We were thrilled to see the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Evrima in the flesh in the harbor at Monte-Carlo. The photos we took show how impressive and unique this superyacht is. The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection wants to grow its fleet to as many as ten new ships and has just launched its third yacht, Luminara.
The Ritz-Carlton luxury hotel brand, which is a subsidiary of Marriott, moved into the cruise sector with the launch of its first 298-passenger “superyacht” Evrima in 2022. Luminara, like its sister ship Ilma, which will be launched in 2024, will carry 456 passengers and be powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), which is currently the cleanest marine fuel.
“A standard in luxury cruising was set in 2022 with the introduction of Evrima, the first of our Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fleet, marking our expansion into the yachting category,” said Tina Edmundson, President, Luxury, Marriott International. “Endless explorations await as we prepare to launch our second yacht, Ilma, in 2024, and our third, Luminara, in 2025.”
The summer itineraries across the Ritz-Carlton Yacht fleet, Evrima, Ilma, and Luminara have been released. The Ritz-Carlton Luminara will launch in 2025, and you can book onto this brand-new boat today.
The summer season spanning from April to October 2025 presents a curated selection of 53 itineraries featuring new ports of call, standout shore excursions, and an inaugural experience – nine exclusive voyages aboard Ilma in Northern Europe.
We outline how to book the best way to book a Ritz-Carlton cruise below:
1. Best Way To Book A Ritz-Carlton Yacht: Via Our Concierge
The best way to book a Ritz-Carlton Yacht journey is to contact our luxury travel concierge. We will provide you with an itinerary and price. We match the prices of booking directly and will always offer something extra to ensure that we provide the best value.
2. Book An Amenity Ritz-Carlton Sailing
Amenity Ritz-Carlton sailings are special voyages where we can offer extra complimentary benefits to guests who book with us, like exclusive cooking classes and chef’s tastings, a complimentary shore excursion, shipboard credit, or private car and driver. Contact our agents to find out more.
3. Redeem Marriott Rewards
If you want to redeem points on a Ritz-Carlton Cruise, based on their reward redemption increments, 180,000 Bonvoy points equates to $1,000.00 USD.
4. Earn Marriott Rewards
If you book with us as a Marriott Bonvoy member, you will earn 5 points per $1 spent on the cruise fare and participating pre/post hotel packages booked through The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Earning is not eligible on taxes, fees, port expenses, onboard spending, airfare, insurance, shore excursions, or other ancillary purchases.
5. Don’t Book Last Minute
At the last minute, you are unlikely to be able to book the cheapest cabin, as the cabin you wanted may have sold out, so you might be left paying a premium for a premium cabin size that you don’t need. Many cruises sell out. You can now book cruises in 2025 if the one you wanted in 2024 is unavailable. Contact our agents to find out what is available in 2024.
6. Book A Shorter Cruise
It sounds obvious when you say it out loud, but booking a shorter cruise will often be cheaper overall than booking a long voyage. To give you an idea of the price of a Ritz-Carlton cruise, we recently quoted the Valletta to Nice voyage for five nights with an embarkation Date 17th of May, 2024 in The Signature Suite. The total for two people was $26,560 USD, including port charges.
7. Book An All-Inclusive Cruise
You’re in luck with Ritz-Carlton. All their cruises offer an all-inclusive fare, including beverages, tips, all dining, Wi-Fi, a personal concierge, and more.
The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection fares include:
- Oceanview accommodations with a private balcony, which The Ritz calls a “terrace.”
- A dedicated Personal Concierge
- All dining at multiple restaurants as well as 24-hour in-suite room service
- Free beverages (all nonalcoholic, bottled water, coffee, and tea plus select wines and liquors) throughout the yacht and in your suite
- Onboard entertainment and enrichment
- Wi-Fi
- A marina-style platform with access to nonmotorized watersports while at anchor
Onboard gratuities for housekeeping, dining, and bar staff
8. Take advantage Of The Free Amenities
So much is included on this cruise that you may not need to pay for extra services such as the spa.
9. Promo Codes
If you are an employee of a company like Goldman Sachs, Bank Of America, IBM, AAA, or the government, you might be able to take advantage of special discounts. That said, Ritz-Carlton cruises are aimed at the leisure traveler, so there may be none. To date, we have yet to hear of any promo or discount codes.
10. Pick A Cruise Closer To You
Ritz-Carlton’s Yachts currently cruise Europe and the Caribbean. Some itineraries will require you to fly further to get to the departure port. Extortionate flight costs may add to your price. If you want to reduce costs, you should pick an itinerary that does not require a long and expensive flight.
