1. Park Hyatt Vienna

The Park Hyatt Vienna is set in a tasteful conversion of the headquarters of an Austrian Hungarian Monarchy Bank, right in the heart of The Golden Quarter.

Everything from The Opera to The Spanish Riding School, museums, cafés, and the best designer label shops (including Vuitton, Burberry, and Hermes) is within easy strolling range of this palace of good taste. The conversion retains many features of the 100-year-old Neo-classical building, including marble staircases polished by the leather of countless bank clerks’ scurrying brogues.

The original office layout in the building directly influences the shape and size of this hotel’s guest rooms and suites, and with the high-profile clientele that used to use this bank, the proportions here are exceptionally generous.

Bathrooms are stocked with top-tier toiletries, while double-height ceilings and expansive mirrors further enhance the sense of space. Even the standard and deluxe rooms offer ample space, featuring well-appointed bathrooms and walk-in wardrobes. Convenience is a priority, with touch-sensitive panels controlling lights, blinds, and curtains—all intuitively placed and mirrored on the bedside table for easy access.

Park Hyatt Vienna Spa Pool

One of our favorite aspects of this hotel is the swimming pool, which is situated under the barrel ceiling of the old bank vault. The original vault door (think one-foot thick plate steel like a James Bond movie) is still in place, though you now access the pool via a different route. The pool is lined with golden tiles in the shape of gold bricks, and with calming piped music under the water, the pool is warm enough for relaxing and large enough for exercise.

Bank restaurant is a glorious space with 8m high ceilings and opulent decor, although it lacks any natural light. The breakfast offering is very high quality with many locally sourced ingredients (try the Styrian honey), and breakfast is included as complimentary if you book your stay via our luxury travel concierge. The restaurant has a completely different ambiance in the evening, with lower lighting and the backlit stained glass panels in the roof.

Vienna is known as the city of music and the city of dreams, and you can see why when you visit. This city center is as beautiful and ornate as an opulent wedding cake, with statuettes and intricate detailing plastering this elaborate city's fountains, corners, walls, and rooftops. Vienna is the second-largest "German City" in the world. Once the capital of the mightiest empire in Europe, it is still the EU's seventh-largest. This city is half a Millennium older than London, and its charm is maintained because much of it is a Unesco World Heritage Site.

2. Park Hyatt Zurich

The Park Hyatt Zurich couldn’t be better located a short 5-minute walk from the main street. It is found towards the lakeside end of the main street rather than the station or Bahnhof side. The advantage of this location is that you are also a short walk from the lake, the old town, and the designer end of the main street.

The hotel is aching modern. It is set in a modern building with almost floor-to-ceiling windows in both the communal area and the rooms. It offers an airy lobby with impressively high ceilings and wide, spacious corridors.

The look is contemporary and grand, and the guests seemed affluent, many dressed in designer labels. The hotel attracts business travelers as Zurich is a center for banking and commerce, and the clientele represents this. I think we were the only couple with a child when we stayed.

Even the base rooms here are large, with modern decor, a sofa by the window, and a large central bed. My favorite feature of these rooms is the wooden wall that separates the bathroom from the bedroom. These can be slid open so that you can have a bath and chat with your partner on the bed, or the kids can have a bath, and you can keep an eye on them from the comfort of the bed or sofa.

The bathroom has black marble sparkly tiling. Next to the bath is a wet-room shower, so you are, in effect, showering in the area you would use to get in and out of the bath. This is an excellent use of space and keeps the bathroom feeling spacious. There is also a sink with plenty of space to lay out your toiletries and a separate toilet with a separate door, so you can go while your partner potters around the bathroom without any blushes.

Beyond the lounge, bar, and restaurant, the main facility is thea & Fitness. This facility offers a full suite of wellness facilities and a range of high-end treatments, each designed to rejuvenate the Club Olympus Sp mind, body, and spirit.

Having visited the Park Hyatt Zurich back in 2008, I was delighted to return for two nights at the end of 2022 to see what had changed and whether this luxury outpost of the Park Hyatt brand still held up as one of the best hotels to rest your head in Zurich. The Park Hyatt Zurich couldn't be better located a short 5-minute walk from the main street. It is found towards the lakeside end of the main street rather than the station or Bahnhof side. The advantage of this location is that you are also a short walk from the lake, the old town, and the designer end of the main street.

2. Park Hyatt London River Thames

The Park Hyatt London River Thames is a gorgeous, modern luxury hotel on the banks of the River Thames. It has a decent pool and wonderful views and is easily accessible to the city.

However, if you like walking, this hotel is not brilliantly located and is across the river from all the major action in London, like shopping in Knightsbridge or Oxford Street. The bars, restaurants, and theatres of the West End and all the London parks are maybe 20 minutes’ walk away.

It is also directly opposite Westminster and offers local walking routes to stroll and explore Sloane Square and bustling Kings Road, the award-winning gallery Tate Britain, the charming green expanse of 200-acre Battersea Park, and the Kia Oval cricket ground.

This hotel offers an array of facilities and a beautifully modern hotel setting. There are loads of dining choices for culinary enthusiasts and a lavish spa where guests can enjoy relaxation lounges, a nail salon, spa rooms, and an indoor pool.

