The best luxury Ritz-Carlton hotels and resorts in the world can be found below. We have already outlined the cheapest Ritz-Carlton hotels in the world, and the best Ritz-Carlton in Europe, now we outline the very best Ritz-Carlton hotels around the world for families, couples, and business, in the city and for pool and beachside luxury.

The Ritz-Carlton company is part of the Marriott group, which means you can collect Marriott Bonvoy points during your stay or redeem them for a free stay. Marriott Bonvoy is a solid loyalty scheme and offers a great way of getting further value from your hotel bookings.

Whether you are looking for family pools, a spa, a beachside resort, or a convenient city location for business or a short break, here are some of the cheapest Ritz-Carlton hotels in the world across America, Asia, the Pacific region, Europe, and Africa.

1. Ritz-Carlton Kapalua

The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. It’s a stunning beachfront resort on Maui with Hawaiian-inspired dining, Spa, culture, and activities. It is the best Marriott in Maui.

Kapalua, being at the northernmost point on Maui, makes it wetter and windier than the rest of the island, particularly in winter. If you keep driving North beyond the hotel, there are some incredible snorkeling beaches and some volcanic tide pools that the waves crash around. The Honolua store (ABC store) is right next door to the resort, which is ideal for snacks and a complimentary shuttle up to the Plantation Course to grab an alfresco bite with great views.

This hotel is very generous with upgrades when they are able. The rooms are large with marble bathrooms, large flat-screen TVs, hardwood floors, very comfortable beds, and a good-sized balcony with a sofa seat.

While elegant, this property lacks a Four Seasons level of service. The bellmen don’t always come to pick up your bags, and the restaurant isn’t great, although the cabana and pool service is excellent, with attentive staff, free sunscreen is available to everybody, and cool off mist at the adult pool section.

2. The Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu, Turtle Bay

The Ritz-Carlton O‘ahu, Turtle Bay is situated on the North Shore of Oahu, and this exclusive and remote resort offers wonderful ocean view rooms (all the rooms have an ocean view to some extent) in a large three-pronged concrete building built on a stunning peninsula.

The beach here is epic with golden sand, and the gardens stretch across the peninsula and join the tiered pool system designed next to the hotel and the shoreline below. The pool boasts slides and a freeform lava rock design, all shaded by swaying palms.

The hotel has a superb sunset bar where you can while the evening away. Every restaurant has astounding sea views and a huge club lounge with equally amazing views throughout and from its terrace. This is one of the best club lounges in Hawaii and offers an incredible and cost-effective space to relax in and to nibble on the delicious and numerous food offerings presented five times a day.

Golfers are spoiled with numerous golf courses in the surrounding area, and there’s a great spa if you want to relax. One of the stand-out features of this resort are its bungalows set down on the beach. These offer some of the most incredible accommodations in Hawaii and should not be missed.

3. The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna

The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna blends American charm with the grandeur of palatial Austrian architecture, nestled along the tree-lined Ringstrasse encircling Vienna’s historic old town. The hotel features a luxurious spa, a generously sized pool suitable for swimming laps, a lively rooftop bar offering stunning views of the city, and an Italian restaurant and a steakhouse.

The hotel can be found on the Schubertring, a circular boulevard, a 20-minute walk or a few minutes tram ride from the city’s top museums, galleries, designer stores, and coffee houses.

The Ritz-Carlton Vienna is a contemporary hotel with interiors that exude luxury, featuring an abundance of marble. The rooms are spacious and modern in design, though the decor isn’t particularly distinctive. The overall vibe is more quintessentially Ritz-Carlton than uniquely Viennese, delivering dependable comfort and exceptional beds, something this luxury brand is known for.

This pool area is one of the best in Vienna (the Park Hyatt Vienna also has a good pool). The pool size is impressive at 18 meters long and 1.4 meters deep. It also plays underwater music, and plenty of loungers flank this underground pool if you want to relax.

This Ritz-Carlton also has a club lounge with seventh-floor views, daily culinary presentations, and personalized service; a state-of-the-art fitness center; The Ritz-Carlton Spa with personalized services and elegant treatment rooms; and 900 m² of sophisticated event space that includes the Crystal Ballroom, three breakout rooms, and two boardrooms.

This contemporary property offers original dining experiences, from the unique farm-to-table Dstrikt Steakhouse to the skyline views of the Atmosphere Rooftop Bar, a taste of Sicilian Aperitivo culture at Pastamara – Bar con Cucina, and finally, exquisite signature cocktails at D-Bar. The rooftop bar is a particular highlight.

