Book A Hotel

The best luxury Rosewood hotels and resorts in the world can be found below. We outline the very best hotels for families and couples looking for a pool and beachside luxury.

There is no Rosewood guest loyalty program, so there’s no way to collect points or miles for hotel stays. The good news is that, much like Four Seasons, select luxury travel agents can get you extra benefits on your Rosewood hotel stay, including free breakfast, hotel credit and prioritized room upgrades.

Our Luxury Travel Concierge is one of those travel agents. Book with us for a variety of benefits at any Rosewood hotel or resort. Crucially, you can benefit from all our VIP benefits whilst still booking similar rates to those on the hotel’s website directly. In some cases, we might even be able to add our benefits to existing Rosewood bookings.

    1. Rosewood Vienna

Rosewood Vienna (pictured above) is undoubtedly the best luxury hotel in Vienna. It has the most authentic Viennese atmosphere of any luxury hotel in Vienna. When you stay here, you feel like you are living in your own completely perfect Viennese apartment in the center of Vienna.

Rosewood Vienna is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Vienna, just off the main street. It has the most wonderful rooms, immaculate and stunning communal spaces, and the rooftop bar and restaurant at this hotel offers the best evening venue in the whole of Vienna.

While the entire hotel is incredible, our favorite feature of the Rosewood Vienna is the light-filled rooftop restaurant and bar. The bar actually sits on top of the restaurant, and you can grab a sunset cocktail in the fresh air or in the interior, both of which overlook the rooftops.

A level below is the restaurant, which also has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the Viennese rooftops, all adorned with life-size statues perched on every corner, staring down at the tourists and locals in the streets far below.

These crazily ornate views, combined with the natural light that gushes in, make this space both uplifting and modern and very much in Vienna’s heart. You can feel (and see) what makes up the soul of this prestigious and beautiful city.

There is also a plant-filled courtyard balcony that makes up the exterior of this Rosewood restaurant, with views over the green copper dome of The Peterskirche, a Baroque Roman Catholic parish church. This is a great place to enjoy the incredible cuisine delivered by the superbly warm staff at this Rosewood hotel.

    2. Rosewood Phuket, Thailand

Rosewood Phuket is located on the holiday island of Phuket in Thailand. This luxury hotel is a magical place to spend your vacation. Lying just 60 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the Rosewood Phuket is a serene island escape set on a 600 meter beachfront at Emerald Bay (pictured above), in Kathu.

This tropical beach hideaway hotel features innovative architecture with subtle Thai influences that blend into the lush natural landscape kissed by glistening, crystalline waters. Unwind at the Asaya Spa, and enjoy dining at four exquisite restaurants and lounges. Our favorite is Ta Khai. A rustic beachside restaurant serves authentic Thai dishes.

The resort features 71 pavilions and villas, including one and two-bedroom Ocean View Pool Pavilions, Oceanfront Pool Pavilions, Ocean View Pool Villas, Beachfront Pool Villas, and two-bedroom Beach Houses, all with separate lounge and dining spaces, private terrace pool, garden, outdoor shower and bath and views of the Andaman Sea. We think the best rooms are those with direct beach access, step straight out into that deliciously warm sea.

The resort is spread along a white sand beach. One end is dedicated to action, sports, and families, while the other is peaceful and ideal for couples and romance.

Spend your days lazing in the immaculate tropical gardens and around the azure blue free-form pool. Those searching for an adventure can visit local fish farms, go snorkeling or enjoy a Phuket Elephant Sanctuary tour.

    3. Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort

We think Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabo is the best Rosewood Hotel in Mexico and one of the best hotels in Los Cabos. Other Rosewood hotels in Mexico include Rosewood Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya, Rosewood Puebla, and Rosewood San Miguel de Allende.

Offering “the windows to paradise,” Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, is one of the best luxury hotels in Los Cabos. Located 20 minutes from San Jose del Cabo International Airport, the hotel is located between the cities of San Jose Del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas in an area known as Cabo Real.

Every room is a spacious suite complete with a marble shower, Conchuela limestone floors, and a telescope for viewing the night sky. The Signature Beachfront and Oceanview Villas are mere steps from the legendary Sea of Cortés. From private, infinity-edge pools to the expansive bathroom, with steam and rain shower and infinity bathtub for two, this will be your private paradise.

