The Four Seasons and St. Regis Atlanta are luxury hotels in the city known for their upscale amenities and exceptional service. We outline the differences between these hotels below to help you determine which of these you should choose.
1. Best Location: Four Seasons Or St. Regis Atlanta
The Four Seasons Atlanta, located in Midtown at 75 14th Street NE, offers a vibrant cultural atmosphere close to attractions like the High Museum of Art, Piedmont Park, and an array of trendy restaurants and nightlife options, making it perfect for those looking to immerse themselves in the arts and local culture.
In contrast, the St. Regis, situated in the upscale Buckhead neighborhood at 88 West Paces Ferry Road NW, provides a more exclusive and serene environment. It’s surrounded by high-end shopping at Phipps Plaza and Lenox Square, fine dining, and offers a more residential feel, ideal for guests seeking a luxurious and tranquil retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
Both hotels provide luxurious accommodations and exceptional service, but Four Seasons is in the heart of Atlanta and in a better location than St. Regis, which is in the suburbs.
2. Style & Character
When comparing style and character, the Four Seasons in Atlanta offers contemporary elegance with a focus on art and culture, featuring modern decor, spacious rooms, and a sophisticated ambiance that appeals to those who appreciate a stylish and refined yet current aesthetic.
The St. Regis Atlanta boasts an ambiance of timeless elegance and opulence. It feels more like a country house retreat than a city hotel and has the most incredible marble-clad, chandelier-encrusted foyer complete with impressive sweeping staircases that would be perfect for wedding photos.
The rest of the hotel continues the refined, classic design with lavish details such as crystal chandeliers, rich wood paneling, and sumptuous furnishings, creating an atmosphere of sophisticated luxury. Its signature St. Regis Butler Service complements this, which enhances the overall sense of exclusivity and personalized attention.
Both hotels deliver exceptional style and character, but the Four Seasons leans towards modern chic while the St. Regis embodies more traditional grandeur.
3. Pools
The Four Seasons in Atlanta boasts a great pool. It features a stylish indoor pool connecting to an outdoor terrace where you can soak up the Southern sun. This heated, lap-length pool is complemented by comfortable lounge chairs and a serene ambiance, making it ideal for leisurely swims and unwinding after a busy day.
In contrast, the St. Regis in Atlanta has an outdoor oval pool in a sheltered courtyard surrounded by white and red and white striped loungers. The pool is a suntrap and a wonderful place to laze and relax. and feels detached from the city and more like a retreat. We love this pool so St. Regis wins for the pool.
4. Rooms
The Four Seasons in Atlanta offers the best rooms with incredible style and panache! This elegantly designed accommodation has a contemporary flair. Each room is meticulously appointed with luxurious furnishings, modern amenities, and floor-to-ceiling windows that provide stunning views of the city.
The St Regis’s rooms are also luxurious and exude classic elegance with traditional decor. There is nothing wrong with these rooms but we prefer the modernity of the rooms at the Four Seasons.
5. The Club Floor
The Four Seasons does not have a club floor or lounge in Atlanta, neither does St. Regis, but the Ritz-Carlton does, and it’s the best club lounge in Atlanta!
6. Price
Generally, the St. Regis in Atlanta tends to be slightly cheaper than the Four Seasons. While both hotels are luxury establishments, and their rates can vary based on the season, room type, and availability, the Four Seasons often commands a higher price due to its contemporary elegance, spacious rooms, and prime Midtown location.
The St. Regis is situated outside the heart of Atlanta and tends to be cheaper as a result.
7. Loyalty
Four Seasons has no loyalty scheme but St. Regis is part of Marriott Bonvoy so you can collect and burn loyalty points here.
8. Conclusion
If you want to experience the city’s heart, choose Four Seasons Atlanta. However, if you want to escape the city in a hotel that feels like an oasis, not far from the action, St. Regis is the one to pick.