Dstrikt Steakhouse morphs into a breakfast restaurant in the morning with an outdoor and indoor area, so you can enjoy the street life while you eat. The interior is air-conditioned, and pop tunes are played in the background.

The buffet and a la carte menu are included (except the champagne and caviar dishes). The buffet has a generous spread of cheeses, cold cuts, berries, salad, cereal, Bircher Muesli, bread, and pastries. The a la carte was mainly for egg dishes, pancakes, and oatmeal porridge. Specialty coffees, fresh orange juice, sparkling and still water are also offered in generous quantities.

This is a very good breakfast with plenty of choices, and it is included for free if you book via our luxury travel concierge (along with prioritized room upgrades, hotel credit, and a welcome amenity).

4. The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Arts Barcelona

Towering 44 floors above the sea, the 5-star The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Arts Barcelona is a striking glass and steel skyscraper offering large rooms and 28 duplex penthouses. Hotel Arts Barcelona is home to a famous two Michelin-star restaurant and features great public spaces, including a rooftop spa and two outdoor pools overlooking the sea.

This Ritz-Carlton is one of the few luxury hotels in Barcelona, which is right on the beach, yet it also lies within 20 minutes of Las Ramblas and the historic city center. The nearest metro station is a 10-minute walk away, and from there, you can connect to a tram that takes you nearer to the hotel if you don’t fancy the walk. The hotel is actually located in the city’s Olympic Village area (and is home to a Frank Gehry sculpture). The attraction of this hotel is, of course, the beach plus the two excellent pools.

Renowned the world over for its impeccable service and lavish accommodations, the stunning 44-story Hotel Arts Barcelona, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, offers panoramic sea or city views from each of its 483 guestrooms, suites, and 28 duplex penthouses. The latter is located on the top floors of the hotel and offers butler service and the use of a MINI Cooper.

The rooms are great here, with particularly lovely bathrooms with high-end toiletries, a bath, and a very large shower. Interestingly, some of the rooms look towards the W Barcelona (also a Marriott hotel), which is also set on the beach.

A recently opened spa, 43 The Spa, has a stunning location on the 43rd floor of the hotel. With panoramic views and natural light, the Spa offers eight treatment rooms. With separate ladies’ and men’s wet areas, including a Sauna, steam baths, ice fountains, and vitality pools, the Spa offers a wide range of body and facial treatments with natural Sodashi products.

The outdoor rooftop pool is stunning, with stylish decking and comfy loungers. There’s also a family pool and whirlpool set in terrace gardens together with the Fitness Centre.

Let us not forget the stunning collection of Spanish art; and five restaurants located within the hotel, including the acclaimed two-Michelin-star Enoteca (with a wine cellar topping 700 labels).

The Ritz-Carlton does have a reputation for running excellent club lounges. You need to book a room with executive club lounge access to get executive floor privileges on the 33rd floor with a triple-height ceiling and great views across the marina and coastline. The club provides complimentary breakfast, tea service, hors d’oeuvres, and desserts.

5. Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel

The Al Bustan Palace, A Ritz-Carlton Hotel is an iconic and original hotel of Oman, built for the GCC Summit in 1985. Further hotel amenities include a beauty salon, concierge, gift shop, florist, and ATM/cash machine.

In terms of dining, guests can enjoy romantic dinners on the beach, afternoon tea beneath a soaring 125-foot dome, authentic Chinese cuisine, and an exclusive Jazz Lounge that transports you back to the 1920s, all of which celebrate the flavors of Oman and beyond.

It is worth mentioning that this hotel caters wonderfully to families who can enjoy all the pools. It also offers scheduled activities for families every day throughout the peak period.

The best time to visit Oman and Al Bustan Palace is between November and March when the cooler air enables you to see the mountain scenery and daytime temperatures average at 25°C. For the rest of the year, Oman is hot and hazy, particularly between May and August. Conversely, May to August is the time to visit if you want to pick up a bargain and don’t mind the heat.

7. The Ritz-Carlton, Budapest

The Ritz-Carlton Budapest is one of my favorite Ritz-Carlton hotels in Europe. It has a fabulous location overlooking Erzsébet Square, an iconic, leafy square in Budapest with a giant Ferris wheel. The staff at this hotel share Eastern European love, beginning with a glass of champagne or fresh orange juice on check-in.

The Ritz-Carlton Budapest exudes elegance, starting with its grand marble foyer adorned with stunning flower arrangements. This space also houses a stylish bar, an atrium restaurant, and a chic brasserie that opens onto Budapest’s iconic fashion street.

What truly sets this classy hotel apart is not just its refined ambiance—it’s the warmth and attentiveness of its staff. Their genuine hospitality, from friendly jokes, while serving to cheerful greetings as you return from a day out, creates an unforgettable experience that beckons you back.