The Park Hyatt London is a new luxury hotel in the heart of London with great views over the River Thames. It is teaming with facilities and can be found in an up-and-coming area, but it is not ideally located for tourists as it is a heck of a walk from London's parks, the West End, and Knightsbridge shopping. Situated in an exclusive riverside location, the 203-room Park Hyatt London River Thames is located within R&F UK's Nine Elms development on the river's south bank. The addition of the hotel to the U.K. market signifies Hyatt's continued brand growth into Europe's leading cities.

4. Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi is an amalgamation of old-world charm and new-age culture with trendy nightspots and the brimming cultural districts of the capital. All of this lies close to the award-winning Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, which provides its guests with the best of both worlds: the ability to relax and unwind on the most pristine shores of Saadiyat whilst also being able to get the adrenaline pumping with adventures on the sun-kissed sands of the Arabian desert.

The Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi is one of three Hyatt hotels in Abu Dhabi. There is also an Andaz and a Grand Hyatt, and we have investigated which is best: Park Hyatt Vs. Andaz Vs. Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi.

At Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi, you can lose yourself in the luxury of an island sanctuary and enjoy stunning views of the Arabian Sea, landscaped gardens, and pool from your private balcony or terrace.

This stunning hotel features 306 generously sized and luxuriously appointed rooms, suites, and villas, some with private open-air plunge pools. These are the best rooms to pick. Sea View Rooms are large with floor-to-ceiling windows and delightful, chic Arabian cultural touches. The stunning views of the Arabian Sea, Saadiyat Beach, and the soothing pools of the hotel can also be enjoyed from the private balcony. Luxury extras include a Nespresso coffee maker, an open-plan marble bathroom with dual vanity sinks, Hans Grohe walk-in rain shower, a deep soaking stand-alone Toto bathtub, and Le Labo signature bath products.

Buenos Aires is one of the world's most stylish and cosmopolitan cities. Palacio Duhau - Park Hyatt Buenos Aires is situated in a residential neighborhood surrounded by luxury boutiques and in the heart of the French heritage district of Recoleta. Its location on a historic street is just a stone's throw from MALBA (The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires) and Puerto Madero. This visually arresting landmark holds its own in the eclectic Buenos Aires skyline by blending the 1930s charm of the French Palace Duhau with contemporary design and décor.

The hotel also has one of the largest swimming pools in Abu Dhabi and a 9km arc of pristine natural white sand beach.

The hotel’s Atarmia Spa features nine large spa treatment rooms (three with private outdoor terraces), an outdoor 25m lap pool, a fitness room, and a dedicated stretching studio. Abu Dhabi is the capital of the United Arab Emirates; a glistening jewel of a place with a skyline rammed with epic skyscrapers, vast shopping megacenters, trendy nightspots and a beautiful Corniche. 5. Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme

Park Hyatt Paris-Vendôme stands as a pinnacle among Hyatt hotels in Paris, earning its place among the elite world’s best Park Hyatt Hotels.

Its aesthetic diverges from the typical Parisian luxury hotel scene, eschewing ornate metalwork and Belle Epoche charm for a striking departure. Instead, stepping into this Park Hyatt feels akin to entering a luminous, expansive Egyptian pyramid or perhaps a grand Roman temple. Creamy pillars and statues, backlit with an evocative Roman torso motif, adorn the space, creating a unique ambiance that captivates.

Within, impeccable cleanliness pervades, complemented by sumptuous brown rugs that soften the gleaming cream corridors. The central courtyard bathes the interior in natural light, flooding through the expansive windows and creating an inviting atmosphere. Opting for a room overlooking the courtyard offers the added delight of people-watching, accompanied by the melodic strains of a pianist serenading guests in the bar below.

Is There A Four Seasons Hotel In Vienna
Is There A Four Seasons Hotel In Vienna?

Tips

Four Seasons is one of the most luxurious hotel brands in the world, and it is natural to ask the question, is there a Four Seasons in Vienna, Austria? Vienna, Austria’s capital, lies in the country’s east on the Danube River. Past residents include Mozart, Beethoven, and Sigmund Freud. It is a wonderful and historic city to visit. The city is known for its baroque streetscapes, imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn, the Habsburgs’ summer residence, its coffee-house culture, and vibrant design scene.

The accommodations themselves are opulent and generously proportioned, boasting modern creamy bathrooms that invite indulgence. For a truly special experience, select a room with a terrace affording captivating views of the Parisian streets. Culinary offerings at the Park Hyatt encompass a starred restaurant featuring a chef’s table, a charming Parisian café nestled beneath a glass roof, a refined bar, a cozy lounge area complete with a fireplace, and a terrace where Chef Jean-François Rouquette showcases his exquisite French cuisine. 6. Park Hyatt Zanzibar

Zanzibar has always sounded like a mystical island to me. Perhaps I read too many storybooks when I was a child about shipwrecks and treasures on these distant spice islands. But it’s not these stories that attract the luxury traveler to Zanzibar. It’s the stunning and unspoiled white-sand beaches that are better than those in the Caribbean, largely because of the lack of crowds.

The Rosewood Vienna is the best luxury hotel in Vienna. It is super stylish with the best rooftop restaurant and bar in Vienna, has really kind staff and feels like your own private home in Vienna.