Beyond the seven pools with poolside butler service, don’t miss the recently added beach cabanas with private Jacuzzis.

    4. Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel

How about Europe, which is the best Rosewood Hotel in Europe? There is the Rosewood London and the beautiful Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy. Still, in our opinion, the best Rosewood in Europe is Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris, France.

Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and now shares the epitome of the elegance and spirit of Paris. Guests sink into the warmth and refinement of guestrooms offering a comfortable blend of 18th-century heritage and contemporary creature comforts. Dining options include Paris’s best-kept secret, L’Ecrin, the distinctive Brasserie d’Aumont the Jardin d’Hiver, and the hotel’s favored rendezvous spot, Bar es Ambassadeurs.

Sense, A Rosewood Spa, has a carefully curated menu of selected East Asian- and French-inspired treatments as well as a pool with a wow factor that features in our best hotels with pools in Paris.

A natural well of light illuminates the 17,600 gold scales of the residential-style pool of Hôtel de Crillon and the walls are decked in whimsical silvery greys. There are loads of textures throughout the room, and golden baubles on the walls punctuate the textured surfaces. The look is unusual and modern, if a little weird.

    5. The Chancery Rosewood, London

Another luxury hotel is set to grace London’s vibrant scene: The Chancery Rosewood, housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, a Grade II listed building in the prestigious Mayfair district. Scheduled to open in 2025, this prime location places guests just a short walk from other notable hotels like the Four Seasons Park Lane, InterContinental London, and The Dorchester. The West End’s theaters and Covent Garden’s shops are less than 30 minutes away, offering easy access to some of London’s top attractions, while still being nestled in the elegant, tree-lined Grosvenor Square.

The Chancery Rosewood is undergoing a stunning transformation led by acclaimed British architect Sir David Chipperfield, in partnership with Qatari Diar. The hotel will feature 146 luxurious guest rooms and suites designed by Joseph Dirand, offering both grandeur and contemporary style. Guests will also enjoy a variety of formal and casual dining spaces, as well as entertainment venues that reflect the brand’s commitment to refined luxury.

In addition to its dining and social spaces, the hotel will boast a world-class Asaya wellness center crafted by Yabu Pushelberg, providing a serene escape from the city’s bustle. With flagship retail spaces and a grand ballroom for events, The Chancery Rosewood promises to be a standout destination in central London, setting a new benchmark for ultra-luxury stays.

The InterContinental London is across Hyde Park Corner roundabout from the Peninsula Hotel.

    6. Rosewood Mansion On Turtle Creek, Dallas, Texas, United States

We found it hard to choose the best Rosewood Hotel in the United States. We have included Rosewood, Washington, D.C, below. Other Rosewood hotels on American soil include Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rosewood CordeValle in San Martin, California, Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California and Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California and the sophisticated city hotel of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York.

But if we are picking the best Rosewood hotels in the world, surely it would be crazy to miss out on the very first Rosewood hotel in the world. Rosewood Mansion On Turtle Creek, Dallas, Texas, in the United States.

Rosewood Mansion On Turtle Creek, is the first-ever Rosewood hotel. This iconic hotel is also the most celebrated hotel and restaurant in Texas. The Mansion Restaurant is housed within a historic private residence built in 1925 by the cotton baron, Sheppard King. The hotel was opened in 1980.

In the heart of Dallas’ most fashionable neighborhood, the hotel offers the ambiance of a private residence with 127 guest rooms, each of at least 450 ft² and 16 suites.

The five-star restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and includes small, intimate private dining areas, as well as the main dining room with its adjacent enclosed veranda and outdoor terrace. A fireplace at each end of the main dining area and a collection of art and antiques make this room feel like a grand hall. Another great feature of this hotel is the complimentary car service, which will take you to dinner, shopping, or anywhere you like within five miles of the hotel.

    7. Rosewood Bermuda

Rosewood Bermuda is one of the best Rosewood Hotels in the Caribbean, although you could argue that Bermuda lies further North in the Atlantic. Other Rosewood hotels in the Caribbean are Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas, and Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. It is hard to choose which of these hotels is best as they are all wonderful!

