The Bvlgari Hotel Beijing offers Italian sophistication in the heart of Beijing’s low-rise Embassy District. Surrounded by sculpted gardens and set along the tranquil Liangma River, it offers world-class dining curated by Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito, a state-of-the-art spa inspired by the historic Roman baths, and delicious Bvlgari toiletries.
Location
Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is situated in the Chao Yang neighborhood within the Genesis Beijing complex and is surrounded by lush greenery and cultural landmarks. This area feels different from the soulless concrete jungle that makes up much of the city. Here, you can walk up the river, watching fishermen bring in a catch and older locals swimming.

The nearby Genesis Art Gallery, designed by renowned architect Tadao Ando, enhances the area’s artistic appeal. Guests can easily explore the vibrant Sanlitun district, known for its upscale boutiques, art galleries, and trendy restaurants, or take a short drive to the historic 798 Art District.
The nearby Liangmaqiao subway station gives you access to the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven, and Tiananmen Square in around 20 minutes, and the airport is only a 30-minute drive away. For a more luxurious trip, the hotel’s Maserati limousine service ensures access to Beijing’s iconic sites in style.

Style & Character
As with all Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts, the Bvlgari Hotel Beijing was meticulously designed by the Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. The interiors and exteriors reflect the precision and elegance of a finely crafted Bvlgari jewel. The Foyer is spacious with double height ceilings, lots of natural brown wood, and tan and cream soft furnishings punctuated by vast black walls and windowframes.

Inspired by a fusion of Italian craftsmanship and Chinese heritage, the hotel seamlessly integrates elements such as woven bamboo, hand-selected Italian furnishings, and sculpted gardens conceived by landscape artist Enzo Enea. The exquisite Murano glass chandeliers and Chinese-inspired design details further enhance the hotel’s unique character.
Service & Facilities
The concierge team here is fluent in English and organizes both complimentary and paid experiences. Guests can enjoy free activities like jogging, cycling, and guided walks through Beijing’s disappearing walled neighborhoods. The team also offers local drop-offs in the hotel’s sleek Italian Maserati. For a touch of exclusivity, guests can arrange private shopping experiences, including Bvlgari jewelry viewings in their suites, or immerse themselves in cultural activities like Tai Chi workshops and guided city tours.

Downstairs, the state-of-the-art gym sits alongside a stunning green and gold-tiled swimming pool and an Italian-style whirlpool tub. The 1,500-square-meter Bvlgari Spa, is also located in the hotel’s basement. It features 11 treatment rooms, a vitality pool, a Technogym fitness studio, and a 25-meter indoor mosaic pool inspired by the ancient Terme di Caracalla baths in Rome.

Rooms
Each of the hotel’s 119 rooms and suites seamlessly blends exquisite Italian craftsmanship with subtle Chinese influences and state-of-the-art technology. The standout feature for most guests is the stunning view—a rarity in Beijing. Floor-to-ceiling windows frame a canopy of lush treetops, with a serpentine river winding through the greenery, set against the backdrop of the city’s skyline. This tranquil, forest-like panorama offers a refreshing contrast to Beijing’s dense urban sprawl, making the hotel a true sanctuary in the city.

Inside, the rooms exude sophisticated warmth, furnished with luxury Italian brands such as Maxalto, B&B Italia, and Flos. They are among the most spacious in Beijing, further enhanced by a signature wooden alcove entrance that ensures privacy and noise reduction with double doors. The walk-in closets, inspired by the historic travel trunks of China’s elite, add a touch of nostalgia, while pine wood flooring, soft cream tones, and a plush rust-colored rug create a welcoming ambiance.
The bathrooms are equally indulgent, featuring expansive black marble surfaces, heated floors, and separate shower and bathtub areas, offering a serene retreat within this urban oasis.

The suites, ranging from 71 square meters to the expansive 380-square-meter Bvlgari Suite, feature floor-to-ceiling windows, lavish bathrooms adorned with Navona travertine, and exclusive Bvlgari bath products developed by Master Perfumer Jacques Cavallier.
The Bvlgari Suite, one of the largest in Beijing, boasts a private sauna, a spa treatment room, and a stunning black granite bathtub overlooking the Liangma River.

Food & Drink
Il Ristorante, a restaurant overseen by chef Niko Romito, who has three Michelin stars, offers gourmet Italian delicacies. Led by three-Michelin-starred chef Niko Romito, the restaurant presents a modern interpretation of Italian cuisine, served in a refined setting with panoramic views of the lush gardens.

La Terrazza, a lush, garden-like outdoor terrace, is connected to Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, and offers a serene escape in the heart of the city. Surrounded by vibrant greenery, blooming flowers, and elegant landscaping, this tranquil space is designed for al fresco dining and relaxation. A wooden pathway, framed by hydrangeas, tropical plants, and delicate yellow roses, leads through a charming wrought-iron archway adorned with Bulgari’s signature branding. Nestled within Beijing’s Embassy District and overlooking the Liangma River, La Terrazza provides a refreshing contrast to the city’s urban energy, making it an ideal setting for afternoon tea, cocktails, or intimate dining under the open sky.

The Bvlgari Bar is one of Beijing’s premier gathering spots for the city’s elite. It offers a sophisticated selection of cocktails, wines, and the signature ‘aperitivo’ experience, as well as a light meal. Guests can enjoy their drinks at the oval bar or on the outdoor terrace overlooking the river.
The Bvlgari Lounge at Bvlgari Hotel Beijing offers guests a stylish and intimate space to unwind while enjoying exquisite teas, artisanal pastries, and light refreshments. The setting blends Italian sophistication with serene views of the Liangma River.
The à la carte breakfast, which is one of the complimentary benefits of booking via our luxury travel diary concierge, is excellent. You can choose from lots of egg dishes, fruit, yogurt, and asian options like noodles and dim sum. The breakfast we enjoyed at the Bvlgari Milan was one of the best breakfasts we have ever experienced. The food, the alfresco setting, and the service were all brilliant.
Conclusion
Bvlgari Hotel Beijing is an oasis of green views, gardens, and Italian design in the heart of Beijing. Even if you don’t stay, you should pop by the amazing garden terrace at Il Ristorante by Niko Romito. What we also love are the views from the rooms, which are over a forested canopy and give guests a unique and more grounded perspective of this high rise city.
