If you’re choosing between Nobu Hotel Miami and Eden Roc, it’s worth knowing the pros and cons of each hotel, which we have outlined below.
1. Location: Nobu Hotel Miami Vs. Eden Roc
Nobu Hotel Miami is located on Collins Avenue, in the vibrant Mid-Beach area. It makes up a wing of the Eden Roc. They have their own check-in desk, and the rooms are styled more luxuriously than the Eden Roc. This prime location offers a perfect blend of serene beach vibes and proximity to the lively South Beach, known for its nightlife, shopping, and dining options.
Eden Roc shares the same property as Nobu Hotel, so it has the same location. Eden Roc also enjoys a prime location on Collins Avenue in Mid-Beach. Guests have similar access to both the tranquility of the beach and the excitement of South Beach.
2. Style & Character
Nobu Hotel Miami offers a sophisticated blend of Japanese minimalism and Miami modernism. The design focuses on natural elements, clean lines, and a serene atmosphere inspired by the renowned Nobu restaurant. The hotel has its own oval beachfront pool that is separated from Eden Roc’s pool.
Eden Roc’s timeless, elegant style pays homage to its classic Miami roots. The hotel combines retro glamour with modern luxury, featuring spacious public areas, bold color schemes, and artistic decor. However, we don’t think this hotel is particularly luxurious. Its decor is pleasant but generic and the main rectangular pool is uninteresting.
3. Rooms
The rooms at Nobu Hotel are designed with a tranquil, Japanese-inspired aesthetic. They feature natural wood, earthy tones, and luxurious amenities such as soaking tubs and high-end bath products, creating a serene retreat. The rooms are actually more pine and oatmeal than the rest of the hotel, which has a darker vibe.
The suites at Nobu are a dream and have lovely large terrace balconies, but the standard rooms don’t have balconies and are a little oppressive as they aren’t particularly big.
Eden Roc’s rooms offer a more classic, contemporary feel. They are fine but not very special, and most rooms don’t offer balconies. If you upgrade to a suite, most have balconies, although do your research as not all do. The rooms are generic, spacious, and bright, featuring modern furnishings and large windows, but they are nothing special.
4. Price
Generally, Nobu Hotel tends to be more expensive due to its association with the Nobu brand and its focus on providing an exclusive, high-end experience. Prices reflect the luxurious amenities, refined design, and exclusive Nobu restaurant and pool area.
Eden Roc is often more moderately priced while still offering a luxurious experience. It caters to a broader range of guests and provides excellent value for its location and amenities.

5. Conclusion
Nobu Hotel Miami is ideal for those seeking a tranquil, sophisticated retreat with a unique Japanese-inspired design and are willing to pay a premium for a high-end experience. This is definitely a luxurious hotel but does not have the utterly joyous Miami beach vibe offered by hotels like Four Seasons Surfside.
The most luxurious experience of these two hotels is definitely Nobu, but book a suite, or you might be disappointed.
Eden Roc is perfect for guests looking for a classic Miami luxury experience with modern comforts, spacious rooms, and a slightly more budget-friendly price point.
Both hotels offer prime beachfront locations and access to the best of Miami’s attractions, ensuring a memorable stay regardless of your choice.
