Receive complimentary breakfast at Luxury Hotels
The best luxury Rosewood hotels and resorts in the world can be found below. We outline the very best hotels for families and couples looking for a pool and beachside luxury.
There is no Rosewood guest loyalty program, so there’s no way to collect points or miles for hotel stays. The good news is that, much like Four Seasons, select luxury travel agents can get you extra benefits on your Rosewood hotel stay, including free breakfast, hotel credit, and prioritized room upgrades.
Our Luxury Travel Concierge is one of those travel agents. Book with us for a variety of benefits at any Rosewood hotel or resort. Crucially, you can benefit from all our VIP benefits whilst still booking similar rates to those on the hotel’s website directly. In some cases, we might even be able to add our benefits to existing Rosewood bookings.
1. Rosewood Vienna
Rosewood Vienna (pictured above) is undoubtedly the best luxury hotel in Vienna. It has the most authentic Viennese atmosphere of any luxury hotel in Vienna. When you stay here, you feel like you are living in your own completely perfect Viennese apartment in the center of Vienna.
Rosewood Vienna is located in one of the most beautiful squares in Vienna, just off the main street. It has the most wonderful rooms, immaculate and stunning communal spaces, and the rooftop bar and restaurant at this hotel offers the best evening venue in the whole of Vienna.
While the entire hotel is incredible, our favorite feature of the Rosewood Vienna is the light-filled rooftop restaurant and bar. The bar actually sits on top of the restaurant, and you can grab a sunset cocktail in the fresh air or in the interior, both of which overlook the rooftops.
A level below is the restaurant, which also has floor-to-ceiling windows looking out at the Viennese rooftops, all adorned with life-size statues perched on every corner, staring down at the tourists and locals in the streets far below.
These crazily ornate views, combined with the natural light that gushes in, make this space both uplifting and modern and very much in Vienna’s heart. You can feel (and see) what makes up the soul of this prestigious and beautiful city.
There is also a plant-filled courtyard balcony that makes up the exterior of this Rosewood restaurant, with views over the green copper dome of The Peterskirche, a Baroque Roman Catholic parish church. This is a great place to enjoy the incredible cuisine delivered by the superbly warm staff at this Rosewood hotel.
2. Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort
Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort is a stunning beachside hotel on the volcanic Kona coastline of Big Island, Hawaii. What sets this resort apart from the other resorts in Hawaii is its boutique size and low-rise nature.
The rooms are not located in a big building at all, like most other resorts in Hawaii, and are single-story buildings spread around the grounds with a straw-thatched Polynesian-style desert island setup, much like what you would find in the South Pacific.
Some of these “Halle” rooms are right on the beachfront or rocky outcrops, with the wooden staircases from their decked terraces leading directly down to the shoreline sands and water. Other, less expensive “Halle” rooms are further back in the resort with lagoon and garden views. These rooms still enjoy large decked terraces and traditional sloped, thatched roofs.
Inside, the rooms feel rustic, with wooden walls and driftwood-style furnishings, precisely what you would expect from a luxury beach resort on a desert island.
Dining is alfresco and set out under palm trees. Every Thursday, the Kahuwai Cookhouse celebrates the vibrant cultural heritage of Paniolo (cowboys) and Hawaiian ranching with an evening of live music and a menu centered around our kiawe wood-fired grills next to the shoreline.
This Rosewood is just up the coastline from the Four Seasons Hualalai, which we have also reviewed, and both of these resorts are set in the most exclusive resort area on Big Island.
3. Rosewood Phuket
Rosewood Phuket is located on the holiday island of Phuket in Thailand. This luxury hotel is a magical place to spend your vacation. Lying just 60 minutes from Phuket International Airport, the Rosewood Phuket is a serene island escape set on a 600 meter beachfront at Emerald Bay (pictured above), in Kathu.
This tropical beach hideaway hotel features innovative architecture with subtle Thai influences that blend into the lush natural landscape kissed by glistening, crystalline waters. Unwind at the Asaya Spa, and enjoy dining at four exquisite restaurants and lounges. Our favorite is Ta Khai. A rustic beachside restaurant serves authentic Thai dishes.
The resort features 71 pavilions and villas, including one and two-bedroom Ocean View Pool Pavilions, Oceanfront Pool Pavilions, Ocean View Pool Villas, Beachfront Pool Villas, and two-bedroom Beach Houses, all with separate lounge and dining spaces, private terrace pool, garden, outdoor shower and bath and views of the Andaman Sea. We think the best rooms are those with direct beach access, step straight out into that deliciously warm sea.