The Rosewood Bermuda is actually the centerpiece of Tucker’s Point Club, Bermuda’s premier resort, golf club, and residential community. Gracing 240 beautiful coastal acres on the island, the award-winning tropical hideaway neighbors the estates of Tucker’s Town and offers breathtaking vistas of the ocean and sound. With 92 rooms and suites, guests feel they are part of an elite club with access to private pink-sand beaches, as well as the island’s finest amenities. Golf, sail the ocean blue, dive shipwrecks, play a friendly game of tennis, or “spa” to their heart’s delight within this well-appointed setting.

For a bit of fun, you can explore the resort’s 240 acres of manicured grounds by golf cart or scooter or simply take the short trolley ride to the hotel’s private pink-sand beach and spend the day there!

    8. Rosewood Hong Kong

Rosewood Hong Kong soars over Victoria Harbour on the Kowloon waterfront and is one of the best luxury hotels in Hong Kong. On passing the gate and traversing the cobblestoned drive, the urban din falls away, revealing lush topiary and a serene forecourt that commands the harbor.

Occupying 43 floors of a multi-use tower, the ultra-luxury hotel will offer 413 guestrooms, eight dining options, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and the first urban setting for Asaya, Rosewood’s innovative holistic wellness concept. The Manor Club executive lounge provides an array of exclusive privileges for its guests and is one of the best club lounges in Hong Kong.

    9. Rosewood Luang Prabang

Rosewood Luang Prabang is nestled on a wild and jungly hillside on the outskirts of Luang Prabang. All ages are welcome (there is a Rose Bud’s kids club to welcome the little ones), and there is so much to enjoy at this unique resort in this UNESCO World Heritage Site in Laos.

The interiors are stunning and mix French colonial furniture with modern style. This is a small boutique hotel with just 23 rooms, including four suites. These include riverside suites, waterfall villas, and hilltop tents.

The hilltop tents are like something out of a luxurious safari, with their peaked pinnacles hidden beneath enormous trees that sit behind them. Their stilted bases raise the tents above the foliage in front, affording them incredible views, the best in the hotel.

These luxury tented rooms are unique and very private as they are reached by little well-maintained pathways that are lit by hidden nightlights stuffed between the jungly leaves. Wake to hear the birdsong as the sun rises over these mystical mountains.

Villa and suites are closer to the resort center and the main oval pool, overlooking a natural waterfall. Here you can lounge on the lawns under pretty parasols. If you like to sunbathe, go for the waterfall villas with beautiful verandas and private pools. Another option is the Riverside villas. You can actually hear the river sloshing from these rooms.

Sense Spa is a highlight of this resort and is made up of several tents under the trees. Treatments are based on traditional Laotian medicine, using organic plants, herbs, and fruits from the hotel’s own garden.

A must-do trip from Rosewood Luang Prabang is to take a quick drive to a nearby waterfall. You can jump in and swim surrounded by splashing water and jungly foliage.

    10. Rosewood Washington DC

This is a superb Rosewood to choose from as it has just undergone a massive refurbishment and is re-opening this year with a new look and brand-new, everything!

Ideally located in the charming neighborhood of Georgetown, alongside the historic C&O Canal, Rosewood Washington, D.C. features 49 rooms and 12 suites, so this is very much a boutique Rosewood hotel.

In addition to its enviable location, Rosewood, Washington, D.C., overlooks the picturesque canal. The Grill Room and adjacent Rye Bar are particularly good with seasonally inspired cuisine. On the rooftop, a wraparound bar and lounge area boast a stunning indoor-outdoor swimming pool and sweeping views of the Potomac River, Washington Monument, Roosevelt Island, and the spires of Georgetown University.

Fitness and spa services, private dining and meeting venues, and a calendar of intriguing curated events and occasions round out the hotel’s remarkable offerings.

Explore the national treasures of Washington, D.C., along with remarkable shops on Wisconsin and M Streets and the Washington Harbour. The hotel is easily accessible from The Kennedy Center, the Business and Financial Districts, the Smithsonian Institute museums, the National Monument, The National Mall, and The White House.
