the pool, but this is not a big space and is more a place to dip and pose than spend the day, hence our positioning further down our list of the best pools.
8. Hotel Lutetia
Hotel Lutetia is an iconic landmark situated in the vibrant St. Germain-des-Pres area of Paris and the only grand hotel on the left bank. This makes this hotel choice unusual and away from the majority of the luxury hotels in Paris.
Opened in 1910, the building was a daring move from art nouveau to the emerging style of art deco at the time and remains a left-bank icon. Ernest Hemingway, James Joyce, Picasso, Matisse, and Josephine Baker were among regular visitors to the hotel.
A $100 million USD plus beautification led by local architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte has resulted in a stylish property with natural light flooding into common spaces from a central courtyard, uncovered during the renovation. Delicate ceiling frescoes in the lobby and bar were liberated from beneath layers of paint, and an original glass ceiling, darkened by years of soot, sparkles in the Salon Saint Germain. While the room count decreased from 233 to 184, all are larger and reconfigured with Calacatta marble bathrooms, oak floors, and king-size beds. The Lutetia Brasserie is a highlight and is under the direction of three Michelin-starred chefs Gérald Passedat.
The Akasha Holistic Wellbeing Center is a 700 m² / 7,500 ft² spa dedicated to well-being and fitness, featuring a 17m swimming pool bathed in natural daylight. The pool is in a stunning marble-clad setting with a modern look, romanesque pillars to one side of the pool, and a lounging area with around ten loungers flanking the pool. The pool is fitted in very neatly against the wall, and being long and thin is ideal for swimming laps.
9. La Reserve Paris Hotel & Spa
Situated mid-way between Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré and Avenue Montaigne, a stone’s throw from the Champs-Elysées, La Reserve Paris Hotel and Spa is nestled in a surprisingly peaceful location. La Réserve Paris Hotel and Spa overlook the Grand Palais, the Eiffel Tower, the Pantheon, and the Concorde obelisk. Just in front, a majestic curtain of trees preserves the intimacy of this place, like an echo of the Elysée Gardens nearby.
All around are immense spaces bathed in light, barely muted by the rich fabrics of the hangings. Scattered here and there are beautiful marble fireplaces and everywhere the joy of vast indoor spaces, typical of Haussmann-style apartments. Enjoy a library, wine cellars in the suites, and an inner courtyard with lush greenery echoing the landscaped entrance.
A 16-meter indoor pool at La Reserve Paris is set in a modern space, and this indoor pool is exclusively reserved for guests at La Réserve Paris. Do laps in the morning to keep fit and toned, take an invigorating dip in the afternoon, or enjoy a moment of pure relaxation after a hectic day: their 16-meter indoor pool is all yours.

The Ritz Paris has been awarded Michelin stars for two restaurants: La Table de L’Espadon, for dinner every night, two stars Michelin (Chef Nicolas Sale) and Les Jardins de L’Espadon, for lunch from Monday to Saturday, one-star Michelin (Chef Nicolas Sale)
The Ritz Club Paris has a celebrated pool, fitness facilities, and the new area, “CHANEL au Ritz Paris” honor our tradition of offering deeply indulgent, restorative moments of relaxation.
The pool itself is quite formal in design, deep blue with cream pillars and murals on the wall. Swim a few laps, participate in an aqua gym or water biking class, and watch as ripples of celadon become tinged with azure.
You can see the pool from the bar (so bring your best swimwear) or simply gaze at the rippling blue waters from the bar over a cocktail.
11. Shangri-La Hotel, Paris
The former residence of Prince Roland Bonaparte located in the upscale 16th arrondissement of Paris, Shangri-La Hotel, Paris, is just a few minutes from the Champs Elysées and Avenue Montaigne. This 19th-century architectural gem has been listed in the French “Monuments Historiques” registry since 2009 and was officially awarded the “Palace” status in 2014. The entire hotel is full of exquisite architectural details, all meticulously restored and preserved during a past four-year renovation.
Its 100 rooms and suites offer stunning and unique views of the Eiffel Tower and numerous Parisian landmarks. Three restaurants, including 2 Michelin starred, overseen by Executive Chef Christophe Moret, offer both French and Chinese cuisine. Le Bar Botaniste, friendly and intimate, is the perfect Parisian meeting place.
CHI, The Spa, with its 15-meter pool bathed in natural daylight, is an invitation to relaxation and serenity. The setting is incredible, with deeply padded loungers edging the blue waters of the pool. Inside the pool, a Roman-style mosaic can be seen glimmering under the Azur pool waters. On the walls, backlit scenes depict wavy leafy images giving the white walls an interesting texture, and palms poke out from behind pillars. This pool area feels regal and ultra-luxurious.
Probably the best thing about the Shangri-La, Paris (even better than the pool!), is the view. Book a room with an Eiffel Tower view, and you will be able to see the Eiffel Tower from my bed, my bathroom, and my closet!
12. The Peninsula Paris
Ok, I picked 12 best choices and not 10, but The Peninsula Paris, with its underground 20 m x 5 m (65 ft x 16 ft) indoor pool situated on the lower ground floor, could not be left out. This pool also offers two jacuzzis and a bunch of padded loungers, making it an extremely pleasant place for a swim.
The Peninsula Paris also hosts 200 cream-lacquered, digitally interactive rooms, among the city’s largest. Lili restaurant serves authentic Cantonese cuisine in a dramatic setting inspired by the Chinese opera; L’Oiseau Blanc elevates Parisian dining with its iconic rooftop views and bistronomique menu. The spa is an oasis of calm.
The Peninsula Paris is located in one of Paris’ most multiethnic areas. The tenth arrondissement is vibrant and bohemian. It’s where all the new restaurants and hip boutiques are.” For a perfect Parisian afternoon, take a leisurely stroll along the Canal Saint-Martin with its iron footbridges and tree-lined quays.
Experience Paris from the hotel’s exclusive rooftop suite gardens and restaurant. Located on the sixth and seventh floors, they serve up stunning views over Paris’ most iconic monuments, including the Eiffel Tower and its stunning panorama.