The resort is spread along a white sand beach. One end is dedicated to action, sports, and families, while the other is peaceful and ideal for couples and romance.
Spend your days lazing in the immaculate tropical gardens and around the azure blue free-form pool. Those searching for an adventure can visit local fish farms, go snorkeling, or enjoy a Phuket Elephant Sanctuary tour.
4. Rosewood Mayakoba
Rosewood Mayakoba is an ultra-luxurious beachfront resort nestled within the exclusive Riviera Maya region of Mexico. Set on 620 acres of lush mangroves, lagoons, and pristine white-sand beaches, the resort is located in the same resort area as a luxury Farmont and an Andaz hotel. We have compared which is best, Rosewood Mayakoba Vs. Andaz Vs. Fairmont.
Designed with sustainability and elegance in mind, its overwater and beachfront suites feature private plunge pools, outdoor showers, and butler service, creating an intimate retreat where guests can immerse themselves in barefoot luxury. Arriving at the resort by boat through winding emerald lagoons sets the tone for the resort’s serene and exclusive atmosphere.
Beyond its breathtaking accommodations, Rosewood Mayakoba offers exceptional dining, an award-winning spa, and curated experiences that celebrate the beauty and culture of the Yucatán Peninsula. Guests can indulge in elevated Mexican cuisine at Agave Azul, unwind at Sense, A Rosewood Spa, which is set on its own private island, or participate in personalized wellness programs, private cenote excursions, and cooking classes.
Whether relaxing by the beach, golfing at the nearby El Camaleón course, or exploring nearby Tulum and Playa del Carmen. Its luxury, seclusion, and cultural immersion make it one of the most sought-after retreats in Mexico’s Riviera Maya.
5. Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort
We think Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort in Los Cabo is the best Rosewood Hotel in Mexico and one of the best hotels in Los Cabos. Other Rosewood hotels in Mexico include Rosewood Mayakoba on the Riviera Maya, Rosewood Puebla, and Rosewood San Miguel de Allende.
Offering “the windows to paradise,” Las Ventanas al Paraíso, A Rosewood Resort, is one of the best luxury hotels in Los Cabos. Every room is a spacious suite complete with a marble shower, Conchuela limestone floors, and a telescope for viewing the night sky. The Signature Beachfront and Oceanview Villas are mere steps from the legendary Sea of Cortés. From private, infinity-edge pools to the expansive bathroom, with steam and rain shower and an infinity bathtub for two, this will be your private paradise.
Beyond the seven pools with poolside butler service, don’t miss the recently added beach cabanas with private Jacuzzis.
6. Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel
How about Europe? Which is the best Rosewood Hotel in Europe? There is the Rosewood London and the beautiful Rosewood Castiglion del Bosco in Tuscany, Italy. Still, we believe the best Rosewood in Europe is Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel in Paris, France.
Hotel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel, has recently undergone a complete refurbishment and now shares the epitome of the elegance and spirit of Paris. Guests sink into the warmth and refinement of guestrooms, offering a comfortable blend of 18th-century heritage and contemporary creature comforts. Dining options include Paris’s best-kept secret, L’Ecrin, the distinctive Brasserie d’Aumont the Jardin d’Hiver, and the hotel’s favored rendezvous spot, Bar es Ambassadeurs.
Sense, A Rosewood Spa, has a carefully curated menu of selected East Asian- and French-inspired treatments as well as a pool with a wow factor that features in our best hotels with pools in Paris.
A natural well of light illuminates the 17,600 gold scales of the residential-style pool of Hôtel de Crillon and the walls are decked in whimsical silvery greys. There are loads of textures throughout the room, and golden baubles on the walls punctuate the textured surfaces. The look is unusual and modern, if a little weird.

We found it hard to choose the best Rosewood Hotel in the United States. We have included Rosewood, Washington, D.C., below. Other Rosewood hotels on American soil include Rosewood Inn of the Anasazi in Santa Fe, New Mexico, Rosewood CordeValle in San Martin, California, Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, California; and Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California and the sophisticated city hotel of The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel in New York.

10. Rosewood Bermuda
Rosewood Bermuda is one of the best Rosewood Hotels in the Caribbean, although you could argue that Bermuda lies further North in the Atlantic. Other Rosewood hotels in the Caribbean are Rosewood Baha Mar in Nassau, Bahamas, and Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. Choosing which of these hotels is best is hard as they are all wonderful!
The Rosewood Bermuda is actually the centerpiece of Tucker’s Point Club, Bermuda’s premier resort, golf club, and residential community.
