HAUS 65 is the newly refurbished club lounge on the 21st floor at the Mandarin Oriental, Singapore. It is one of the most stylish and best club lounges in Singapore.
Location
The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore boasts an enviable location overlooking Marina Bay, close to the futuristic Gardens by the Bay to the historic charm of Chinatown, Little India, and Kampong Gelam and just 20 minutes by car from Changi Airport by car.
Suntec City, Singapore Flyer, Esplanade Theatre, and Raffles City are a short walk away, and the nearest MRT station is Promenade, which is connected to Marina Square by a sheltered underpass and takes around 10 minutes to walk to from the hotel.
Style & Character
The newly unveiled HAUS 65, is Mandarin Oriental’s executive club lounge on the 21st floor. It offers a huge space to relax in, including lounge areas, a library, and a wine room.
The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore’s club lounge is reached through majestic glass double doors. This club lounge is enormous and split into various sections. There is a comfy seating area with an orangy carpeted set up next to massive double-height windows. There are all sorts of relaxing seats around tables, and haphazard squirly chandeliers make the look feel modern & elegant.
While I’m not a fan of orange, this rust coloured carpeting mixes with khaki greens, which matches the walls and nicely offsets the green chairs, side units, and large swathes of botanical printed green wallpaper on the walls and ceiling.
Between the comfy carpeted area and the entrance is a reception area with a manned reception desk, dark wood flooring, green pergola-style roofing, and pergola partitions partially fencing off the different areas of the lounge.
The greens, khakis, and oranges give the space a natural feel, which is great, seeing as this lounge has a city center location and is set hugely high up in the sky. The decor makes this lounge feel earthy and grounded while enjoying immense views across the city.
Most of the lounge, including the buffet area, has double-height ceilings. The buffet area is really stunning, too, and delivers light bites, Ruinart champagne, wines, spirits, and beers until 7:00 pm.

Service & Facilities
If you have executive lounge access, you can enjoy a Champagne breakfast from 6:30 am to 10:30 am. Afternoon tea from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Evening cocktails with hors d’oeuvres from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A generous selection of Champagne, wines, spirits, and beers is available throughout the day until 7:00 pm. Cocktails on offer include the Gin Martini, Lychee Martini, and the Singapore Sling. Guests with Haus65 access can order anything from the drinks menu in the lounge, but if you gain access as a Mandala Club member, you pay for your alcoholic drinks.
Haus65 guests can also enjoy complimentary in-room minibar throughout their stay, and laundry or pressing for up to two pieces per day (non-accumulative), as well as access to MOFIT Wellness classes and a complimentary chauffeur-driven HAUS 65 Car on weekdays which will drop you off at any destination within a 2 kilometers of the hotel.
The lounge staff go above and beyond the traditional butler service, crafting personalised and exceptional experiences, from unveiling hidden gems to guiding guests on an immersive journey to discover Singapore. If you book this lounge, do use them to assist in booking special experiences in the city.
This Mandarin Oriental offers additional facilities beyond the club lounge, including many restaurants, a gym, and the stunning pool pictured below, making this an even more appealing hotel choice in Singapore.

Food & Drink
Breakfast here is great, although the buffet is much smaller than eating in the main restaurant downstairs. There are cheeses, hams, cold smoked salmon and mackeral, bread, pastries like croissants, and honey straight from the comb. There is also an a la carte menu in the lounge, which is really good, and you can pick and choose what you like from this menu.
The a la carte breakfast is outlined below to give you an idea of the level of pleasure you can get from this breakfast. This is top-notch for a club lounge:
- Swiss Bircher Muesli -Oats and granola with cinnamon, green apples, yogurt, honey, sundried fruits, and walnuts
- Homemade Pancakes – With maple syrup and berry compote
- Homemade Waffles – With your choice of butter and fruit preserves or fresh strawberries and whipped cream
- Avocado Cheese Toast – Burrata cheese, pomegranate, poached egg, sourdough toast
- Kaya Toast & Onsen Egg – Two slices of toast with butter and kaya jam, served with onsen eggs
- Egg White Omelette – Egg white omelette served with oven-baked truss tomatoes and forest mushrooms

- Singapore Wanton Noodle Soup – Egg noodles in superior chicken broth, prawn wantons, barbecued char siu pork, and green vegetables
- Chee Cheong Fun – Steamed rice noodle roll with white sesame and sweet sauce
- Homemade Dim Sum – Assorted Cherry Garden dim sum

While the breakfast is fantastic in the club lounge, if you book your stay via our luxury travel concierge, one of our many complimentary perks for you is the full breakfast downstairs at the Embu restaurant from 6:30 am to 10:30 am, which has more variety and is busier. The club lounge breakfast is more peaceful, but you might find it fun to try the breakfast downstairs for a change of scene.
Between mealtimes, you can still sip on any alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks you like, plus plenty of pastries and fruits are laid out on the counters for you to pick from. The afternoon tea is noteworthy and delivered as savory or sweet plates. Sweet plates include scones with chocolate cake, jam, and cream. Savory options include mini avocado sandwiches, mini chicken sandwiches, nini meat sandwiches, and tiny delicious pastries, etc.
In the evening, the food is Asian in style, with prawn dishes, skewered kebab-style meat, fried fish, and big bowls of hot noodle dishes like chicken with Chinese sausage in noodles and black pepper udon. There’s also a cold salad buffet with cheeses, hams, salad items with dressings, soup, and sushi. More than enough to fill you up.

Conclusion
We think that the Mandarin Oriental Singapore has the chicest club lounge in Singapore. The setting is modern and beautiful, and the views and food are fantastic. If you book your next hotel stay in Singapore via our luxury travel concierge, you will get complimentary breakfast, hotel credit, and more, but you will need to book a club room to enjoy club access. If you want free club lounge access, we currently offer this at the Fullerton Singapore, which is also excellent but is more traditional in its decor.