The foyer is as spacious and opulent as expected from the Ritz-Carlton, featuring polished marble floors, plush carpets, and inviting seating areas. Thoughtful details, such as a sparkling modern light installation near the entrance and an exquisite fresh flower display, elevate the hotel’s charm to a whole new level.

The rooms here are spacious and modern, with large bathrooms with a separate bath and shower. Views are either over Erzsébet Square of the classy shopping street behind the hotel.

The hotel also offers a gorgeous pool, gym, as well as the best club lounge in Budapest. Beyond the lounge, we tried the main restaurant for breakfast, and the food was excellent, and the staff seem to really care. If you’re searching for a well-located classy hotel in Budapest, this Ritz-Carlton is one of the best.

8. The Ritz-Carlton, Bali

The Ritz-Carlton, Bali is a luxurious beachfront retreat located in Sawangan, Nusa Dua, just 45 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport and minutes from Jimbaran Bay, Pecatu, and Uluwatu. Surrounded by Bali’s lush volcanic mountains, verdant rice paddies, and golden beaches, the resort offers breathtaking 180-degree views of the Indian Ocean. Guests are within easy reach of Bali’s most revered cultural landmarks, including the iconic Uluwatu Temple, where the traditional Kecak dance is performed at sunset, as well as Jatiluwih and Ubud for deeper cultural immersion.

Set on 12.7 hectares of cliff-top and beachfront land, the resort’s architecture and design pay homage to Bali’s rich heritage, featuring intricate wood carvings, locally inspired décor, and open-air spaces that embrace the essence of island living. The expansive grounds are a serene mix of zen ponds with lilypads and goldfish, decked terraces, little bridges, and manicured winding pathways, creating a tranquil atmosphere. Given the sheer size of the resort, a 24-hour buggy service is available to transport guests between their rooms, the pool, beach, and restaurants.

The main infinity pool sits right by the beach, flanked by palm trees and shaded cabanas, seamlessly blending into the landscape. Beach loungers, shaded by parasols, are arranged on a tiered beach area, with small stone steps connecting each level of pristine white sand. 9. Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, Baja California Sur

Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve is the best Marriott Bonvoy resort in Los Cabos, Baja California Sur and it really is an incredible resort. If you scroll through the photographs on the hotel website, you can see just how incredible the place is!

The retreat, which is one of just two Ritz-Carlton Reserve resorts in the wider Caribbean-Mexico region, is set in San Jose del Cabo on the Sea of Cortez.

The property includes 115 suites and villas, a massive TLee Spas-designed spa, and an ultimate desert luxury ambiance. The mix of units includes 87 rooms, 28 suites, and 42 villas, headlined by the 6,000 ft² “Grand Reserve Villa.” Many of the suites and villas boast their own private plunge pools. All rooms have dark wood flooring and terraces or balconies with glass surrounds, so railings do not disrupt ocean views.

The Oceanfront Pool Room is our favorite room, with a private plunge pool and ocean views. These rooms have windows that slide right back to open up completely, so the wooden floors stretch through the room out onto a large terrace, where loungers and an alfresco seating area with a table that looks out over the pool and to the ocean beyond.

The property is surrounded by a 27-hole golf course complex, including three courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus.

Zadun, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve, joins the celebrated Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico, as the Halo brand’s two regional resorts.

10. Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort

The Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach is definitely one of the best Ritz-Carlton hotels in America. Why? The stunning Gulf of Mexico views from your room, and even more importantly, this beach faces the sunset for the romantics among us! The hotel is fronted by a gorgeous golden sand beach reached by a wooden walkway.

There’s a super pool with water slides for the kids and an excellent spa and fitness center with many exercise classes for adults. The kids club is amazing and fully supervised for children aged 5 through 12 years. They do a brilliant children’s scavenger hunt, and excellent activities are included in half and full-day sessions. Animal education with real-life animals, along with snacks and crafts to take home, are all included. For teens, there is a video game room at the Beach Resort.

Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Resort is an impressive five-star with soaring floor-to-ceiling windows and chandeliers. It is ideal for families, weddings (there is a marvelous Vanderbilt Ballroom), and conventions. It’s much larger than the Ritz-Carlton golf resort up the road (a cheaper resort to stay at to take advantage of all these wonderful facilities as you can minibus between the two for free.

This Ritz-Carlton is so good that we have also listed it as the best Ritz-Carlton in Florida. We have also compared this Ritz-Carlton Naples Beach Vs. the nearby Ritz-Carlton Golf Resort club lounge.
